| Knhum made us see a side of Jotaro that he'd never show so I appreciate his failed attempt at killing them. He made his escape but brought the wrong orange so Polnareff threw the citrus bomb right his way when they took Oingo's words of advice. Boingo was supposed to take revenge for his split-faced brother but karma bit them right in the ass. They'll be wondering why they only met 7 Gods eventually. |

| These idiots genuinely never realized they were under attack. They were not torturing their enemy, they thought Oingo was Jotaro. I am losing my mind. Stardust Crusaders may be purposeful about it, but gosh the characters, good and evil, are the dumbest they have ever been in a Jojo part before. And Polnareff is the king of it! He is terror incarnate when he is up against people who are playing a part. Just as he gave Enya the most emotionally stressful massage of her life and brought up her dead son, he terrorized the poor Oingo. Making him do the cigarette trick, scaring the hell out of him with his stupid past life comment, and threatening to eat the orange bomb whole. Seriously, that stupid face as he said: “Let’s see who can eat an orange the fastest! I bet I can eat mine in one bite!” While also smiling about eating a dirty orange afterwards. He is so unpredictable and unhinged that I genuinely end up feeling bad for their enemies, while also finding it hilarious, when he’s put in these scenarios. At the very least, he’s probably the dumbest lead character that’s ever been in a Jojo part. Remember when Joseph instantly scoped out and figured out who Straits was? Yeah! He can be very clever, even if now wasn't one of those times. And to be fair, after talking about how cautious they have to be, he really didn't care about being cautious this time around. As it had to end, the boys had a touching moment before opening the book to see their demise, a real morality play. Honestly, after N’Doul and Geb, this has been shocking. Two of the nine Egyptian god stands have gone down without the heroes even noticing them. As much as this was probably the most comedy-centric arc, we can easily imagine a reality where they died horribly though, this stand combo was not one to mess with. They got lucky, that is, unless Iggy did secretly know everything and was the true puppet master. |
