| I've read the manga for this before and this is still strange to see in anime form. They really didn't hold back much on Vermeil's personality in this episode or how flirty she is with Alto. The AT-X version is mostly uncensored so that's a bless. Not a fan of Lilia or her personality though. It seems right off the bat, she has a sort of rivalry with Vermeil already... Yeah, I think this is going to be a guilty pleasure of the season. The story feels laughable at the moment but the episode has a lot of meme-worthy scenes. |

| Everyone has to start somewhere, and this is hentai studio Staple Entertainment's first non-H anime (though the studio has done many production assistance work). But I really have to say that they really put in effort into their first-ever mainstream production right out of the gate, unlike many of the low-budget studios. 1st Year student Alto Goldfield is the hopeless student in the Magic Academy of Ortigia, and summoning a familar as a contractual partner that otherwise to repeat the year...this formula is something that's already done before...anyone remembers Zero no Tsukaima a.k.a The Familiar of Zero? Yep, the summoning formula that's now 18 years old at this point. Alto summoning this gorgeous naked demon Vermeil that forms a contact with him in the similar vein of mana transfer from a kiss, it just rings close to ecchi levels. But in the academy, that's just a no-no, but either way, he passes the summoning test from Vermeil passing off as a human to advance to his 2nd Year. Of course, the AT-X version is uncensored goodness, and as usual, the HIDIVE version...is semi-censored to hell. Even Alto whom can pass in all other areas, this is one that he'll find the most troublesome with, and Vermeil being sealed in the book that dropped on Alto's head for him to summon her (thus breaking the spell), it's karma in the sexual fantasy. Of course, how could the old (childhood) friend Lilia Kudelfeyt pass this off, and the first thing she does is challenge him and Vermeil to a duel that's an old-school etiquette to settle grudges. Even Lilia can feel sexual for Alto too, this is a harem-like situation no doubt. But in terms of power, Vermeil is obviously the stronger one, and Lilia ends up losing, to Alto's agreement that both her and Vermeil get along as friends, no infighting. And of course, this is his start of always getting sexually harassed by Vermeil. Decent OST from Kaori Ishikawa and Mili (though the latter's ED is the best of the 2 songs). Heh, I'm calling this out: this show (plus tomorrow's Isekai Meikyuu de Harem wo) will be my guilty pleasures of the season. A great adaptation of the Chapter 0 oneshot, colour me surprised. |

| Now this is what I wanted from this anime. Straight up onee san ecchi. Loving Vermeil, she's beautiful, hot and wears a virgin killer too boot, perfection. Ecchi scenes were lit and the kisses too. Liking Lilia too, her desires are out in the open. Also both OP/ED were good. Loved the premiere, excited for more. |

| Finally a fantasy ecchi-romance featuring an oneesan. Although, I'm slightly disappointed that Vermeil isn't really a cougar. The potenial love traingle is also a bit of a turn off. Oh well, this anime makes up with assets. I'm talking about Vermeil who can serve as a neck pillow  Decent start. Staple entertainment is sticking to their roots. |

| Holy shit this is going to be a guilty pleasure. Wtf is that Gate opening and why is it smaller than the ara ara FMC, in the beginning, lol and Vermeil got the beauty I'll tell you that but my boy Alto is so innocent I feel actually so bad he may lose his virginity one day and what's their age gap again? We'll wait and see. But damn I didn't expect the amount of details and the way the school system works ain't your typical design. Interesting to see that Alto failed a certain field test, at least the teacher gave this kid an extension and he needs to find a way to make a contract or he'll get held back. Lilia is a supportive girl no matter what. Then in any of those casting series where they perform and form some spell while this one puts their blood and summon the ara ara FMC, that is Vermeil and the censorship is the peakest I've seen probably because she got the biggest cups out there but I'm getting a Food War flashback every time she's moaning lmao. Hey at least her boobs helped Alto to passed the examination but the progression between their contraction is quite interfered when Lilia asked them for a duel but in the end, we know who wons but Alto is an innocent kid so his way of thinking would be like, "Let's converse!" but seems like Armeil and Lilia won't actually get along. Armeil is indeed a revolutionary demon and through her power of naughty things, she was kept sealed, unfortunately. Alto is living like a man of culture. |

| WHAT in the NUDITY-less HENTAI. LOL I love this expression.  To be frank I enjoyed this quite a bit despite the obvious things they tried to pull off, of which I'm not too much of a fan. Ignoring those things, this was fairly enjoyable despite feeling pretty generic, the old OP MC and the female osananajimi who's in love with you. But I guess it's too soon to judge. I hope they cut it out with the obvious try hard ecchi stuff and hand gestures, it's coming off as unnatural and not at all enjoyable to watch, it seems forced. It should just flow with the scene as if it's NEEDED there xD. The animation is pretty decent, at times it felt like I was looking at some painting. The childhood friend is the most generic looking girl I've ever seen, generic voice, generic hair, generic cuteness. IDK what's wrong with me but to me it felt like she didn't have any sort of uniqueness about her. She's just toally normally cute, nothing more. But this scene lmao The OP is nothing special but I liked the ED. I'm hoping this is good as I've heard from a few people that this anime is a bit different and the MC is a bit different and this should be good so IDK let's see how this turns out to be. Looking forward to next ep. 5/5. |

| Just watched SubsPlease and a raw AT-X version side by side. Didn't see any difference in censorship, so unless there's a 3rd version, I'm not sure what this talk of censorship is. Anyway, don't care about the guy very much nor the pink hair girl but I quite enjoy my lewd oneesan, bonus points for being a demon. |

| Finally we get a good ecchi onee-san fantasy in Vermeil in Gold. This series reminds me of Ane Naru Mono(The Elder Sister-Like One) in which Vermeil is just as charming as Chiyo. I'm not really interested in the forced love triangle between Vermeil and Lilla since Alto(strange name) is not aware of Lilla's feelings and the childhood friend never wins anyway. Can't wait to see some more sexy moments between Alto and Vermeil. |

| definitely my guilty pleasure anime of this season.. for a hentai studio.. the production values are quite decent.. especially the filter for the background.. Vermeil won't be taking Yor's place as waifu of the season but she is a nice addition to this season waifu baits.. its a 6.5/10 anime from me from first episode but lets see if the plot actually takes us somewhere.. |

| I tuned in for the succubus waifu with the tig ol bitties, man. I’m not even gonna try and hide it. This show is pure culture and that’s pretty much the only reason it was on my radar. That being said, I found myself actually enjoying the first episode (culture aside). Lilia made me chuckle, especially with how lewd she could be. Girl has a big crush on our innocent and very dense hero and is a total closet perv haha. I look forward to seeing her and Vermeil compete for the dude’s attention. Speaking of, I’m gonna have to see if there’s an uncensored version around to bask in the full glory that is Vermeil lol. She’s quite a character, very seductive and mischievous but there’s definitely more to her than meets the eye. For a first episode of a cultured anime, not bad at all. Definitely a weekly for me. Boobs and a laugh or two, what’s not to love? |
| I'm not disappointed in the slightest. It's just the trashy wish fulfilment anime I thought it will be, and I love it. One thing I could complain about is Vermeil's voice - I'd prefer something more onee-san style. Btw. I took a quick look at AT-X version and didn't find any differences. |

| The horny show of the season is here (well, there is still Isekai Meikyuu de Harem left) and it's already looking good ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) I definitely didn't expect to hear the big titty demon being voiced by Maaya Uchida haha, but I like it. Pink haired girl is hilarious, I love how horny she is. But being a childhood friend, she's doomed, right? I liked it a lot more than I expected, looking forward to more. |
