| The school's judo tournament winds around, and everyone tries their best, including Japan's representative candidate Orihara from Class 1-B. Strong ones like Gamo really couldn't stand a chance against her new fit and form, but Nagatoro could impress Naoto if she can face Orihara in her current form. Apparently, both Nagatoro and Orihara's times go back towards even to their younger days training in the same dojo, and getting stronger by the bout, until one day when the latter completely overwhelms Nagatoro to instill fear within her. That's why she didn't want to go back to judo again knowing that she will lose against Orihara, and Naoto pushing his luck to convince her, even for an encouragement, Nagatoro would honor his every word, the tease coupled together with a kiss if he won. Paisen facing his worst fears against the insane Sasai, and sure enough he got whacked to the floor easily. But with Nagatoro's practice, despite Sasai being strong, Naoto broke free and did his best, plus with Nagatoro's encouragement to hold for long, but still lost under discretion. The time has come for the match between Nagatoro and Orihara, and it's intense. While everyone was calling for Orihara to end the match quick, there is Naoto supporting Nagatoro with his lungs. And though it's embarrassing, she still lost, but never gave up and renewed her feud with Orihara to get back at her another day. And when the time comes, if she wins, Naoto will reward her a kiss, with the only difference that she isn't teasing him at all and being serious about it. What a subtle change in Nagatoro's character, Naoto is turning from a scaredy cat to a chad. |

Was honestly pretty hype lmao Orihara is cute, she's a nice person Imagine a girl you like is cheering you on during a fight...  THE KISS PROMISE WOOOOOO AND SHE'S FULL SERIOUS One of my favorite moments from the manga... and there's still more to come |

| Damn. This must be the first time I felt threatened by something Nagatoro said. Probably cause of the voice. It didn't sound like the usual Nagatoro. Damn good episode. Shame that neither Naoto nor Nagatoro could win though. Would've been cool to see Naoto win but Ig it's too early for him. |
| I had already read this part of the manga, but seeing it animated has been very emotional to watch. Seeing Nagatoro animate Naoto and Naoto doing the same for her, I felt something click inside me for another week. It has been very nice to see this chapter and I hope to see how they continue the animation of manga. Since he has become my favorite since years ago.  |
| Wow how cute was this episode boys 😩 that look in Nagatoro eyes when senpai cheered her on. Whole world could be against her, as long as he’s with her that’s all that matters. Didn’t get the W, but both of them took big steps towards personal growth, way more important. I got a little emotional with that “if I win, will you kiss me” ending and the OST ngl One of my fave eps |

| Looks like those of us that are watching “Ippon Again!” this season are getting double the judo action this week, I’m happy lol. Loved getting backstory on Nagatoro and Orihara before their match together, Nagatoro’s feelings about judo up to this point make sense now, and to know that Orihara is supposed to represent Japan now goes to show how far she went. It looked hopeless for Nagatoro but thanks to Naoto’s words and performance in his own hopeless match she was able to put up a fight against Orihara and nearly manage to get an Ippon, but sadly got shafted of her win like Naoto did. But they were both still fantastic matches and moments. I’m glad Orihara and Nagatoro are friends again too, I’d personally like to see more Orihara because she has a cute design and we don’t know much about her personality still. And then came that final bit between Nagatoro and Naoto where a kiss was proposed if she ended up winning next time, which you could write off as a confession if you wanted to and I call that an epic win! And looks like the art club president’s sister makes her debut next episode, and it looks spicy lol. I also can’t believe we’re already down to 3 episodes left, life isn’t fair. |
| Another great episode! This show keeps getting better and better. It was nice to see more of Nagatoro's friends again! Yoshi spinning out her opponent and Sakura just throwing herself out and going all fujoshi over the boys' match. Senpai and Nagatoro cheering each other on was so sweet! Nagatoro's VA really went all out! Only thing I was missing was Nagatoro's and Senpai's friends joining in with the cheerleading for Nagatoro. That ending was wonderful too! Seems like Nagatoro found a very good reason to pick Judo back up. Also, now I'm hyped for Mou Ippon tommorow xD |

