| Seems like Nanbu actually knows what he’s doing and that kid really knows his stuff! Last scene was great and the music really hypes you up haha. Seems like Nambu finally came up with a plan. Hopefully that plan involves getting Joe some new gear along the way :P |
| Feel like the relationship between Sachio and Joe was a little forced. Felt weird seeing him go to such great lengths for Joe, but I'm sure they'll explain it later. Fairly enjoyable episode. 3/5 |
| So in this show we have some kind of candy that acts like a weak drug. And it's kids who are taking it. Damn, did this get dark. No Gear. Damnit Joe stop bluffing so much pls. Did Sachio actually make the call? It didn't seem like it lel. |

| Pretty interesting character development and pacing again! Really looking forwards for his actual first match and how he is going to find a new gear that can actually benefit him in his match. Well let's see what's next. |

| I guess even Yuri is affected by what Joe said because he went back to boxing with his high quality, expensive equipment after remembering how Joe taunted him. I guess this series will focus mostly on these two but I want to see Joe go against more formidable opponents. I'm not saying Yuri isn't but I want to see more characters introduced that are also Megalo Boxers. I guess the Red Candy that those kids got in exchange for the stolen cameras are a type of drug? Wasn't expecting to see kids get high on this show. Looks like that one kid was really moved by Joe and admires him. I like how snarky they are and the fat one is so fucking high, he can't even function properly. Sachio is kind of cute and he's a smart kid who knows the streets. He stole a gear for Joe because he believed in him. He was kind of cute asking if he could come to Megalonia. I'm sure he and his friends going to be a huge help to Joe and the old man. Viva Freedom! |

| His manager managed to get Joe into the tournament and it looks like he was a former coach under the Shirato Group. Him being a competent trainer for his partner makes it more apparent. The guy even threw out all his alcohol to take things seriously for the competition. Those kids looked like trouble at first but they're okay just like how my opinion changed for the manager. Sachio really wants to help Joe achieve his dream as a champion possibly to avenge his father who I assume was a former boxer who died of his injuries because he knows a lot about Gears. It's better for them to help him train than to steal for street drugs, that's for sure. I thought that Joe would be using the prototype gear Sachio stole from the fencer in the tournament but it broke when he fought the Bulldozer Gloves guy and Joe's scrap gear got busted. I wonder where they can procure new gear in just one day. |

| Great episode! We have now acquired a tech expert. That red candy kinda fucked, are they like drugs or something lmao. Well that new gear didn't last long, I got what I wanted though! For Joe to beat someone without a gear, that's dope. I wonder what plan Nanbu got on his sleeves though. |

| We got a new character, Sachio. A thief but a smart one. Seems like he knows a lot about Gears and he'll be helping Joe now. Sadly they don't have a Gear anymore but hopefully they'll find one for the match. The animation was good. Joe reminds me of the MC of Samurai Champloo or Cowboy Bepop xD |

| Though i am enjoying the show and the fight at the end of this ep was nice, i dislike this new character who seems to be joining up with the main cast. |
