| It's kinda impressive whta magic can really do in this show. Ethnobalt is one of a kind character this arc with those skills. Poor Filo though. She's not being treated well and in fact very cruely by an abuser. It hurts to see characters suffer in this show, especially her. Episode also goes to show how much Naofumi cares about Filo by his reaction. I mean, seriously that was just cruel to see. |

| Finally an actually faithful adapted episode. We get Raph-Chan(biggest concern) ethanobolt and Filo’s rescue and all 3 were done pretty well. Let’s hope this continues going forward. Looking forward to seeing Glass and everyone next week. Also, hoping we get volume 23 announced soon here. There were rumours they’d use the anime as promo but season 2 is damn near done at this point. |

| Raph-Chan its finally here! And its as cute as I remember. Shield hero have beee better since the start of the New arc, its a shame they make that much mistakes with the past arc, but atleast this one is better paced, and adapted so far. |

| Show has a long history when it comes to abuse with slaves, so watching Filo going through the same unfortunately didn't come as a surprise. Though atleast she's rescued for the time being, but we still have things going on with Raphtalia. |

| I have a feeling Kyo is gonna whammy Raphtalia and that’s why the slave crest is gone from the stats screen. Probably gonna brainwash her and tie her slave crest to him somehow. Raph-chan is still around so she’s alive for now despite being captured. Doesn’t really look good for her… I hope Naofumi is able to save her before anything worse happens. I’m glad Naofumi was able to save Filo. It’s too bad we didn’t get to see Naofumi go medieval on that piece of shit, save for that brief scene. I forgot he has some truly terrifying shields in his arsenal. Anyways, I’m liking these new characters so far. Chris is friggin adorable (Raph-chan too) and Ethnobalt actually has some pretty good support skills. His “boat” is more of a ship and his shikigami creating skill is pretty handy. I guess he’s like this world’s version of Filo in the sense that he’s a giant talking animal. I’ve been enjoying exploring the world during these past few eps. It’s kind of interesting just learning about the culture and the political situations of this world. I’m eager to see what happens next week since they’re basically heading deeper into enemy territory. |
| Damm Filo sure ended up in the hands of a creepy looking dude. But man Chris is just adorable. The process of creating a shikigami was pretty cool. The result was pretty cute. Using Filo's suffering as a means to turn a profit that slaver really is despicable. But im soo glad that they managed to get Filo back. After that ordeal seeing her bond so easily with Kizuna and Chris was really nice. From the looks of things though they changed the part of Raphtalia going missing with Filo when they entered this world everything else is still the same. And annoying as it is for LN readers having her stay with Naofumi until the hourglass raid actually ended up making the narrative much more interesting so its a change that i actually like. On the other hand what is it with nobles and their overwhelming desire to harm others for personal gain don't they have something better to do with their lives sheesh. |

| No way was this 20 minutes, it was over in a flash. Enjoyed this episode a lot glad that they at least found Filo chan. Seeing Filo just lodged to Naofumi like glue the whole time was heartwarming to see, Filo suffered a lot, we can't even imagine how relieved she must be after getting back with Naofumi. Raph chan is really cute, Chris as well. They at least confirmed for us that Raphtalia is alive in that post-credit, she's been taken to somewhere, wonder where that is, looks really far TBH. Just 3 more episodes left, looking forward to how this season ends, we don't have to worry about more episodes, we should get Season 3 soon I think. 5/5. |

| A Fairly better episode.. This arc feels a lot more refreshing than the Big Ass turtle arc.. Seeing Filo-chan was painful but glad she got saved.. we heard a new OST in middle.. Raph chan is here huh.. guess it makes sense why people were worrying so much.. It would be a damn shame we never got to see such an adorable character.. |

| Finally Filo! Missed her. Raphtalia's shikigami was cute, but not as cute as she is. Ethnobalt's real form was cool though, I am a sucker for rabbits as cliche as that sounds. Rishia has grown as a character, the only great thing about this season. |

