| It's not Halloween but we got the cast dressed up in aquarium sea style outfits LOL. I love the pirate one tbh. Turns out, the event went well and the kids seems to have enjoyed their experience. I think it was a decent showcase of the aquarium spirit to get both the staff and its audience involved. Fun episode. |

| Last week we had a Kukuru's grill and relaxation resort episode, and today we got an episode with the aquarium staff dressed up as ... all kinds of stuff. Im not surprised that the Director was the one who agreed to that, he do seem like that kind of Director. But Kaoru needs more screen time that's for sure. Her cosplay idea was priceless lol. I liked the sentiment of this episode, that you dont necessarily need to like what you do at first or even know what you want to do in the first place, to eventually getting more used to doing something, and so grow to liking it. Thats work life for you. We ending with a cliffhanger ... she's going to do what ? |

| Umi-yan WTF!!!!! What happened to you??!!! LMAO The triplet mermaids was looking great and very beautiful, especially Fuuka. Unfortunately, the screen time of those mermaids was too short. Ocean-themed cosplay was a good and interesting event though. Udon-chan's dish was getting on the menu of the restaurant, congratulation! And, a surprising anniversary big project for Kukuru?? Congratulation! But a big job is waiting for you. |

| Welp no Halloween episode last week so we got a cosplay ep this week lol. The girls looked great and Shizu kun’s reaction to seeing his mom was so cute. For the most part, everyone had fun. But I’m worried about Akari-chan something seems off with her. |

| Well the planning of the new event went pretty well with one minor which was solved towards the end. There was a bit more focus on the other character this time which was nice, Kaoru being shy was also funny to watch. |
| I hope Akari get a full-time job. Umi-yan as Otohime is on another level over other characters cosplays. |

| An episode focused on Akari chan which was nice. The cosplay event was fun. Their cosplays looked great, specially the mermaids and assistant director's and Umiyan's. Also looks like Plankton got put in charge of the new area project. |

| We see in this episode a lot of akari chan that she don’t have something to do what she love i hope she’ll be fine. Everyone is cosplay a fish art how cool, in the end kukuru becomes the work she want. |

| The cosplay idea sure was an interesting one. It will certainly increase people's knowledge of the sealife while making it fun as well. Considering her base nature i can't imagine Kaoru being so amazed with a story though. But its nice to see that even she has a softer side to her as well. The expansion upon Akari was also appreciated as well. The event itself though sure proved to be pretty fun for the team. While the costumes all looked good on them in the end what counted was the fact that they were able to draw in more fans and in the process make Akari appreciate the beauty of sealife. The head of Marketing though looked more like a assassin though lol. But the next project is going to be the ultimate trial for Kukuru though considering its importance. |

| Ok, Marina surely has a thing for wearing hot outfits. And yes, definitely the perfect fit for Umi-yan. Assistant director-kun was even better haha. Was yet another enjoyable episode. After so much lightheartedness it's about time that things get serious for Kukuru again. She wanted to do attendant work, but putting her in marketing to get experience was needed. Development like that was expected. And I have a feeling that Gama Gama could tie in the new area in some sort of way. That's what I was hoping for at the beginning of this cour. |

| I must say, seeing Umi-yan being dressed up like Otohime made me crack up, but it still somehow suits him. XD I do like the focus on this episode being on Akari, the part-timer. It was good to see getting herself stuck in with helping to make the fish sticker in time for the special event, which does make me hope that she'll get a full-time job at Tingarla with her renewed passion. As for Kukuru, aside from the fish sticker mistake, her hard work so far during this second half of the series is finally starting to pay off as the assistant director tells her that she'll be in charge of a new area opening up in the aquarium soon. This will be tough for her, but I'm sure she'll go at it without regrets. =) Overall, this episode was really nice and I liked the cosplay outfits the staff were wearing, where Marina wins it for me in showcasing how goddamn hot she is with her midriff/navel bearing mermaid outfit, while Fuuka and Chiyu looked beautiful in their outfits, too. |
| Pretty nice episode. Feeling like your surrounded by a bunch of passionate people when you don't really know what you are doing yourself is definitely very relatable to a lot of people. At she was able to be kinda motivated by Kukuru's passion, but not to a more unrealistic sense where she would blow off her friend to work extra hours. A nice touch. |
| The part of Kukuru's boss appaering with his cosplay was so funny, hahaha. And, ngl, Marina, Fuuka and Haebaru were beautiful looking as mermaids.  |

