Another good ep. History is not as important as I thought it would be, but the storyline is getting more and more interesting. I wonder how will the battle end

This one is so slow to be subbed that I cannot even begin to talk about it as it seems like I need at least 10 more episodes before doing so. The good thing is I am saving up the last four subbed episodes and look forward to more of the same as the fansub group looks to be picking it up a bit and I for one, thank them lots. So until I have a few more under my anime belt, I am laying low and hoping Sasuke will pull a fast one. I do miss Milord though. <3

Potentially the best out of 13 episodes of the series. Loved the OST when Furuta found out the real culprit and fought with all his might. This is one of the few unique series in anime hisotry

I am currently rewatching this, show, my goodness, this show just gets better with every rewatch. Like age old whisky tea.

The first time I watched this, I thought Sasuke was fighting with all his might in anger. Wrong! To paraphrase "Am I not deserving of such an emotion?!", "Why do I feel no resentment to milord?" and "So overwhelming is his character!" You also noticed that he hesitates, his life is put in danger by each wave of soldiers, he removes the threat to his life and becomes dumbfounded on the battlefield everytime until the next threat presents itself.

Now if any of you are watching Hyouge mono, this rare criminally unpopular gem, I am assuming you have watch loads of episodes about the Sengoku period and of course the aftermath of the Tokugawa Shogunate, this is hardly a surprise.

I am amazed about how this work of fiction weaved in the importance of Akechi Mitsuhide's philosophical legacy unto his predecessor Tokugawa. I am also dumbfounded about how

The reason why Sasuke can't bring himself to hate Hideyoshi is because Hideyoshi is himself the protege of Nobunaga! Nobunaga respects ambition and power. Hence why, even on the throes of death, he offered his own blood as a final tea ceremony to Hideyoshi, almost like a blessing for his subjugation of the realm!

While Tokugawa eventially with much patience will supersede Hideyoshi and become the true and longer lasting Shogunate that carries on Akechi Mitsuhide's pacification of the realm! The only dodgy part is Tokugawa later following (history) Nobunaga's desire to conquer the Ming mainland and India!

Poor Furuta :( That couldn't have been a worse time to learn of the truth.

This was the most powerful episode so far. I thought Sasuke was going to die. I knew something was fishy about Hashiba, but I didnt recognize him as the one who killed Nobunaga since I take like 3 week breaks from each episode I watch. But damn, watching that change of emotions in Sasuke unfold was crucial.

I hope we see more of him and black dude working together. That's the real power team.

Loving this show. The fight scene here for example was so much better than your average fight scene. Tired of the scenes where c1 punches c2, or c2 hits c1. They consistently reference emotional details from earliar episodes that just fit. His inner turmoil over whether to fight for his dead lord nobunaga, or fight under hideyoshis banner for the sake of his dream of being a lord was amazing to watch.

Thank goodness for Yasuke to reveal Hideyoshi was the one that slain Nobunaga. Sasuke took it otherwise than expected.

The best episode as of yet, Yasuke telling Sasuke that Hideyoshi killed Nobunaga-sama and the scene afterwards were just perfect, the ost was also really good after all. 4.5/5
