| Odd start to the series. I thought I skipped an ep the way characters were introduced and basically nothing was happening early on and no clear worldbuilding just very subtle stuff to get you the premise of the show only at the end of the episode. Animation was pretty nice....one hell of a passion to that kiss hah |

| I don't know what's up with those 7★ score only but I would give this first episode a 9~10/10. MC is a douchbag though but the Violet and Pink girls have a pretty wonderful personality even if it will be obvious what will be their roles and attitude towards our MC. This is more like a Harem than Romance. I'm still curious what's the relationship between those three but their characters are pretty enjoyable. The animation was a cool beauty, especially the action scenes was superb and within my target area. Kisara and Ayano's respective VA's are great, I love their voices. It suits the two of them. I'm expecting more from this series, especially those powers they're using. However, additional world building wouldn't hurt and more mystery. | It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |

| I do understand that comparing completely different anime is a wrong way of handling your life leading to deep despair only, but as two of them are airing literally simultaneously and both being TV originals by the same studio, I do believe it is appropriate to compare Engage Kiss and Lycoris Recoil. The animation of the latter looks a lot better to me, characters are more live and enjoyable, and it doesn't have totally unappealing harem type male main character. And for a reason unknown Kisara is obsessed with this loser. Although his circumstances are kinda (strongly) relatable. Also, where it was mentioned that Ayano was his ex-girlfriend? Have I really missed that? But it's only the first episode, and I do find this anime amusing, Kisara is awesome and sexy, and I really liked her seiyū acting, thus I'm going to binge-watch this series now. That hentai kiss utterly all of a sudden though. |
| I'm not terribly impressed with this series. I thought the first episode was mid. I already don't like the male MC because he lives off of 2 girls which is pretty fucked up. |

| This first episode was even better animated than I expected, it was definitly a feast for the eyes, but unlikely they will hold this level of quality for all the other episodes, DOUBT IT. Nothing special, but it is definitly not your high school setting either, so I m interested in knowing what will come from here (even though I already know some stuff, from teases I got from people talking about this while it was airing). |

| This was a pretty good episode. Just wonder how Shuu is unable to pay off his living expenses despite him having Kisara supporting him along the way. I really do hope that both Kisara and Shuu make it out alive. |
| We got a couple yanderes here... this looks like it's going to be fun! I have high hopes for Shuu as well, from the power he displayed at the end, I bet he's gonna have a few epic moments. Also, some spicy scenes with his succubus lmao. |

| I see why it's called "Engage Kiss", lol. But even that might be understating it, with the canoodling that was going on there. Then again, Shuu and Kisara are sleeping with each other one episode in, so guess you can't expect it to pull any punches. The plot isn't all that interesting so far, but the animation and characters seem appealing enough. |
