| Ataru sure doesn't have life easy, and to make matters worse, the introduction of Sakura has seen more cursed days than she ever had, other than Cherry being her dad. And being the shrine maiden that she is, being in frail health and being heart palpitations every now and then because of evil spirits surrounding her body, Ataru sure got into a lot of trouble. Ataru seeking Cherry the monk's advice to avoid Lum and her electrocution, and his solution of tying this yellow ribbon onto her horns worked out flawlessly, thinking that it was a gift from her beloved, this so-called "yellow ribbon of happiness". When Shinobu tried to take it off of Lum, he shielded her but with the former's intention that he could lock her Oni powers away and find Shinobu instead. Instead, that was a total fluke. It's either be electrocuted, or be electrocuted fully. Shutaro's on his way here, and he's a force to be reckoned with! |

| Sakura-sensei is already here. Her original seiyuu was nice, but Sawashiro hits different. Btw forgot to mention that Ten-chan is nowhere to be seen. L for me, he was one of the funniest characters. |

| Haters gonna hate; As perverted as he is, Moroboshi might as well just embrace what he has. How did they get a picture of him in his disguise? Lmao. The segment with Sakura was pretty amusing. Of course drowning Moroboshi in more bad luck is the last thing he needs. But, considering how frustrating it is that he won't just take advantage of what he has, then it is what it is. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Another good episode. |

| Sakura was kikyo before kikyo lol. Awesome episode, I love how David Pro have stayed true to the 80s vibe and just updated production values for modern consumption. A very very faithful retelling of the story. I’ve had so much fun watching Ataru just be a dumbass and Lum chase him. Yes, it’s a simple and silly plot, that’s kind of the point.. can’t wait to see Shutaro next week, things are gonna get even wackier. |

| Married couple never spend a minute apart, well said Lum. The kiss was sweet. Sakura's here and she's a hottie. Ataru's big plan of restricting Lum's power backfiring was hilarious. |

| For those who didn't get the Jugemu Jugemu line. Cherry's mixture at the end also had the kanji for "bad fortune" in it but it wasn't translated. I'm starting to feel like the anime version of Pikachu was inspired by Lum. |
| Ah yes! much better paced compared to the first episode! I'm glad I got to see Ms. Sakura in action though I think I like her 80s VA more, It really made her sound like a mature woman. We got some more cute moments with Lum as the ribbion chapter is adapted and of course more chaos insues as Ataru gradually becomes more and more "unlucky". Great episode I can't wait until all the rest of the characters join to make the anime more chaotic and lively, as well as Ataru and Lum growing on each other. |

| Hilarious episode and Lum is adorable, I'm really enjoying this show idk why are people complaining about shouting and screams, personally it didn't bother me once. I wouldn't even have noticed it if I hadn't read the comments |
| Ah! Finally the debut of the beautiful Sakura. The original VA will be the best in my biased mind but I think Miyuki Sawashiro did a good job. People wanted her to voice Makima but this could make up for it. Too bad Ataru's "disease" was cured in the first Sakura episode The next episode is the debut of Mendou! It’s strange he's gonna appear before Wonder if Megane and Chibi will become recurring characters. Most likely not because of this anime's shorter runtime for each chapter. |

| Yep Lum's presence within the class is a major distraction. Thats some impressive strength that Shinobu had. Pretty good OP theme. Lum's missing person appeal was just like her. But man Ataru is such a creep though. Its funny that Sakura's mom had a rope ready and waiting though. Equally amusing was Sakura's chant of things she wants to eat as well. I guess seeing an attractive woman is the only cure that Ataru needs no matter the extent of his injuries. Though it did limit her powers the ribbon did actually look nice on her. Still even without her powers she's still fearsome in melee. Looks like we have an incoming star on our hands next week. |

| Even after taking all of Sakura's spirits that where making her frail, Ataru is unaffected. Talk about spirit! In the second half, Lum definitely isn't just a damsel in distress even while depowered as seen by the brutal thrashing she gave ataru. Another great episode indeed! |

| I'm still not feeling it :/ Too rushed to the point I find both MC's annoying and I'm not sure if gets any better. Maybe I'll go watch the original... I'll give this one more chance because I want hear Momoru's voice next week. |

| Such a star-studded voice cast, make you realize how loved and cherished the franchise is overall there in japan. Another over the top personality to make his appearance next episode, can't wait. |

| Poor Ataru, everyone hates his guts especially when Lum follows him to class and kissing him in front of everyone . Ataru runs into Sakura who is a shrine maiden, but in very poor health. Sakura felt the need to exorcise his demons so she takes him back to her house. Ataru later consults with Cherry on how to prevent Lum from electrocuting him so Cherry gives Ataru a yellow ribbon which blocks Lum's oni powers. The yellow ribbon works for a while until one of Ataru's friends spill the beans about it. Despite having no electricity, Lum beat up Ataru until he was forced to take the ribbon off of Lum and she shocks Ataru anyway. I laughed my ass off watching this episode and I can't wait to see more. |

| With this second chapter I've found my only 2 problems with the reboot: Sumire doesn't know how to put "cute" voices, it's like a normal anime girl talking, and she pronounces A LOT the ~cha, it's like "some sentece CHHHHA". Fumi Hirano (the original voice) had a more unique voice with Lum, the voice was more "raspy", which gave her that je ne sais quoi and the "cha" sounded way more natural. It's like they told Sumire "The ~cha is very important in lum's character" and she puts all her effort into OVERpronounce the CHHHHHA, while not adding a special tone in lum's voice. As much as I love Sumire, I don't think it's was the right choice for Lum And the second problem is although it's a remake/reboot, they don't add these peculiars and distinctive frames of UY: But I've waited 20 years for this and I'm gonna enjoy it anyway |

Out of all characters, his backstory is more tragic, so he might feel out of place in an over-the-top comedy David Pro is going for. So I kinda understand its ommission but I hope it'll be brought up in a short flashback or something in the future. I would have liked to see them remake that episode, since I never saw the original version. |

| Poor Sakura pre-exorcism sounds like a 10-year chainsmoker, lol. Props on her VA for that performance. Even without her zappy bits and blatant disregard for gravity Lum is a handful to deal with. Say it with me now: Piiiiiiiikaaaaaaa.... CHUUUUUUU!!!!! |

| OMG that kiss scene was so smooth! The colours, the animations, everything, David Productions once more making an EXCELLENT job adapting a manga, even if it is only a selection of "the best episodes". "ah but they left a lot out", honestly it's working for me, I'm loving it. And I must say, I love Lum so much. Best waifu ever. |
