| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Meeting even more races, and having a party to fire things up before the pre-race? A real fun time here. Love how explained some details on the race. Now we've met all the cast, it's great to see some racing begin like how it was in the first episode. Can't wait to see how next week goes. |
| This episode was a blast. Getting to see some new racers, having all the cars introduced, that sick gunfight between TJ and the other dude, makes me really excited for whats in store next episode. |

| The party was wild XD, I like how the starting point selection ended up in a brawl. Finally the long awaited race begins and I'm really hyped for this. Thou looks like the people behind the race doesn't want it to end well. I mean that is a lot of prize money. So their goal is to sponsor the gasoline cars and profit from it but then end the race in a tragedy so no one gets the prize money. |

| The race begins... Whooo! This is giving me a Wacky Races vibe with all those weird cars and eccentric racers haha That party scene was awesome; everyone's fighting and then you just had Al and Kosame competitively cutting cucumbers haha |

| Pleasant episode, the race finally started after a weird pre-party with two contenders trying to shoot each other on the roof with unlimited ammo 6-rounds pistols, while other racers challenged each other on a different type of duel. Well I bet this race shouldn't be boring, after what we heard from the two men at the end. |

| Yes nice episode the race finally began! I'm interested to so what will happen with Hototo's story and I have a feeling it will bring Appare's team into some trouble along the way. Also, curious to see what Appare made out of all those car parts. A rocket perhaps? :O |

| This episode was LIT, that pre-race party was amazing. Great to see some stats on Appare's competitors' cars. Seeing all these massive engine blocks in the stats makes me smile XD I do have to say that most competitors are odd people. That brawl for Pole Position was amazing, a gunfight that was incredibly nicely animated, arm-wrestling and most surprising a cucumber cutting match, that Kosame managed to win. Talk about a bunch of weirdos! Also don't underestimate Xialian, those legs are made for just more than standing pretty... they pack some force! The race is finally on it's way, 5 episodes in and 8 episodes all about the race and stuff they will encounter during it. So hyped for more greatness!! | These 5 episodes were a great introduction to the main race! The whole pre-race even was amazing xD Xialian is still the only and the best girl, hope she will do well in the race...because there are many outlaws, and those guys seem dangerous as hell. Now the fun begins! |

| This anime is so ridiculous and cheesy but at the same time it's still fun to watch. It's like some eccentric fashion designer made their outfits. One of the few black guys makes his entrance with a boombox playing hiphop. 🙄 |

| TJ knows how to make a good introduction. Arriving at speed in a massive pink car, while blasting out loud hiphop music from his gramophone boombox. If that isn't a 10/10 arriving in style, then I don't know what is! XD This episode was mainly a build-up to the main race that we've all been waiting for, but the pre-race party turned out to be really fun and entertaining. I do like how we got to see the competitor's cars shown off like it was from a racing game, with the car spinning around while we digest the stats about the weight, engine capacity, power output and top speed of each car shown. However, the party got all hectic when TJ started to control things and he and Dylan ended up having an unlimited bullet works gunfight for the sake of having a gunfight. Then the whole party went even more crazy with arm wrestling, Xialian kicking a guy in the face (her dress looks beautiful on her) and Kosame and Al bizarrely having a cucumber chopping contest. To sum up, the party went completely off-rails and I loved every minute of it! ^_^ Now we've reached the start of the race, like at the start of episode 1, so I only hope that this long race will have many hectic and crazy moments. Great episode today. =3 |
| Now that's a wild party! Easily the best episode of the show so far and if things are to keep at this pace, we're going to be having a dime to keep up with. TJ and Dylan going at it in fast draw fashion while not giving a cahoot of the occasion or surrounding was pretty dope. And the soundtracks this episode, glorious! I knew it was going to be top-notch thanks to Evan Call but this is just perfect so far. Damn, those cars though. And then there's Car 0, lol. Design looks pretty tame but I'm curious how it'll "evolve" over the course of the cour. Looks like we'll seeing some drama from Hototo's side in the coming episodes as well, and in particular the next one would imagine given the episode title. Not having great hopes for it but hopefully it won't hinder too much if it turns out to be trivial. Comedy this episode was a real plus too but the stand-out is definitely Xialian. Holy fudge, she looks absolutely stunning and that roundhouse kick right at the bloody face was fab! Lol @ the female MC there with the "Yosha!" by the way, on-point. How the heck did Kosama and Al even come up with the cucumber slicing contest by the way xD? Playing the Op to the very first scene of the show was a really smart move as well, imo. I'll never get tired of such moments... |

| Only took them five episodes to get to the big race. Finally. Excited for the rest of the series. Xia Lian is  Had to laugh at that gun duel. What the hell? They were shooting each other point blank. |

| It took almost half the show to get to the race... There's no way they can really do a proper transcontinental race in the episodes they have left. There's gotta be some plot shenanigans incoming. |

| Yo, that was awesome this show is really slept on goddamnit. That part was wild and that gun battle between Dylan and TJ was fire. Finally we have reached the start of the race after being introduced to the characters let's fucking go. And Xialian best girl hands down she is so attractive. |

| Ladies and Gentlemen, start your engines!...well, soon though. Preparing for the Trans-America race, the pre-race party first for tradition and media coverage (at least for 20th century standards). Crazy TJ of the Thousand Three shows up in style though, I'll admit that, and to pass off with first impressions against Appare, both are in sync and hit it off well. As for the other Thousand Three, Gil the Butcher, another standout character that can make a dent on the race itself. For a large-scale race like this, the cars are indeed flashy and as bombastic. Hototo's pep talk to Dylan, and finally having known the culprit to be one of Gil's henchmen whom killed his father, both are vying for revenge for their loved ones, but planning for now. Well, the race for pole position sure takes a fun twist for challenges of all kinds, that's the Wild Wild West I know. But no matter, let the race begin! Every bit of hype from the PV has been built up to this moment. Greatness only starts from here... |
