| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Watched this episode due to Netflix dumping ALL episodes at once, so it's easier to catch up, and watching not in Eng Sub but multi-language instead. With that said, a formal introduction into the Ingress app (which for all intensive purposes) and its powers, which are hindsight by Episode 1 of the 2 camps, Enlightened and Resistance. And the XM power itself backed by the fact that all users have what's known as "Sensitive", people with different powers, yet are strengthened when projected in the space of the XM. Still pretty much a cat-and-mouse chase for Makoto and Sarah as they try to run away from the Resistance agent, chose the Enlightened side out of fear and that sets the basis for the story to follow. With that said, everyone is hot on their toes, and nowhere is safe for the both of them. Got a little backstory for Sarah via Makoto's Sensitivity for how she became to be in the first place, and thwarting the evil organization's plans under the same notion. Great episode for setting the pacing of the series to follow. |

| I have watched this since all the episodes seem to be available in one of the languages I speak now (German, could not find English though). Seems at least interesting enough for me to continue watching. Redrided I had to drop after episode 1. Going to watch at least episode 3 here later. I don't expect tooo much though. Seems they put "too much" into this anime. Lots of setting/background stuff ... having it kept simpler would have been better I think. Different factions ... different chars that suddenly meet. And then instead of feeling like a game adaption if feels even like the chars inside the anime are playing a game. :D (At least that app on the smartphone where the police guy had to chose a faction ... felt weird.) I guess the plot will fail by introducing new stuff every few episodes and not managing to find a good ending/solution to this. (Too rushed or unsatisfying explanations near the end.) |
| Still not and probably will not be a fan of the CGI but in general the story is progressing decently. |

| Yeah I can't get on board with how this premise is playing out so I think this a drop for me. |
| The CGI doesn't bother me, and the first episode seemed interesting, but now it just seems like an ad for a video game, dropped half way through this episode. |

| Dang that sucks that they chose opposite side of resistance because Jack is so cool. Was very interested in episode 1 now my interest falls. How can they run so much without tiring haha. |
