I'm guessing they don't want to ruin their reputation on their main account so they just created new ones to write a negative review

just checked it out. seems like alt accounts or fakes. people being people. the most you can do is report it and laugh about it. I'm not sure if other people are like me but I don't care about other people's reviews or opinions when it comes to watching any anime. i enjoy what i enjoy. so try not to let it bother you. if you are a fan of the anime you should know it's good and don't need someone telling you otherwise. and if you don't like the anime that's completely fine too. we don't all need to like the same things. but its kinda whatever. May they find anime they enjoy and love.

That's kind of pathetic... like I get being "insecure" about how people think of you but going down this road isn't the way.

& reputation for MyAnimeList? Most people that use this site are "anonymous" so unless you put all your public details on MAL, you don't have to worry about such things like that.

I 100% agree with you. I don't let reviews influence me even if it's positive because I do prefer finding out on my own.

I just have a problem with fake people making fake reviews to somehow hurt the "anime's MAL rating". It's like, what is the point of doing that? Do they ever think to themselves, "am I being a fake and dishonest person by doing this?" or they just do it on impulse? I guess that's more of a psychological question but I wish I knew how their minds work when they participate in this madness.

Looks like that is indeed the case, after I just went and took a look.

But, this is to be expected right? because this is MAL we are talking about where everything including the ratings and ranking don't make any sense.

And I don't even bother reading these so called 'reviews' since majority of the times it is just people whining for attention, about how much they hate a popular series and nothing else.

Like if you hate something so much, then why even bother writing a review? Just drop it and move on in your life. Doesn't make any sense right? Like why would you be so invested in something you don't enjoy/like.

It's like these people do it on purpose just for coming into the limelight. It seems like they are under the impression, that they are gonna be evaluated and will be given a grade by MAL or by the other users lol.

And then these are the same people who disable the comments section since they get scared and they very well know that what is going to happen if they leave it open.

And this is not just about reviews, you can also see how many people create bait/troll threads in the forums of the popular shows by going out of their way and creating alt accounts. And not just one, but multiple. I mean their dedication is just something else.

Lol I wouldn’t be too bothered by it, it’s just classic MAL. We are talking about the same site where people organize to review bomb popular anime so that their favorite show keeps a higher rating than whatever it is (literally Bleach rn with FMAB). Just use MAL however you want to use it, enjoy what you enjoy, and just ignore the toxicity. Some people have nothing better to do after all!

They just want to hate on the show for absolutely no reason. And they probably aren't using their main account because they themselves have given Blue Lock 8 or 9/10.

Bro I read online that Code Geass has one of the worst endings. I started watching it the very next day and now it's in my Top 3 of all time. From then on I didn't give a shit about other people hating on a show for no reason.

Check if they all rated Haikyuu at a 10, if yes then yes, if no then no.

Probably are though, you should report it to an administrator by messaging them so that these and possibly multiple other accounts may be investigated and the issue, resolved.

I'm not active on MyAnimeList, so this reply comes half a year late, but I'm a real person that admires AoT as a story. I'm a writer, so I know how hard it is to write something that has so many plot points making sense, a cohesive world-building that isn't too complex to understand, and each character being well-rounded instead of a caricature. I'd love to see more writers put this amount of effort into their stories- then AoT would stop being my favorite story :p
