Not going to lie, watching Brocken Meyer was rather entertaining this episode for his personality. He's probably one of the overlooked characters in this show so I'm glad he's getting some relevance this arc.

Other than that, it's still the usual Shaman King shenanigans. Next episode should be fun.

That scene with Jeanne was so adorable <3
I'm honestly just enjoying all this new content that wasn't in the original anime. A very fun experience.

My favorite detail about Brocken has to be how his little Lego nubs have "Hao" written on them in the same fashion as the Lego logo. Hao has this too, and it's so adorable.

Also, watching this episode right after watching JoJo really made it feel as if Horohoro's dad is a stand user.

Pretty good episode! Poor Jeanne didn't get thanked lmao. I am really loving Ren's character development though and how he's trying to atone for his past mistakes.

>Grab some wood
>Punch Bill
>Make raft
>Give lowkey advice to son
>Refuse to elaborate
>Leaves
Horohoro's dad is pretty based.

Let's go Horohoro, time to fuck up Legoman.

Welp, if there's one thing that Yoh cannot run away from, it's Anna.

But otherwise, the Epilogue arc is the major arc to define the 2nd half of Hiroyuki Takei's manga, and everyone is scattered because of Yoh's withdrawal. Tao Ren being taken in by the X-Laws to do "purification" to save his life, and he was resurrected just like that. As much as I want to believe in Tao Ren, this "character development" (if you can call it that) feels kinda quirky.

Even the groups that Yoh and the others have fought before, they're clearly defenseless against Hao's minions, starting with the Legoman Blocken Meyer. SUre, Horohoro's father Gororo could've helped him get out of this rut, but it's every man/woman for him/herself with a powerful Over Soul as a spirit ally in exchange for the lesser number of Furyoku.

It was a mediocre episode really, I just didn't feel anything, and it's back to rushing the pacng once again.

Of course Ren got resurrected without major problems. The character development he's receiving is quite good tho.

My favourite scene this episode was probably how Bason noticed that Marco's expressions betray that he's getting tired from ofJeanne's shit and would prefer her to do exactly as he wishes.

Ren is finally back to life and his conversation with Yoh was nice. Thou feel bad for Jeanne, poor girl didn't get thanked at all. Also Horohoro was quite cool at the end there.

Kinda took the grunginess from the original. Has a modern sheen about it that bugs me. I may re-read the manga...

This episode was great and all. but in the end i don't feel the plot moved much. why they don't just continue the tournament??

anna killed yoh, as promised. yoh forfeited the shaman fight, as promised. ren had revived, as promised. my only complain is, yoh is the main character of the series "shaman king", and i don't see it possible to for him to stay out of the tournament and breaking his dream this fast. there's gotta be something.

Anna, no physical touch, didn't even use mana and Yoh's K.O'd
Damn, Macro's pissed at Jeanne's actions, resurrecting Tao Ren and invoking the tale of sleeping beauty. lol Lyserg/
Tao, with repeated memories of murdering Chrome, is all like "I didn't asked to be brought back" but comes back to Yoh, nonetheless.

Horohoro gathers the guardian ghosts of the other icemen in his next bout outside the official Shaman Fight. Horohoro's dad says he's going away but his presence is too powerful and leaves a clue for his son.

The kiss bit was hilarious. But the foryuko measurement makes no sense.
