| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Welp, that's no ordinary adventure on a ship. Joe finds himself into trouble again somehow because he's Joe. It looks like they got ambushed by a pirate ship with crews including Divermon (one of the classics back from Adventure) I guess this is Digimon's way of showcasing a sea adventure in the digital world. Not too shabby. |

| The same hot springs group journeys together with Joe and Gomamon. Surprisingly enough, Mimi and Palmon are to their rescue together with the Digimon School group, but a pirate chief? What is this, Digimon's version of One Piece? But I've gotta admit, the one who calls himself Shogun, Olegmon, is tough, but sensible. All Olegmon needs is food for the pirate ship for its remnants to survive, and Joe offers a proposition: a battle between them and Olegmon. The real power being Vikemon, and I wished the fight lasted a lil' longer, just came and gone too fast. Any episode better without Taichi is a plus. |

| Lets goooo Joe episode finally. That shot with he and Gommamon facing down Olgemon whilst Joe has the parka draped off his shoulders was dope. Only a few more episodes left, looking forward to Ghost game but Ima miss adventure remake. Feel like there’s no way everything gets wrapped here |

| Meanwhile at Toei Studios: -Boss, we forgot to put Taichi on today's episode... -YOU WHAT? AT THE END, AT THE END. PUT TAICHI ON THE END OF THE EPISODE NOW, OR YOU'RE FIRED!!! Good episode. Joe and Mimi are probably the only kids whose personalities are not equal to a stone on this version and we got both on this episode. And I love Gomamon and Palmon voices. |

| Vikemon is my favourite Mega of the original season so at least he looked cool when he used Arctic Blizzard. I think this was one of Joe's better episodes but it definitely feels like they really aren't taking Joe seriously in this series. Comic relief has a place in stories but his episodes are so over the top sometimes. |
| Good episode but far too late. Also ENIAC damn it we almost had a Tai free episode until he just wanders in out of nowhere twenty seconds before the credits. Six episodes and two megas to go. Maybe next week we actually see the villain next week. |

| Finally an actually good episode without Tai- *the final 20 seconds* Goddammit! Aside from that, Joe didn't seem useless this time and actually resembled his 1999 counterpart. Also the digievolution sequence was neat enough and the animation for the most part didn't disappoint. |

| Finally an episode that i can enjoying it. Not bad for Joe episode. Wow No Taichi and Agumon in this episode and they coming out in the end. Lmao But I'm really glad they didn't bring Taichi and Agumon from the beginning. |

| I was si happy for a whole episode wthout Tai, I would like to hear the reasoning why they need to turn this anime into the Tai show. Plot twist: Those are all different Tais. |
| DAMN IT Tai still showed up at the end....but this time it was after Joe took care of business, so no Tai cheat code this time. Joe earned it all on his own so that counts for something. |

| Olegmon a whole weeb. Wdym you're a shogun lol The writers are trolling us at this point having Taichi appear at the very last minute for no reason lmao. The mega evolution sequence still meh at best. Oh well... 6 more episodes. Wonder where this is all going. |

| No Jormungandr or Surtr? I'm disappointed, but it was still so cool to see Olegmon again. He was my favorite Death General in Xros Wars. I like Vikemon's design. The obligatory Taichi. |
