| So we got an explanation on how paradis got inside information on Marley. Hange was a blessing this episode, as she was freaking out over any kind of innovative stuff those volunteers brought with them. Man, these flashbacks of Sasha hurt, especially the moment when Eren shot that rifle and then they cut to Sasha getting shot D: That one hurts the most. Very dialogue heavy, but honestly we needed this information, cause that 3 year gap was raising so many questions and we got some answered now. We get to see Armin talking to Annie as well, damn have not seen that crystal since S2, it's been a hot minute! |

| really liked seeing the characters animated by MAPPA pre time skip. hurt seeing sasha again, was sad to see mikasa at her grave TvT only pain. it was nice to really see them happy again and smiling and stuff, eren still got that fuchi face though, never seems to fade. we finally see historia too, looks almost exactly like WITs but i cant wait to see her post time skip. overall a good episode for some backstory, eren seems real shady i don’t even know how to explain it. like when armin said he doesn’t know who he is anymore, i kind of feel like armin. eren feels so distant, i’m kind of starting to dislike him a bit. peace doesn’t seem like an option, that’s not a surprise but still disappointing. so sad to see what’s happened to our gang, not so full of life and hope anymore :( |

Hold on, Can't wait to the next battle I hope there was improvements on animation.I feel sad, that Sasha is died but there was more coming. Stock a more tissue and just chillin for the next episode and waiting for new chapter release of manga. |

| Nicely episode. Some off-model shots here and there, hopefully they fix the tatakae scene in BDs since it's such an iconic panel. Looking forward to next episodes as I found them very interesting in the manga. And I think I have been traumatized by Armin lmao. I can't bear to hear him or watch him anymore. I just wanna punch the screen. |

| i was v curious about what happened in the four years between s3 and s4 so i'm glad this ep has cleared things up a bit more!! seeing the flashbacks with everyone was sweet, seeing them all younger and happier. i really love the jean/connie/sasha trio, i'm so upset about sasha :( poor baby, the scenes at her grave were touching as well, when connie said half of him is missing :(((((( but hange and levi introducing the marleyan ships to the island was kind of hilarious, i missed seeing hange act all wacky like she used to and levi trying to be all cool dsfkjlfjd i love their dynamic i love the way this show has gone in terms of its mood, especially when it comes to eren. it's far more interesting to see him become cold and almost resigned and dark, the contrast in his thought process vs armin and mikasa's is much more obvious now - and the way his shot cut to sasha's bullet was really effective, because he is indirectly responsible for her death happening ooooh parallels! also i don't particularly like gabi (even though i can understand that she's totally brainwashed) and it looks like she's going to go absolutely insane with her need for revenge lol |
| I thought it was interesting how the Citizens of Paradis were like children when they learned about the outside world. Even seeing a Dark Skinned person through them for a loop, I actually liked the approach they took for that. Man the Sasha scenes were sad thats for sure. Oh Shit I thought Armin was talking to Falco and Gabi but he was talking to ANNIE!!! That's interesting! |

| Man Sasha's death really hits hard, specially after that mini back story. That room scene at the end with Pyxis was awesome, the way he was careful about that meeting was legendary. Liked how smartly the dark skin concept was introduced, felt organic and natural, not forced like Hollyweird does with everything nowadays. Anyways whole episode was epic, the whole dialogue and interactions in this episode was great. Also the music they chose for certain scenes was spot on, this OST gonna be awesome when it gets released. |

| Starting this episode i am an anime only, which i think might make me see some of the things in a more positive way. Although i didnt post any comment last episode (i only seen it today) i hated sasha sense the beginning, so neither the last one nor this one made me necessarily care about her death, but the interactions between characters in this episode were actually pretty good tbh. The animation was pretty lacking but the art was pretty good like usual. An overall good episode, again, i dont care about sasha at all, but the character questioning themselves felt a lot more natural than last weeks episode, which felt a lot more forced in my view. |

You're comparing fan colored manga art that fans can take as much of their time as they want with compared to a studio who likely only had a small amount of time in comparison. If you are going to compare, use the original colorless source material. |

Aw Nicolo having a crush on Sasha, I smiled at that blush lol. Compelling episode, like how the show just leaves all these options and choices open for what is the right thing to do here to free them of the constant threat of Marley. Am finally glad Eren is getting a hair cut never liked his long hair look. I think they should have left Gabi behind, and kept Falco, let him talk to Eren now please. |

| @BlakexEkalb I mean, I wouldnt go that far and label him things, but his comparison is really fucking dishonest. A comparison should be used with the original source material and a decent quality screen grab of the episode. Not that hard to make an actual honest comparison. |

| The symbolism of when Eren shot his rifle at the range, cutting to Sasha's death was genius. In the end, it was completely Eren's fault that they had to engage in the first place. The corruption of his outlook is showing more and more in his actions and it will only end badly for everyone involved. |
