Looks like the bad production finally caught up. Sad, this was at the very least super enjoyable before the dip.

YAY for CloverWorks finally clobbering on their own madness, Did anyone in the studio not learn what happened of Wonder Egg Priority the same period last year?

Totally expected considering the CloverWorks took 3 anime this season. Same thing as what happened last year with Wonder Egg Priority when Horimiya, Promised Neverland and Wonder Egg Priority was all airing at the same time.

Apparently not, but let's hope we don't need to wait 1 year for the last episode

I’m very worried about the production issues that will undoubtedly affect the quality of this show and how it will affect the morale of the (already overworked) animation staff.

If you notice my screenshots that were taken from their own website, the amount of shows CloverWorks is working on, that are planned to be released this year alone, is crazy.

While it’s not the best show this season, one of my reasons why I keep up with Tokyo 24-ku is because I want to show my support for original works. Good stories don’t have to be tied to a publisher’s IP after all. However, due to the numerous obligations CloverWorks has to fulfill, something in me says that this show was compromised from the start and did not get the attention it needed.

you do know that dubbing is done before the 1st episode of a show ever airs on TV in Japan right?

those folks' work was finished months ago. if anybody caught the 'vid... it doesn't matter right now... it would only have mattered if they got sick while the recording was going on.

this delayed episode is probably just the same issues as Clover's previous problem-child 'WonderEggPriority'.

did they keep the same timeslot? was there anything said about showing the delayed episode and then that week's scheduled episode back to back?

Same time slot.

Production seems to have fallen part, there's no way they can air 2 episodes back to back. The other two Cloverworks anime are getting the better treatment because of Umehara and Fukushima while this got the short end of the stick.

well, originals don't always hit it huge. no matter the 'big names' attached to other titles i would imagine ClovWork would put more manpower and budget into two shows with 'known fanbase' vs something they came up with in-house or bought from some unknown-no fame screenwriter. ;)

they bought the work of that live-action TV cop drama writer's first ever foray into anime for 'WEP' probably on the fact that the guy had been doing shows for more than a few decades.

ah, my bad, just looked up https://vndb.org/s222 Shimokura, Vio... apparently he's been working at Nitro+ for a while as a visual novel scenario writer. hmm. ok. well i guess he's got the chops to write scripts and series compositions for '24-ku'.
