Hi, I just finished the pso2 episode oracle anime. As a fan of the game I wanted to write a review highlighting the differences between the game and the anime. One of the points I wanted to mention was how the story was originally conveyed in the JP version compared to the world wide release, but I unfortunately only played global so my knowledge is second hand. From what I gather, as you'd explore the various levels, complete quests, talk to npcs, etc. you would trigger cutscenes when you had met certain conditions and were in the right locations. Were you able to play the game back when the matter board was still around and is that more or less how it worked?
