We all know a remake is unlikely. But some people are still talking about wanting one, so I’m curious how many people would even watch one at this point, especially since a lot of people didn’t care for the manga ending either.

people would definitely watch it even if just to see if it is also shit, however I doubt anyone would go out of their way to pay for it so it wouldn't be successful. either way I doubt one will ever happen, and if it does it'll be far into the future

i would definitely watch a remake but it’s unlikely to get one any time soon. at some point in the next 10 to 20 years i can see toho to pick this up and remake it but idk man it’s way too long until then and i’m scared of the future as is.

I believe anything is possible, but that’s not the point. This question is purely hypothetical and just for fun. :)

Unfortunately in this situation it’s almost not even a chance at all. Season 1/Early manga chapters were incredible, hopefully the mangaka is able to make more great works.

Best case scenario is The Promised Neverland is able to act as inspiration for another work.

I know. This question is entirely hypothetical. And the question was IF it happened, not will it happen.

Well then hypothetically if it was as good as the current version’s grace field arc then sure, but for me and most others a remake wouldn’t be too excited unless I heard people raving about it,

As much as I would love it, season 2 of that anime was not it. I had to force myself just to finish it 😀.

Let's not forget that Promised Neverland had the potencial to be one of the best in the genre, had they stick to the manga story. And maybe more important to this thread, was VERY popular.

Personally, I would love to watch a remake since I really wanted to see those parts of the manga animated. And still maintain, as I said above, a big respect and admiration for the original story/development.

Then again, the chances of this happen are very remote since CloverWorks butchered the show so bad that many people lost faith and interest.

Well, I didn't like the manga after the fifth vol anyway. I think all magic stuff was unnecessary

I’d definitely watch it. You never know if it’ll come tho. Maybe it’ll get the good ole FMAB treatment like when FMA went with an original story.

But it’ll mean getting rid of whoever was responsible for TPM’s second season … b/c I doubt they’d want to admit their mistake like that.

The audience might be smaller, but people would definitely still watch it. That said, there’s probably no way a remake will ever happen.

I would definitely watch a remake even though I don't really think s2 is saveable since they would need to change a lot, not only pacing but also storywise for everything to make sense again.

I would— 100%. This show showed a lot of promise and the disappointment that is Season 2 was very upsetting. I just want manga to get a proper adaptation.

I would definitely watch a remake of the last season- S1 was so good and I was so disappointed with S2, I would love to think if they redid it, they’d do it properly as I’ve heard the manga is great

Nah, probably the vast majority who watched the season 2 already read the manga because of it so I don't think many people would watch it.

plus season 2 has already somewhat spoiled the ending.

but this is just my personal opinion.
yes.

I meant one year not years, spelling mistake.
Still, it's pretty much unlikely to happen, they did not make good money so they won't be able to pay for an remake.
yes.

Honestly, if I could go back and have watched season 1 without watching S2, I’d prob have a way better opinion on the anime. But if they remade it to where S2 was on the same, or above, the level of S1 then I’d definitely watch it imo

I personally loved season 2, so no. I dont get why people hate season 2 like yea it's way different than the manga but if you're that worried about it,just read the manga instead. But many people would watch it.

Yeah, I would watch one. It's my favorite franchise so I would always give it a second chance. I would just go in with a sober awareness of just how far it could descend, and hope that any remake would handle it better and do the manga justice. I'm sure plenty of people who swore they'd never watch anything TPN related again would succumb to curiosity and watch a remake. Still fingers crossed even if the chances are the remotest of remote.