| One of the best episodes by far!! Season 2 is just banger after banger! 😍 I love this show so much, at least it's something to keep me going while I cry over Maou Gakuin being delayed. Senpai should do some yoga so he doesn't pull a muscle every time he even tries to stretch :D Sakura cracks me up This episode had some of the most serious moments for Nagatoro so far. It was so sweet how Senpai tried to motivate her because he didn't want to see her sulking. 💗 Yoshi is also hilarious with her English lines like "jii endo!" Senpai blushed when Nagatoro put her hair in the ponytail awww 💘 Them hyping each other up in front of all the other students warmed my heart!! She really meant it this time!!! 🥰🥰 That was a gutsy thing to say. I can't wait for the next episode! |
| Its Judo tournament time!! With Orihara making an appearance who is someone that Nagatoro has trained with before and is now an alternate rep player of Japan. Orihara faced Gamou in the first round but Orihara was to fast and won easily. Nagatoro also won easily to set up a match between Nagatoro and Orihara in round 2. But before that Senpai has his match against a much tougher looking guy compared to him. Who takes Senpai down quick. Senpai adjusts and through remembering what Nagatoro taught him he put up a good fight but ended up losing because of time. With the help of Nagatoro cheering for him which the other girls tease her for. After a little pep talk from Senpai, Nagatoro is ready and her fight with Orihara starts. Orihara does take her down at the start but it wasn't an ippon so it continues. The crowd starts chanting for Orihara to Ippon Nagatoro, Senpai then starts chearing for Nagatoro which embarrasses her at first but then fires her up as she then ends up taking down Orihara but in the end it wasn't and ippon and she lost due to time just like Senpai. At the end as well :) Nagatoro asking for a kiss as a reward from senpai if she wins next time!! She wasn't joking as well! The presidents sister/or cousin next episode! Lets see what happens then! |

| Kinda disappointing episode given the supposed hype this judo event had. But well, at least it remained realistic with both Paisen and Nagatoro losing. Already interested in President's sis, btw ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) |
| Well the kiss promise is still as it is, but we know it'll play a huge role in motivation going forward. Sweet episode, and the ones coming from this point on will follow the same suit. |

| Aw hell yeah, this is the significant turning point in the story! Nagatoro was demotivated to pursue a sport she had been doing since she was a kid due to the fact that she got absolutely defeated by Orihara, but that's not all. The fact that they both trained together and that Orihara was the one who always lost, made Nagatoro's loss over her so much more inconceivable. She got honestly defeated by Orihara, and the only proper way to cope with that whilst still retaining her pride is for Nagatoro to simply stop pursuing the sport which she did... Though this time Senpai is here. He's here to cheer her up, it's undoubtedly true that aside from their tiny intimacies, Senpai knows next to nothing about Nagatoro and the hardship or conflict she holds in her heart, but hey... To change something, one must instigate the change. Senpai held his best and lost but not helplessly against an opponent much more physically superior to him similarly Nagatoro held her best and lost but not helplessly against an opponent significantly more skilled than her They both support one another, in a way that only one of them could immensely boost the moral of the other, almost like they're couples. Heh... Speaking of couples... That promise Nagatoro made at the end there, was no tease. She straight up wanted Senpai to kiss her if she ever won against Orihara. Now if that's not a hint, then reality is a lie. My man Naoto senpai had the balls to prod into his girl's life, motivated her, enlightened her mood and even got held on to kiss her in the future, bro is living the life, W chad move |

| This episode was pretty fun. I laughed at the way Yoshi and Sakura lost their matches in completely different ways! XD Naoto did himself really well. It sucks that his opponent had well-built in terms of muscular strength and their match was very one-sided at first, with his opponent unable to nail the "Ippon" throw needed to win outright. Taking advantage of what he was taught by Nagatoro and from the vocal inspiration from her, Gamo, Sakura and Yoshi, Naoto gave it his all and did turn the tide of the battle in his favour. Sadly, the match ended and he barely lost out, although his opponent did praise him for his efforts. Nagatoro's match against Orihara was pretty intense. The flashback of their time in Judo club where it went from Nagatoro winning easily to Orihara winning easily was where Nagatoro lost her interest in the sport itself. Her match wasn't so one-sided this time, but Orihara did have the advantage a lot of the time. When the crowd started to cheer for Orihara more and more, Naoto chose that time to shout at the top of his voice so that Nagatoro would find the inspiration to give it everything she got and boy did she respond. Sadly, her throw wasn't an Ippon and just like with Naoto, she barely lost out. Still, it's nice to see her and Orihara smiling at each other after the result. =) The scene afterwards with Nagatoro and Naoto walking home was VERY good. Nagatoro promised to Naoto that she would kiss him for real if she wins her rematch with Orihara in the future and she also went to clarify to Naoto that her promise wasn't a tease at all, leaving him all flustered as a result. Looks like we'll finally see the art club president's younger sister making her proper entrance next time. Going by the preview at the end of the episode, it does look rather promising! |
| Was the best episode so far. I love that they progress their relationship and try to get better in Judo. Very nice. I had so much fun this episode. |

| My first time watching a Judo fight, seems interesting. Senpai actually shouting cheering for Nagatoro is so cute, everyone heard him. It's also cute when they both losing because of times up. Usually Nagatoro will win, but this is the first episode seeing her losing. The next episode preview.... Guess that's the president younger sister, she get along with Nagatoro it seem.... And she becoming her sister next fan service... She got a big one but not as big as her older sister. |