| Hmm...a fish cosplay event idea from the part-timer Akari Maeda, but Assistant Director Suwa of course goes ham on full-timers doing the event. Regardless, it's nice to see a supporting character get the spotlight for even an episode. The idea of doing the work that you love the way that you do while having fun (while feeling miserable indefinitely), it really resonates Kukuru's inner-felt feelings while having that small Yuri moment with Fuuka. Marina is the same, and the ideas interconnect between the staff to have a cosplay that's interesting and not limited to just one category. I can understand Akari's worries because she's at a point where she's still undecided about her future, and where this work experience at Tingarla will help shape her beliefs. Even Kaoru wants in on the cosplay event very badly with her interest on fish, and the entire fish team got creative...except that Umi-yan being Otohime scares the living shit outta me, that was pretty funny, and it suits him. As for the others, the attendants kept their mermaid outfits and the staff don what's given to them. Assistant Director Suwa even tried out the part, and the pirate cosplay outfit certainly suited him. Nice episode. |

| I like the Akari focused episode. Glad she is liking the aquarium more. Umiyan had me rolling with his cosplay. Now Kukuru gets a huge job with handling the new area's opening. I hope at the end she opens Gama Gama back up as the director with Fuka and the others. |
| Oh, the penguin kid has been grown! Sharky got an underwater feeding treatment. Then, ah, a costume party for the whole aquarium gang. Ofc the fish team became the funny bunch with Kaoru's idea. Umiyan sure the funniest there. While the penguin team, for sure as a beautiful one with their trio mermaid and one little cute penguin. I like how the grumpy assistant director also joining up the costume party with those half-ass pirate costume, and one new fan has been acquired among them, with all of those hard works. Another nicely done sol working moment. Can't wait to see more of Kukuru face dealing with insanely huge project for the next week. Ganbare, Kukuru-chan! |

| Well, I enjoyed this episode a lot more than the last one. I believe it's because Chiyu's presence and role was kept to a minimum and the less she's in the series, the less I can try to feign absent-mindedness and just kind of forget she exists and focus on the other characters. Also, the costumes were all beyond adorable. Especially Kuuya as the green sea turtle, the mermaids, and Karin. Karin donning pirate attire was downright surprisingly dashing in a big way. I actually found this episode more relaxing than the last one. And it did put a little more of a spotlight on a lesser featured character. Despite enjoying everything depicted in the last episode in theory normally (lotions and massages, having some beer or other drinks, just sitting around BSing) whether doing them myself or watching them onscreen, the whole ongoing Chiyu saga just ruined it for me. This episode was a better shift away from that, but I'm still quite uncertain about the last quarter of this series (six episodes left, correct?), which is more uncertainty than I usually have in a predominantly SoL series, but then, most predominantly SoL series at least in their first season are usually shorter and only 12 or so episodes. So having it being a longer run I suppose raised the likelihood of other elements being incorporated into the creators' vision and those other elements are mostly the drama, which is less appealing in this series than the SoL because it works better for these characters and the light drama is alright but somewhat bland and annoying (especially if Chiyu is center stage). |
| Great episode! It was another wholesome and heartwarming episode. Honestly did not expect Akari's character to be like this, but I really liked it. It's normal for there to be people that do not really have something they really love or are passionate for or aspirations and goals and just go with the flow in life, so it's nice that the touched on that topic. This was almost right in time for Halloween, but close enough. The cosplays were really cute, the mermaid trio about to make me act up. Shizu-kun can't handle the beauty that is Fuuka, understandable. Also, Kaoru is underrated, she's absolutely adorable. Tomboys for the win. But Umi-yan is definitely undeniably best girl after this episode lmao. That post credits scene though, is it finally time for Kukuru's hardwork to pay off. Really looking forward to the next episode. |

