Was wondering if I'll miss anything by watching the Dub, over the Japanese subtitles? I gotten uses to watching Netflix shows in in Eng Dub, but I dislike localization changes.

Has anyone watch both in sub and dub? Notice anything?

I have noticed that in some cases English subs are completely wrong. They don't match the spoken Japanese at all.
It seems that English subs are actually just transcribed English dub.

So my question is, whether anyone will make a fansub, which actually has correct subs.

There's two sets of English subtitles I think, one that's for the Japanese version and ones that are subs for the dub itself.

There's only one English sub, the other option is just closed captioning, which is intended for hearing impaired viewers.
If you reply back to me and I never respond, I lost interest and don't care. Sorry about that.

Personally I prefer the sub, just because I like Taniyama Kishou's screechy voice as Dark Schneider I feel like it fits the character a lot better.

You might be using the CC, which is based on the English dub. It's different than the English sub.

(Also, if you use the sub, the Eng sub changed and adapted to the Eng dub if you switch to the dub, at least in mine, so it might be an error on your Netflix, if the sub (not CC) is still based on the English dub despite using JP dub)

No wonder I saw that not all the subtitles were correlating with what it's been said in Japanese

Generally I have a no dub rule, but tbh I watched this dub and the voice actors were amazing. Now as I broke my cardinal rule, I did just rewatch the last the last episode will subs and original voice actors. Not taking away from the English dub, as I watched it all in dub. But rewatching final episode in sub, I feel a full rewatch coming on.

Its so very subtle the difference its hard to explain. But go sub every day.

Ps the vc's doing the English dubbed nailed this.

Second season when!!

:Edit As to ops question, even when I watch dub I leave subtitles on, nothing funky going on. This show was clearly made for fans of anime and it rocks no matter which language oir subs you choose.

I think both are good for this series. The dub is solid, if you want to do dub this is one you can. I think the sub is just a little bit better because of Dark Schneiders Japanese voice actor. This is 80s metal reference the anime and Taniyama hits those high notes really well, similar to a 80s heavy metal vocalist. I enjoyed that just a little more than the English voice actor.
