| Valentine's Day means chocolate which means the chance to make some memories. Of course this anime would have such an episode with a theme. Quite adorable if you ask me. Chitose also seems like the type of girl who enjoys these type of special occasions. |

| Now I think I’m stating the obvious but still the fact that the mere existence of this dude is a boredom incarnate just solidifies its standing time after time whenever he clarifies, “I don’t see Mahiru in that way”. Like come on it’s getting frustrating at this point, I mean you sure do, that grin after taking a bite of valentines chocolate was so obvious. And yeah here’s to check another calendar event, Valentines day. Though we aren't pulling brakes just yet as it’s like this series is trying to present itself as a huge ass year calendar where we check certain events every other episode, almost as if it’s a necessity. White day happened, as usual he gifted her something.. a bracelet this time in a full-blown lookup at that. We know she'll be glad accepting it, and so success to the mission self-insertion, as usual. |

| Another Kawaiiii Episode. the moment she received the white day gift from Amane-kun was so cute and adorable.💞💘. She is already in love 😍 with him and he is also in love with her but didn't realized his feeling (itsuki-kun exactly show through him). She's really like a newly Wed wife taking care of Amane-kun. I was actually watching the anime directly live from TOKYO-MX so I don't know what they were talking but from the gestures and situations I can tell for sure this episode is amazing. Waiting for week like a torture 18/02/2023 come fast. So much excited can't wait for next episode.    |

| Well this was as cute as expected. Amane was got so overloaded with sugar from Mahiru's newlywed behaviour that he is fallen on his knees. The rose-gold bracelet looks better than i expected in anime form. Thank god Itsuki saying that he is a match for Mahiru Dont forget to watch the next EP preview after the credit guys! Its the single most important arc what will follow to next season. Angel's Truth. |

| Boys this was phenomenal eats what an episode. Squealed like a girl so many times. It’s clear amane and Mahiru are starting to realise their feelings for one another. The valentines and white day gifts were so cute. Mahiru using the coupon to have amane put the bracelet on her was just chef’s kiss. Perfect episode man. “She really is like a young wife” 😭 Shoutout to Amane’s best friend for helping him be more aware of his feelings. |

| Of course the premier event for Feb's gonna be valentines day. Someone's popular in class huh. The charm of the star of the track club huh. Russian roulette choc though was a pretty interesting surprise for Amane though. Those orangettes look pretty tasty. Its funny that even that glare that Mahiru gave Amane was cute in a way. Dressing up for white day though was quite the surprise. But it was worth seeing Mahiru show some obvious notice. The do anything that you want ticket though was a nice touch on Amane's part. But Mahiru does very much look like a young wife at this point. More than ever it looks like the two are becoming more concious of each other as potential romance partners. The sweet moments this ep had really showed this excellently. |

| This farce of "we're not like that" is starting to wear on me, because having been "playing house" for so long, it's difficult to understand how they're not together yet. Until I know more about the characters other than what's shown on the surface, it's hard to get invested in them as well. The problem so far is how the romance is executed without much nuance. It just feels like we're getting slapped in the face with what seems like diabetes, so we're just getting too much of that sweetness. Good romance anime execute their romance in more subtle ways, and gift-giving does work, but not when the "couple" has been practically living together for so long. Now, I somewhat understand people not wanting to leave the status quo when they're good friends and all, but there should be some sort of boundaries you know? These two will be in more romantic setups, I just know it, and even in very romantic situations, I doubt they'll get together. The show is so focused on Amane and Mahiru denying their feelings for one another, and can't seem to find its way out of that. Like last episode, this one just wasn't good, and I doubt it will be until some backstories are told. |
| Here's a thought. Why don't you guys move in together, that'll save the costs for food, and you are practically already doing it anyway... Loved this episode, can't wait when they finally admit their feelings. Best couple this season, honestly! |

| Valentines Day is coming up and ofcourse the popular kid from the class gets the most chocolate. Chitose making spicy chocolates for Amane was funny to see, Mahiru making that hot chocolate was wholesome though. Amane getting an return gift for White Day was wholesome as well, Mahiru is gonna cherish it. |

| Orange and a darker chocolate are a great pairing, those chocolates looked great. I think we're at the point where if they don't just form the relationship it's going to start being tired watching them floundering around embarrassed over and over. I think we're heading there though with Itsuki pushing it along himself so that's a good sign. |

| Its valentines day folks and that means chocolate giving with Chitose asking Amane for advice for what chocolates to give to Itsuki, we see Mahiru closely listening in to the convo as well. Also Kadowaki has a problem that legit no other boy would have, nice to see Amane helping him out, hope they become friends cause Kadowaki seems like a nice enough guy. Amane really hit the jackpot on the first chocolate huh lol. Mahiru and Amane are now finding it harder and harder to hide their obvious feelings for one another, they really did look like a newlywed couple at the end as well. We all can do with a good friend like Itsuki, one that knows us well and can offer up some advice!! See you next week for my weekly dose of diabetes. |

| I get it, that our lovers are innocent newcomers to the world of romance. But sometimes I wish there was a little more of an adult edge to The Angel Next Door. Like Horimiya or Say I Love You. But I loved this episode. Almost every moment was full of unspoken love and passion. |

| Good episode. Even though Valentine's Day is pretty much a standard item for any rom com, this one was quite well executed. Indeed more newlywed vibes, although I think the previous episode was perhaps even better. |
| Idk how to feel about Itsuki, I find it very unsettling when he's on screen, since the 1st time we got introduced to his relationship "in person" with Chitose, I cannot stop feeling like he is one of those guys that get CUCKED a lot, just look at them, the way she talks and do stuff with Amane (and probably with many other guys because of her personality), and the way he just look at her like "this is fine". It's not about being jealous or not, but their relationship just makes me think of her cucking him after marriage and he being totally ok with it lol I've seen hundreds of animes like this one (NOT NTR OF COURSE), and I think this is the 1st time I've felt like this looking at one of the couples lol |

| Whoa Amane went and interacted with the popular guy in class, I feel like something'll happen between them later in the story. Amane's and Mahiru's exchange during Valentine's Day and White day was pretty cute and wholesome too. Amane looks like he's gonna explode one of these days lol, wonder how that'll go o.o |
