| 9/10 Awesome direction, art quality and... OMG these voices. Kamiya Hiroshi, Takahashi Rie, Yasuno Kiyono and Uchida Maaya made this series even more great. |

| I find it a little hard to believe, amnesiac or not, that he wouldn't recognize his daughter. She's literally the exact same except taller. And that's putting aside the fact how incredibly cliche and overdone the amnesia trope is, and how it came out of no where right at the end. The secret love child contrivances was also a little much. The original family conflicts were more than enough. These little bits of melodrama always appear at a series finale, and while it wasn't too bad, it was a too much. Even if, at least it some of it set up. Great series all in all, but as a couple others have said Tomaruin really held back this show. He was completely unnecessary a lot of the time, especially during this episode, and imo, all of the "humorous" moments he was apart of fell completely flat and were more annoying than funny. Really good and completely unexpected show all in all though, but this ending could have been done a lot better, and easily held this anime back. |

| It's weird how, painfully slow they dripped all this future stuff throughout the series, only to rush through everything at the end. And it still feels weird and... lacking any real point? I liked the show, but the ending feels oddly tacked on. I guess there'd be little point (or hope) for a second season, even though it feels like there would have been plenty of material to further explore what happened to Goto, why the hostility towards his wife's family, and seeing how everyone grow in the 7-year fast forward stuff. Seems the show would have been better if it ended with all the future stuff un-explained, rather than the rushed thing we ended up with. |

| I'm not sure how I feel about the last episode. There's a half sister and a nephew he was in contact with that we know nothing about? The entire episode felt rushed to me. |

| Well this was a super lovely series if you ask me, first impressions of course is zetsubou-sensai being a mangaka, loved the art and va the MC with the same VA always work perfectly. And the whole rather bittersweet background story of Hime's mother actually even touched a some emotional strings which I did not expect actually. The characters and the story really developed amazingly and I found the way the episodes developed just perfect. Really really enjoyed this series and it was a great job to marathon this series as a whole! All in all an amazing anime with lovely, funny and even bittersweet emotions attached to it, and in my books that makes an anime great and rememberable. |

| That made me fcking cry! The moment everything just came rushing back in his memories crushed me. Anyways it was an ok series, nothing special and not bad, ended strong! 6/10. Missed opportunity with having Hime be voiced by Sakamoto Maaya (Shinobu from monogatari) for a full on monogatari vibes but heck, TakaRie nailed it! |

| this episode lowkey trying to message all the leaker of manga lol..so that how they got the copy,,crazy they can keep it up every week without discovered.. i felt the ending a bit rushed,,but it was an ok series.. who the hell would read something like that?? well, a lot of people actually sensei lol..it even adapted to anime |

| I can't believe I was sleeping on this series, binged the whole series in one sitting and damn this show is the anime of the Season for me. Probably the most deserving series with 10/10 in my list. Sad to hear that manga is ending soon 😔 |

| 6/10 for me, it was kinda meh overall. Good start and fun first episodes, but the overall repeating 'comedy' just felt old and meh fast and made me more sleepy than making me laugh, so after the initial first 4 episodes or so i got bored with the show and started fast forwarding to see the end, at least good final episode. (If only the end ep came already at ep.5 and we could continue from there with more focus on Hime and her Art & school life ++ this show could have been so much better imo.) |
| What a soothing experience.. Definitely one of the dark horses this season so far. Man, i really loved Gotou and Hime's father and daughter relationship, not to talk about the flow of the story wich was top notch! And this last episode was something else.. 8/10, well deserved, really enjoyed watching something similar do Usagi Drop again. |

| I think it's a really good finale unlike some other shows this season even though it was kinda cliche. However, something is really bugging me regarding Goto's past, especially about Hime's grandfather. I remember Goto saying he was a terrible person, but they didn't go any further with it. Can anyone fill me in or know if the manga talks about it? |

| Excellent episode, excellent show. Everything paid off in the end. Hime herself has started to draw manga and is now keeping it a secret from her father. Don't hate on something because it's a cliche. If you ask me, that's now a cliche of reviews in and of itself. It's HOW the cliche is used in the context of the story that matters. Regarding the amnesia thing, it was amazing. Not only was it lampshaded, the manga manuscripts from the old house played a role in resurrecting Sensei's memory, so I thought it was handled extremely well as a plot device in allowing Hime to show agency an be the catalyst for her father's rehabilitation. |
| I think the end was very fitting. Hime finally found out her father's secret and brought his memories back. It's almost ironical how the crew and Hime tried to hide the past 7 years from Goto and how Hime hides her love for drawing manga herself. lovely series. |

| This was such a charming anime. ;o;; I was already reading the manga, but I had no idea how it would end. Though it felt a little rushed, I'm glad it ended this way! Rokujou, best girl though! |

| It was a mediocre series, nothing really happened until the last episode when they revealed what all the teasing was about. Everything about his wife and her father and everything in the Goto's family was just left untouched. Yes it was a great dramatic finale, but many people are over reacting here. |

| I Loved the Beginning... (between 9-10) Then in the second half... in 2-3 episodes i worried a bit, cause i felt some scenes were kind of filler and far from the story... (between 7-8) So i worried of how this was going to end... but.... no...cause... I Loved the Ending... (again between 9-10) Need S2.... meanwhile i'll start reading the manga. |
| Personal score: 7/10 Finally, the truth has been revealed.. And, a heartwarming moment when Gotou remembers what he forgot in the last 7 years.. Oh Tomaruin, you still annoying till the last moment huh, ugh.. I like Hime-chan dialogue when she says: "Daijobu da yo! Otou-san to issho nara, doko datta suteki da yo~".. .. because of that, now i need.. .. well, maybe that's for another story... |
| Honestly, while I liked the twists of the ending and I'm glad it all turned out okay in the end (with plenty of bittersweet stuff with selling the house, him still looking for Hime's mother and leaving his job as a mangaka), I feel like this could have really used at least another episode for the ending. The pacing was pretty weird, and that kabuki part felt super unnecessary. It really didn't add anything to the story apart from a poor explanation of why his wife's dad was against their marriage. The rest of the ending was very good, and I liked that even Hime is now hiding that she has taken up drawing as a hobby. I'm kinda sad for the other assistants that they still remain that (or working at a book store), and only that one girl became an actual mangaka yet. As for the rest of the show, I enjoyed it, but I can't say I loved it that much. I feel like the main hook of the future parts in every episode making you wonder what's gonna happen was both a positive and a negative. On one hand it kept me wanting to see more, but on the other hand, it felt like all the other stuff was just filler while I was waiting for the real drama. Don't get me wrong though, I did enjoy the comedy and the wholesome parts, but still. Some things I didn't like was the editor guy, who I felt like meddled in stuff way too many times and was really annoying after a while. And the other was that I still feel like it was a stupid and poor decision to hide his job from Hime for so long. Like I get it, it's the main deal of the show, and don't announce it while she is young maybe, due to the dirty jokes, but after a while (if I were her) I would just feel like he didn't trust me enough to handle this... Anyway, all in all I'm giving it a 7/10. It was good, but I feel like it could have been much more. |

| This should have an after story! like continuation of Hime's 11th birthday, if Kakushi continues searching for his wife or just the same old premise. Really love it! |