| Seeing Filo in the situation she was in was depressing as hell, but I'm glad that Naofumi and his group rescued her and put the scumbag owner in his place, too. =) Kizuna's shikigami, Chris, was pretty cute and it was nice to have Ethnobalt (I like his rabbit form) help Naofumi make his own shikigami in a form of a raccoon. Raph-chan was the perfect name for the cute creature, obviously. While Filo is now save with Naofumi, getting Raphtalia back looks likely to be a tougher challenge to overcome, not helped by the added mention of a katana hero. Going by the post-credit scene, I assume that where Raphtalia is being taken might be where the katana hero lives. Either way, I look forward to seeing what happens next. |

| Ah yes so this is how they patch up the difference from their candid work, got to say it's actually not too bad, many were probably freaked out and raged when lolitalia was in there 2 episodes ago, but all of the sudden things are looking good now xD And yes finally the introduction of raph chan-chan best grill into the series! RAFU!   also pretty interesting that naofumi was actually able to still see raphtalia's stats in there  |

| So they skipped the part of how they escaped with Filo and just let the criminal have a little taste of that lion shield? It felt very unsatisfying :/ I'm very glad Naofumi freed Filo from that nightmare. It was very hard to watch those thugs treat Filo like trash. Unforgivable! Raph-chan is the cutest shikigami tanuki I've ever seen, well I've already know from the manga but it's one of those smallest things you can just stare like forever and let the heart melt from cuteness! <3 |

| Great episode, though it was very frustrating to see that guy turning Filo into a slave fortunately they could save her, it's great to have her back! I like the Raph shinigami for Naofumi though I'm very worried about Raphtalia especially with what they showed at the end, they better save her as well soon |

| Oh boy, they totally rushed it again... One of the highlights of this episode should have been Naofumi snapping and torturing the people holding Filo hostage. And Raph-chan joining in on the fun. But the studio made the scene family-friendly and it was over in 30 seconds... That's not enough time for a highly emotional scene! In comparison the scene in S1 when he lost to Motoyasu and thought he lost Raphtalia for good was over 5 minutes long. Unlike season 2, season 1 didn't have a 'speedrun' tag under the genres! Other problems with this episode: - It's mentioned that people around them can't understand Rishia because she speaks a different language than this world's language. But somehow in a previous scene people didn't have a problem understanding her when she spoke. - Raphtalia can't knock out 1 guard, or run away from him. Meanwhile she was soloing 20 in the previous episode. - When Raphtalia got captured Kyo mentioned he's going to experiment on her. But instead of using the dragon hourglass to teleport her, they're taking her in a carriage to a totally different place than the lab. The studio shot itself in the foot by changing Naofumi's and Raphtalia's separation from the LN. Now they can't write her back in a logical manner into the story, only with plot holes. - In episode 8 Filo's status screen showed "Humming Fairy". Episode 9 it showed "Filorial". |
| Lol. They're like ok let's make this little creature out of Raphtalia's hair so that we can find her We need to find Filo too but eh who cares about that. It's okay though cause we will coincidently walk right into her after being in a new town for about 5 minutes. |
| Raph-Chan is by all intends and purposes Naofumi and Raphtalia's child lol, I like a lot that world, it is a shame Naofumi wasn't summoned there, it has better races, better characters, the heroes seem at the very least interesting and I love the fact that a lot of those Vassal weapons and more like tools, not necessarily for fight but they have their uses, it makes them really interesting just how Kizuna used hers to attack humans with an indirect approach, although looking at the wiki I guess I'm confusing some actual legendary weapons and vassal weapons, translation should have been vassal tools if it were up to me. And man, it can't be said enough but that damn turtle arc, they should have made it like an ova or something like it, it harmed season 2 so much, I know it lead to them traveling but idk they should had come up with a way to shorten it as much as possible instead, 3 episode max. |

Just because Kyo wants to make Raphtalia his plaything, it doesn't mean he had the time for it right at the moment. Kyo could summon her whenever he wants. The place he is taking her is meant to be very secure because it prevents the use of powers there. |

| It looks like we see the return of the rage (wrath) shield and Naofumi seems pissed. I'm hoping we get to see some of the badassery(?) we saw from him in S1 |
