| It is an original just like the previous season Most likely a direct sequel. Since there's no source material, no way to say for real. We'll have to see. |

| This is a sequel, it will probably focus on the aftermath of the final battle since S2 kinda glossed over it. So, this season will probably be an epilogue... or I really hope so. I don't want to happen to this what happened to Nanoha. |

| I was really content with the ending of the 2nd season. I would have preferred a prequel of Nogi Wakaba, the one I kept hearing so much about. Hopefully they won't ruin the ending by trying to milk the franchise more. We shall see. |

Until I realsed they literally recycled the same plot, same story beats, same twists for over 3 extra seasons and now the series stands at 5 seasons of recycled anime. Yeah Im very pessimistic about Symphogear now so when I see an anime that had a really good ending suddenly get an announcement of a new season I immedietly think of the downfall of Symphogear. Lets just say this announcement has brought me more worry than joy. I love Yuki Yuna and dont want to see it get milked for money and ruined. But I guess we'll see what happens. If they handle the sequel well in a way that doesnt ruin season 2's ending then great, we're all happy. |

| My questions now? 1. Why? Are there even more reason for these girls to fight and suffer other than filling the coffer of the people inside the project committee? 2. How? The gods are dead. Those fire-y thingy are gone. How are you going to make more story out of a complete one without breaking the basic fundamentals that made the story and the world, in the first place(using cheap tricks such as powercreeping, etc.)? |

| Continuing from S2 instead of adapting Nogi Wakaba LN is really odd decision. Let's see what will happen next. |

The story of Yuuki Yuuna arc is complete with S2. and if you see the pv, they chose to show the Yuuki Yuuna arc cast, instead of Nogi Wakaba arc. Wouldn't have asked this question had it been Nogi Wakaba anime adaptation, instead. |

| After watching episode 1 of this, I don't think it's sequel to Season 2. At least, not for now. Season 1 happened during spring. Season 2 happened during winter, and at the end of it, Fu graduates from middle school to go into high school and Itsuki becomes the new club president. This 1st episode of Season 3 ALSO happens in winter, and the girls mention it's been 6 months since "they fought", which would put us at spring, aka the climactic fight of Season 1. Then, there's the second-to-last scene of the Taisha kneeling to Togo in the rain. It is the same scene as the one from Season 2, that lead to Togo accepting the offer to become a sacrifice to appease the Heavenly Gods and having her existence erased from everyone's memories. Finally, the episode starts with a flashback of Season 1's climax, and it hints at what Yuna saw and heard while she was in a coma (the weird dimension, the grey black-hole, the blue bird, the girl's voice). So episode 1 of Season 3 seems to chronologically take place before episode 1 of Season 2. |

I guess it can be called "YuYuYu2 - Another POV's and Extras" And since it will have an epilogue, i think it can be labeled as a sequel. Anyway, even if NoWaYu got trolled in this adaptation, now the franchise is almost all adapted into anime, so i think it is over. No more series of YuYuYu. |
