| Fate has so many anime series. The franchise is known for having produced series where only game fans could fully appreciate -even understand- the plot. I'm glad Azur Lane anime, even if less epic, are easier to follow. AND CUTE GIRLS *-* |

The original anime is original and only "implies" shikikan in the audience, while this show is an adaptation of canon manga and directly mentions shikikan. |

| Imo yes. As I wrote in 4-koma's review, comedy is based on character's quirks and they get absolutely no introduction, as it is assumed reader/watcher already knows the universe. You probably could enjoy it for cutness and SoL heatwarming fun, but it's far from full potential this anime offers. |
