| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- The curtain rises...on the climax. We're on the final stretch of this goody-two-shoes pirate journey. Everyone is on their way to the hidden calling of an island (that Eden is hidden somewhere in it), but the one nervous wreck that is Fena, as fearful as she is, she must lead the Goblun Hunters to the calling. Eden has this "Lost City of Atlantis" feel, in a place that feels very contagious to those who feel claustrophobic. Love the scenes where Yukimaru was helping Fena go down some cliffs, but she decided to do it herself, where else everyone gets a hint about their relationship. The true treasure of Eden (at least on the surface) is revealed, and it's heaps of a treasure trove of items from around the world in all ages. But this obviously could not be the end, and Shitan, Yukimaru and Fena find something even more mysterious: an altar (for Shitan) and a lattice stage (for Yukimaru and Fena) where past memories resurface of an aquatic world that will lead them directly to Eden: The Stairway to Heaven. Abel and his British Colony army are also onboard the island to find the same answers as Fena and the rest, and 2 episodes remain. Anything could still happen. |

| Damn that was a great episode, we finally got to the place where Eden supposedly is, and Fena again seems to know where she has to go and what she has to do, I expect the next two episodes to answer many questions. And that scene where Fena dances was so beautifully animated I haven't seen many others like this one before.  |

| A great episode. Fena and the crew found the city of gold. Her and Yukimaru's little interactions were cute. She also did a dance to reveal the stairs to Eden. |
| That island must had some protection bubble to have that tree ecosystem. Which by legend would be Atlantis, but have gold too so could pass as Eldorado. I was terrorized with the thought of going up all those stairs to go back to the boat. Shitan now is happy finding what he wanted, the Ame-no-Murakumo. With the introduction of Library of Alexandria, this anime became the greatest conspiracy anime I can think. Well 2 episodes to go. |

| This show is incredibly beautiful, it's unreal. I have no complaints about this episode other than the slow pacing and the lack of plot progress. Maybe it's because I'm impatient, but it feels like other than arriving and getting to that temple like building, not much has happened. The scene with Fena dancing and Yukimaru falling even more for her is the highlight of this episode. I would love for the last two episodes to have more romantic bits in them. |

| It's insane how good the directing in this show is considering it's original... The only thing that was missing for me in this series were in your face mystical elements, well I guess that is covered too now. |
| On one hand this episode has some of the most beautifully directed visuals I have ever seen in any anime, on the other hand I really don't know what's happening anymore. |

| Great and very beautiful episode. I really love the visuals and atmosphere of this episode, especially with the ancient mechanicals. I really looking forward to seeing what's waiting for Fena and Yukimaru in Eden. |

| Damn... that was one hell of an episode. Fena and her friends finally reached a mysterious island that popped out of nowhere and here on this island somewhere is Eden and the moment they reach there, the sight that was in front of them was treasures from all around the world and once again Fena's intuition kicked in and Fena's dancing at the moment was really beautiful as well. Looks like the show is about to reach its final stage since only two episodes are left if they don't decide to make a second season. Abel is here on the island as well. |

| Really missed them just goofing around. But man, what a beautiful episode. The episode also had everything I liked about the show, so it was great. Abel's bout to bust out and ruin the party next episode though, plus there's also Kei to worry about. Fena's dance was super beautiful, we were all Yukimaru in that scene and also, the ship is sailing and the others agree, let's fucking go. Looking forward to the next episode. Really curious about Cody though. |

| Will this have another season? Because it DESPERATELY need one. I see a lot of potential but everything feels so rushed that it just ends being a very underwhelming experience. Really wish I could care about these characters more. Or at the very least care about the adventure. |

| So the climax begins with Fena finding Eden. At first we thought it was a place that holds the world's treasure, but in reality Eden is in a completely different place. That scene where Fena was dancing was beautiful and well animated. |

| Does anyone else feel like the pirates will come back for the finale? I dunno, it didn't look like they contributed much to the overall plot otherwise. It's as if something was missing from this climax or it came too fast. Maybe there will be a season 2 to further develop this base that has a lot of potential. |

| Glad that the ending of OP won't be something like this. Well, there's still some hidden things in the unknown island. The place ''Eden'', the land of the gods is up there. I must say, the soundtrack was phenomenal. Visual-wise, pretty beautiful. Well, looking forward for the grand fight with Abel. That is going be epic. |

| Wow! This episode was something all right. I am not quite sure where to start. Well, first of all, the music remains my favorite part. We had like 3 new vocal tracks from Yuki Kajiura in this episode alone, and that dancing scene was visual and auditory perfection. A few nitpicks. First of all, when they thought that the books might have been the lost Library of Alexandria, I am pretty sure that the Alexandrian Library would only have had scrolls, not books. But perhaps they were mistaken either way and it wasn't that library. Alternatively, there might have been a lot of scrolls there as well that we couldn't see. Either way, it's a little weird that they would note it. Perhaps I missed something. Additionally, the whole island, while majestic and cool, sort of stretches the limits of believability. Like, is this all some super magic or something? This still needs to be explained before the end of the season. Another thing, Abel could have just followed Fena the entire time, There was no reason to kidnap her from the ninjas when he could have just used them to find the island, which he ended up doing either way. It's a common trope for the good guys to go through all of the hurdles with the enemy following them and not having to go through any of it, but I don't like the way it was done here. All in all, I still don't really know how this will all end. They sort of just arrived at the island without any notice, which I think was a mistake to do like that, and then spent the whole episode traversing the place, but it's fine i guess. We are at the island now for the climax. So hopefully the show will be able to delivery a satisfactory resolution with its remaining two episodes which doesn't leave too many plots threads unexplained. |

| This episode visually was absolutely gorgeous. From the island rising from the ocean and the walk through the island's many different terrains, it's an absolutely stunning place to behold. I loved the touch of Karin mentioning the Great Library of Alexandria, another great piece of World History. Now Fena's dance was something else. It was gorgeously animated and it looks so elegant while also being the key to enter Eden. I love Yukimaru's face just looking bewildered of what was happening right in front of him. I don't think he'll see a better sight than that. Now I really wonder what Eden will be like... Now the part that put this beautifully animated episode all together was the soundtrack in my opinion. Yuki Kajiura absolutely nailed it once again.. It was a feast to the ears the whole way through. Simply amazing. |

| Mother of all historical crossovers. This show just went on a whole new level. All those treasures from around the world and the Land of Eden next. Don't tell me I was the only one who was waiting for a certain ZASHU to appear. All these talks about a magical land and yet we have to see any magic. Next episode is gonna decide the weight of this show. |

On the whole I have a more positive impression of this series than negative (I don't rate anything officially until it's over and I've fully completed it, but after having seen 10 episodes of a 12 episode season/series, I'll probably end up rating it around a 7 when all is said and done unless something unforeseen radically changes positively or negatively before the ending, for context). | The dancing scene was amazing honestly, mostly because of the music but the movements were clean & beautiful Though I guess it was the calm episode before the storm : I'm wondering if some characters from the Goblins will die in the potential battle. |

| Oh wow this episode was really beautiful. Obvs the latter part was the most interesting and I absolutely loved how Fena's dancing was animated (v visually pleasing for me) + the music accompanying the scene. The part where she held Yukimaru's hand signifying that she wanted to go with him to Eden was really cute. Different from the usual where the key character usually goes on alone. Can't wait to see what happens next episode! Though I do mostly have praises for this show I'm a little bit confused about some things hopefully they get explained in the last 2 episodes lol |

The Japanese national treasure the samurai group was looking for, apparently. The Lost Ark is just there to add more "epicness". |