| neat, I did not expect them to do cosplay stuffs. They make some kids happy with that sticker game, and also entertained visitors with that weird fish dance. lol Kukuru now in charge of something.. looks like Suwa has high expectations on things that she can do. looking forward to next week. |
| A nice episode with a focus on Akari. Interesting focus and delving deep into what how people find the work they love or fall in love with their work. And those mermaid dresses were beautiful. Especially Fuuka! We should've seen more of that! Wow, that ending scene. Final arc? |

| I did not expect Akari to be a part-timer and actually still studying in college. The mermaid costumes were pure bliss! Kaoru and Akari looked so good in the pirate costumes, while all the fish looked a bit silly. I was surprised that the Assistant Director was dressed up as a pirate as well. He has a new task for Kukuru and that's working on opening an extension of the Aquarium?? I wonder if this is the endgame for Kukuru. |

| What was this show about? I feel that we the audience and the producers have forgotten about what was it. What ever happened to the god deity that just served as a cameo figure? What happened to Fuuka as a main co-protagonist? Now it's all about Kukuru and her daily whining about not getting her way at work and Fuuka just being there as the friends that just nods and says IKR. This episode was supposed to be about Akari, but it still feels that Kukuru must step in and cause mayhem for her lousy attention to details so they have to work extra hours to craft stickers (they can have expensive custom made costomes on time, but they can't send templates for fish stickers on time?) Last episode with the massage session and now the more girly like damsels are wearing cocktail dresses at an event with plenty of kids? Even Sakura Quest had it's quirky and mandatory fanservice episode(s) but it had a strong 2nd cour with the cast fighting with tooth and nail on an uphill battle, but on Aquatope there isn't a sense of a bigger plot so far. And I know plenty of peeps will come up with hurr durr it's a SOL show that doesn't need a plot, but the fact that the first cour introduced various roadblocks for the two main protags to surpass, surely demand an equal treatment for the second part. |

Someone might have thought she was just a plot tool for what would be a Kukuru-only story, but I still remember the writer and their VAs talking about it as a girl meets girl story. |

| That was very very weird, in terms of character interactions and ideas. I felt very uneasy this episode. However the end of the scene Suwa, Tetsuji, looked so captivating and intimidating with his pirate cosplay I must say ! |

| This episode was really enjoyable. It feels good to see Chiyu getting along with everyone else like that. The cosplaying part was fun to watch. Marketing team was interesting. Penguin team looked really pretty. Kaoru's team was the most hilarious one XD Umi-yan is so nice that he kept the character ‘no-one wants to be’ for himself without realizing XD The others even tho they are disappointed they are at least lucky to have gotten the less embarrassing one XD When Eiji and Kai so randomly started doing that Hawaiian dance, that was hilarious XD |
| At first I thought Umi-yan was cosplaying as Jellyfish, but then I couldn't stop laughing after I found out it was princess Otohime XD He looked handsome though ^^ Loved the cosplay idea and enjoyed this episode very much! Well, my favorite is Hanasaku Iroha from their relatively well-known, big name Slice of Life series, and that is much more focused and cohesive than this in that sense. I can't speak about Sakura Quest as I haven't seen it, but SoL shouldn't have anything to do with it. Hanasaku Iroha is also a SoL. It's not like it's a 100% pure iyashikei. What is the general consensus on P.A. Works' other well-known SoL series? Isn't it somewhat a mixed track record? I know something like Glasslip was near-universally panned. |

Now I'm really thinking this should've been a single cour, as it feels like they are just dragging it out after Gama gama arc. |

| Another nice episode without much drama, fish cosplay and beautiful mermaids. Marina just looks perfect in everything, I laughed at the belly exposed version. Bonus points for little boy dressed as penguin complimenting his mum. I think Chiyu is happy when he is around at the job. It was unexpected that Kaoru brought up such a weird idea, but cool costumes. Akari is a difficult girl as well, not a surprise after all. It was not nice to see her so half assed about her part time job, especially after chief president asshole san approved of her marketing idea. She totally didn't care about it. And Kukuru has to do it again geez I also would prefer to take care of fishies instead of working under an asshole boss that he definitely is. I hope we can take a closer look at Akari's background story, though. I don't care if the vice chief suddenly becomes an honorable man. It's too late for repenting now, terrible behaviour from day 1, to hell with him, get eaten by the tigersharks! |
