Whoa, so many information wrong on a review of FOUR EPISODES. With the most worst points being:

Kirito decides to be braindead for the entire season, because neuroscience apparently just doesn't exist in the world of SAO - When Kirito being braindead has nothing to do with the reality but his fluclight being broken due to the power surge that happened and how he was blaming himself at the time, which made him in that state.

Gabriel, a typical SAO creep, can suck souls out of the air somehow. - He can't do any of that. It's entirely obvious that this is a delusion outside of the reality, while inside the Underworld, the Incarnation system is being put on effect

He's also dead and alive at the same time for no reason. - How you even cam with this interpretation? This is literally a metaphor for how his personality works

The monsters decide to band together just because the Dark Emperor has arrived, and for no other reason. Most of them love him unconditionally, also for no reason. - Vector is a superaccount that is considered a god that has a legend for entire hundreds of years so of course they will be like that when the emperor is back and is leading them against their enemies.

Vixur and Lipia love each other and have souls, but people in the Dark Territory aren't supposed to have that. - It's literally said on the first episodes of the last season that Goblins had fluclights and are real humans much like the others, with the difference that in the dark territory many have monster forms instead. And it's literally explained on this very season again that they have fluctlights.

Most of the Integrity Knights are nowhere to be found. - Most of the Integrity Knights aren't awaken and functioning, with some just will appear later with the ones that are able to wake up.

Alice herself spends several episodes just flying around. - Alice literally appeared in this episode flying around. How the heck you even come with a point like that? She didn't spend several episodes, we only have 4 and in episode 2 she was the focus. She didn't appear on 3 and now 4 until the very end.

So yeah, all of your points are REALLY BAD and only makes misinformation to whoever is reading them.

People who read reviews in this shithole are quite big morons themselves. Congrats on wasting your time writing this useless wall of text... exactly like that other idiot just did.

To be honest, I think a review to be taken seriously needs that the author completed the series. Also, write something you had in mind in a casual way isn't good enough to be called review. By the way, the review on this site are mostly opinions wrote in a casual way and nothing more, so don’t take them seriously.

Well, tbf, the two people with prelim reviews so far have to be pretty much brain dead. It only took a brief read through of their text to realize what kind of dementia-like condition they’ve been diagnosed with.

Reviews are pretty unreliable on MAL almost all the time, so don’t care so much about it.

I understand SAO getting hate, but I don't think this season's MAL reviews are justified.

yeah don't pay any mind to those reviews they're pretty bad, not intelligent and some can't even form sentences correctly or sound articulate. it's now cool to hate SAO so expect these followers who don't think for themselves to be as predictable as always and the other followers from 4chan/weeb heaven to like their reviews. since its cool to hate on SAO they will find flaws since there are flaws in anything if you look for it.
I was in japan when the 4 episodes were on tv(just got back this wed) and the show is as popular as ever. so, no matter how many reviews these 12 year olds or 30 year old virgins leave on here no one involved in making the show cares as long as the japanese public/anime lovers enjoy it. It only takes a brief read through of all these reviews to see the agenda here, these same people will turn around and give black clover a 8 or 9 lol, it's all opinion...opinion influenced by popular opinion, some years back like 6-8 years ago i used to value opinions on here but i don't anymore

really great to see someone standing up for something they love and all those people saying why do u even care about something written in reviews section ,how can we stay quiet when someone is badmouthing things we love . And to speak about this season it's really amazing both the animation and music and the story is also nice.

Tbf I dont think I have ever actually read reviews for the sake of getting a review.
"This emotion is mine alone.
It is for Madoka alone." - Homura
or how I would descripe Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica.

i am on MAL for 7yrs now and never took a review serious because i really dont care and they are mostly written poorly like the person wanted to give the anime a bad one from the beginning.

well this season of SAO has the same issue that One Piece and other anime like bunny girl senpai had , just haters whining and crying and call it a review.
i'm sure haters don't even bother watching at least half of an anime or read half of a manga before writing a review .
and most of them hate some anime just because it's more popular or has better score than things they love

and it's noticable in SAO case because even good seasons have haters
