What to say about this anime... it's amazing, the way in performs it's function talking about topics so talked about these days as racism, poverty, discrimination and even depression, and it's done in such an admirable way and in a way spectacularly suffering and sensitive. The characters have their own dramas, the story changes evolved and even if it's the same thing as fighting with machines it's much more than that, it's fighting yourself, like Shin himself does in his final fights, it's fighting with ghosts of their companions. Lena fights against an entire republic just to help these people she barely knows and who were just twrown into a battlefield, but she doesn't know it and she thinks she's their good doer while she doesn't really try to do something significant and just keeps talking but never putting "hands on" until she have several buckets of cold water thrown over you to realize and finally start doing things and risking yourself.
