| Team Hana-Gumi turned into waitresses now lol. Cute. Got some interesting storytelling about Anna this episode. Pleased to also see more of Matamune in the show and the focus of his character. Seems she had a cold personality back then too lol, literally. |

| This. This was the arc I wanted to see animated the most. I loved this episode and I can't wait for the next one. |
| I've been waiting to see this animated for a very long time now, and it's just as good as I remember it. Matamune is great. |
| We finally start the long-awaited Ozoresan Revoir arc. Yoh's departure from the Shaman Fight in exchange for Iron Maiden Jeanne to save Ren, it's a dastardly decision in the making because of the "Power of Friendship" trope. But both Yoh and Anna's journey begins way before the Shaman Fight: 5 years back in 1995 at Izumo. Pretty funny that his grandpa Yohmei already found him a fiancée (which is of course Anna, meeting her in Ozoresan, Aomori), now that's a real shocker. The first impressions of both Yoh and Anna is just "die" LOLS BRUH. The split-tailed cat guardian spirit Matamune who's been serving the Asakura family also makes his first-ever appearance since the 2001 OG anime didn't really get that far ahead. The journey to find friends (but the fiancée first), as well as Tamao's training under Mikihisa, the Asakura family starts fearing for the worst with Anna coming into the picture. The first taste of the Ultra Senji Ryakketsu and the Over Soul, Yoh's story weaving is just getting started. |

| Those that have read the manga have been excited for this arc and I can see why, I am really liking this so far. It's nice to see Yoh's childhood and how he met Anna. Anna is ferocious even as always even when she was younger, all is right with the world. Matamune is really cool. He's been with the Asakura family for more than a thousand years, so I guess he has history with Hao. I guess Yoh's spirit of sword is like Matamune's oversoul, that's cool. Looking forward to the next episode. |

| Marco believes Yoh has an ulterior motive in accepting Jeanne's offer to save Ren in exchange for forfeiting. Oh so the cat in the outro is Matamune and the spirit ally of the whole family. Anna and Yoh have a rocky start. |

| this is certainly interesting story. like it so far. wonder what something new we gonna learn here. and though i don't care for that much, we had seen the new ending only one time. seriously? |
