| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- HEH, just as is in WotaKoi, sumika once again delivers a presentable OP. The Bishounen leader Sotoin is stupid, but beautifully stupid. Anyone wanna hang out with lolicon Nagahiro who has a first grader for a fiancé? Dojima being targeted, and thankfully Hyota's track-and-field expertise came into play. Such beautiful long legs, no wonder's he's called the Adonis. Being a divorced child is not easy though. Onward to continuing to find the star that Dojima has seen in her 4-year-old young memories 10 years ago, it wasn't a star, but a satellite, and a military one at that. So the truth is pursuited as such in outer space, hidden in plain sight, and only the Bishounen Detective Club knows it well. Nagahiro going all that Q&A-ing in Rakugo with the explanation is a feature that only you'd get in specialized shows of NisiOisin's ingrained style. But wow, disguising Doujima as a tomboy, she fits into the Bishounen detective figure well. Sotoin's suit like a certain Hatsune Miku with the blue hair and double ponytail, yeap. Doujima's "wanted" status even goes to a woman in shades who manages to knock her unconscious, who is she though? |

| Okay, SHAFT. Stop flexing those animation muscles. LMAO, It's so good. Mayumi getting tailed was quite creepy but got rescued. The detective skills of the boys club are quite substantial. Looks like what Mayumi thought of a star at age 4 was actually a military satellite that was shot down. So, that case is closed, I guess. Understandable enough, she was scared of being kidnapped after that incident but thanks to the Pretty Boys Detective club being on her side, she's at ease. I wonder who was that woman at the end? |

| pretty cool episode, wasn't interested at first but this one definitely intrigued me. lots of very nice developments with the story and characters, production quality staying amazing as well, can't wait to see where this goes. also, didn't know hatsune miku was in this anime lol |
| Manabu was looking oddly similar to a certain someone lol. So Nagahiro's a lolicon, or they say so, based either way. I absolutely loved both the OP song and its visuals, didn't expect to hear sumika here. |

| sumika and a SHAFT opening is defintiely the weirdest combo I've had to take in. It just felt so odd to experience. Both the visuals and the song are solid individually but together.... just doesn't fit right. It's like wearing clothes that just don't fit or feel right when you wear it. |
| The OP is marvelous! They really out did themselves! It seems my theory that each book will be adapted in 3 episodes might end up being correct! Although I could see this book taking a 4th episode if they chose to include more of the inner-dialogues. I was a bit disappointed that the comments about the "Good vs Bad Kids" didn't make it into the anime, but whatever it's only like 2 sentences tops. I think SHAFT is doing pretty good so far! I'm really looking forward to seeing some of the future events get animated! |

| Certainly going in an interesting direction story-wise. I have no idea where this show will go now that the MC is being chased by the government, but I would assume it blows over and she ends up joining the club. The visuals still look great. The editing can be a little off sometimes and I’m not referring to the Shaftian style. |
| Yo, that OP looked and sounded amazing. Great episode! Liked it even more than the first episode which was great as well. Was wondering why some dudes were chasing out, but towards the end it made a lot of sense. She was witness to some government fuckery, I wonder why they only started chasing her now though. Never would have expected the star she was looking for to actually be a satellite. Ah yes, can't have a NISIO work without a lolicon lmao. I wonder how they're going to deal with the government though. Jesus Christ, Mayumi in disguise though. And we also got Hatsune Miku over here. Godbless the producers who chose Sakamoto Maaya to voice Mayumi. If I close my eyes I can hear Shinobu again. Really looking forward to the next episode. Is that hot chick at the end Nagahiro lmao, please no. |

| I wasn't completely sold on the first episode, but this second episode Shaft went absolutely nuts and a lot of Monogatari-style-directing nostalgia hit me like a truck. Nio Ishin's wordplay and dialogue is so good too, super happy with how the series is turning out. Can't wait for more! |

| Every frame of this anime is just stunning to look at, and the story and dialogue are so quintessentially SHAFT in their weirdness that watching this anime is a surreal experience. Even if the story because absurd, it will be beautifully absurd. |

| That OP, I was vibing with it till the end. Really, she wanted to tell the police about something she saw when she was 4. How can this be your first thought. One would just be like “OHH °Д°” after learning that truth and take their time to process... I'm sure those stalker like people are a completely different case because them being after her because of that 10 years old incident wouldn't make sense. Even if it was true, taking out someone who is clearly a harmless commoner still wouldn't make sense. Anyway, I liked their word play in this episode too. |
