| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Welp, this anime is just full of revelations. Now we got the identity of Dark Falz. I almost kinda feel bad for Ash since he seems to always have to make difficult decisions, even if he has to make them on his own. Only just a few more episodes go and it seems this anime is heading to its grand climax. |

| Helmet guy is future self of main guy? He did try to kill her, but too late because he's already too dark. He wanted main guy to kill her because he still has the light power. Lose power for the enemy team to not target on them? Main guy asked Shimono-san's Sister about the enemy team, but she was purely used that no information was given. Twins wanted to interview on the sister. He was going to say the truth for why he wants her to quit, then explosion. Sudden attack? It was the twin enemy! Then they seem to sense that girl with dark power coming. Sakurai-san's character is "alive" in twin's stomach! He told them about the dark power. It was made along w. mothership? Then dark power made those robot like little things... Countdown for end of the world? |

| Seems Ash has lived the same story a lot of times judging by all those tags. And Matoi is related the question is will he be able to change his fate this time with everything that happened. Well first they have to get out of that place tho. |

Luther was originally a Photoner and he ended becoming a Dark Falz. Also in the other PSO2 anime, a side story that takes place after this anime, (spoiler about the other PSO2 anime) While regular ARKS can absorb F-factor, I don't think they can absorb enough to turn into new Dark Falz. I'm not completely sure, but I think at most they can just be remotely controller by the existing Dark Falz (early episodes, ARKS that were lured by Elder into the monument where he was sealed) or even turn into regular Falspawns? Usually ARKS turning into a Dark Falz happens only through possession, an existing Dark Falz possessing an ARKS, but since both Ash and Matoi can absorb alot more F-factor than regular ARKS, they have the potential to become new Dark Falz or even cause the revival of the Profound Darkness. |

| Hmm to think that persona was actually a future version of Ash. Its nice that Alfin's sister is recovering so well after her ordeal. Patty and Tiea are as lively as ever though the invasion sure gave them quite the opportunity to show their combat ability. Looks like Ash was determined to shoulder the burden by taking on vanguard duty in order to protect Matoi. To think that the Gemini twins survived their battle with elder. Still have to say their stomach dimension sure was quite vast. While its surprising that Luther managed to survive the revelations that he brought to the table sure proved to be groundbreaking. So the profound darkness was something that was created in the arrogance of the Photoners then. Overall a decent ep that managed to combine both gradual escalation of the final arc with some rather interesting lore revelations. Quite curious in how Ash would act next though given the paths thats in front of him. |

| The stakes are way up. I was confused on why Luther was defeated so quickly, and thought how could the stakes get even higher than this? I was completely wrong! So [Persona] finally reveals himself as future Ash. It intrigues me that Ash seemingly has a power that can purify F-Factor to the extent that that happened with [Elder] (I didn't notice it when I watched the episode itself). But it seems he is fated to become a Dark Falz as he keeps absorbing and absorbing more and more F-Factor. And he tried to kill Matoi only to fail, being thwarted by his own past self. It feels like an endless, self-sustaining cycle. I think telling Matoi the truth is the best course of action. And just when Ash was about to tell her, [Gemini] attacked. It seems [Elder] was consumed by [Gemini]. Those damned twins sure are powerful. So Ash and Matoi have been consumed. And Luther is still alive? A lot of interesting lore here. How the [Profound Darkness] was made by the Photoners in their pride and blind quest for power and knowledge rivalling Xion. How they lost control of it. How they sacrificed their Photons for the sake of sealing it away, at the cost of having nothing to defend themselves with, thus creating ARKS. I at first thought that this series took place in a future of our own universe, but I guess this is a completely different fictional universe. And then the most horrifying revelation from Luther... At least half a dozen and definitely more of Ash's tags in the hands of Luther. Ash has lived through this numerous times, and yet here they are still. So inevitably, he fails. Knowing that, is this going to be when the cycle is broken? That look of horror on Matoi's face as she realises that Ash has gone through this many times and it seems, by the look of Luther having those tags, he's failed and died each time. Gotta say I really like with how the stakes have escalated and how complex the lore is. I'm still afraid of what's going to happen to Matoi. Looks liken the last 3 episodes are going to be the peak of this arc, the epic final confrontation to stop the cycle and defeat [Profound Darkness]. Will it be at the cost of Ash and Matoi? |

| No forrest or tree or anything, those Gemini really need to eat some more vegetables to grow instead of only planets, rocks and people. Quite suprised just like Matoi's reaction at the end on the amount of replays Ash has judging by those tags |
