Still hard to take Momo seriously with her stuffed animal It's also about damn time Erina joined in this big war. She looks more focused than ever. On the other hand, it looks like Momo is still knowledgable as ever about sweets. Erina's food got some serious foodgasm reactions lmao. I'm amused. |

| How long we come from the bitchy, arrogant Erina whose only friend was Hisako from the beginning to the current one, helpful, supportive and kind to her (now many) friends (with some tsuntsun moments), even honoring Megumi by naming her dish in her honor. A nice victory for sure. My prediction as an anime-only for next episode: Isshiki and Takumi are going to get the short end of the stick and are going to lose so the final match is Souma/Erina against Eishi/Rindou (the opening even shows that, soo...). And now that Azami is going to judge, things are going to get worse. |

| I liked How Hisako was just pouring Soma tea while Erina and Momo were facing off. I found that quite funny haha. I do like how all of them are friends now and supportive of each other. Man even Ikumi was about to give Yukihira a nice hug before he was dog piled on. Yeah I had a feeling we were going to get a Erina and Soma team-up for the finals but man having Erinas dad being the judge more or less knocks out Takumi and Isshiki. I mean I hope I'm wrong but it seems pretty obvious what will happen. phantomfandom said: What is the topic of this match? Is it stated in manga? Redbean? Normal cake? Free style? | I'm glad that Erina won, i don't like Momo-chan because she is really annoying. So hyped for the next episode to see Isshiki vs Tsukasa, and Rindou vs Aldini will be interesting as well. |

| While the victory here was a one that managed to boost the morale of the alliance quite a bit the remaining three enemies will be the toughest. Looks like after their rest Rindou and Tsukasa are back to their usual selves. Its nice to see Erina finally take to the field. This bout though sure pitted the elites of both sides against each other. While her aura was scary Momo's way of cooking was pretty cute. Her dish as well as the tasting session that it created sure was amusing. Even from a young age Momo had quite the eye for cute things. Erina's dish sure provoked quite the response from the judges and Urara. While Erina's victory demonstrated Erina's ability it also showed just how far Erina had went to overcome her ice queen image. Still this defeat of central's forces seemed to have forced Azami to take the field in person which is an interesting development. |

| Erina's victory sure was a sweet one! Momo has always been a character I never really liked that much, Ironically she gave me the same kind of feeling Erina had in the first season. The development Erina has made her a far better character for me and actually really likeable now. She has come a long way! Gotta love that she honoured Megumi with the name of the dish! Now Azami will be judging... I was actually glad I didn't see him much so far this season. Shame he makes more of an appearence now. I do wonder, is he gonna be the only judge now? or switch with one of the 3 judges we already have? | Great episode. Erina. <3 Loved how she won against Momo especially at the end when she asked the latter to taste her dish. I'm assuming Takumi and Isshiki will lose and then Souma and Erina will face off against Rindou and Tsukasa. How is it fair for Azami to be the judge? Doesn't that pretty much rig the match? |

| As expected of Erina, she totally dominated in her shokugeki against Momo and won. Both of their dishes looked cute. Anyway Looking forward to Isshiki vs Tsukasa and Takumi vs Rindou. |

| Man it must be hard to properly pace these episodes with this tournament-type format. Some episodes I feel like it's dragged out too long, but this episode felt just barely too fast. I think this episode could have used maybe 5 more minutes to transition between scenes. In any case, I like the show but with the uneven pacing and the fact that we are still in this drawn out war with battle after battle, I'm getting a little tired watching this. I miss the goofy episodes from the first couple seasons where things were constantly changing and it felt more like a slice of life high school anime with some exciting battles here and there, as opposed to this constant battle anime theme this season. I hope this war wraps up quickly and we can enjoy more ridiculous humor and shenanigans again soon. |

| Masterful episode, once again! Finaly it was time to see Erina shining, i loved her determination towards Momo, she completely shut down Momo with that brilliant dish! i am loving how much she developed since the beginning! I found really wonderfull Erina naming her dish in honor of Megumi, Megumi really deserved that! And also was epic too see that Souma was another inspiration that made Erina fell how Momo felt irritated towards Megumi's dish! Erina finishing with almost the same line as Souma was fantastic, and their interaction between each other was amusing! I have a bad feeling towards Takimi and Ishiki's shokugeki, but lets see! Seems Azami will be the judge, i think it will be interesting if he would be fair, but also i am kinda affraid of it! |

| If looks could kill, then Momo's glare would certainly be unrivaled. She might've won against Megumi in the previous round, but Megumi's dorayaki was still enough to leave Momo in a bitchy mood. Despite her constant death glares, Erina wasn't worried one bit against Momo as the two of them battled it out in the 4th round. Momo's castle dish was crazy and it does look super tasty, but Erina's dorayaki-style souffle was the victor here. Erina's experience of having someone enter her paradise and upsetting the balance is what Momo is in right now and Erina was able to use what she learnt and won the match. Top notch foodgasm reaction from Momo, though. =P However, Azami makes his appearance and tells the audience that the judging panel is changing, with Azami himself as a judge. This'll make the rebel camp pissed off now that their main opponent is now on the judging panel. Anyways, I look forward to seeing how the animated battle between Isshiki/Tsukasa and Takumi/Rindo folds out next time. =) |
| Change in pacing a bit ... I had expected for the match between Erina and Momo to be ended in the next episode only not in this one already. I guess it was so they could end with Azami announcing to take over as judge. |

| Erina drew inspiration from Megumi to help her defeat Momo (also it was a nice touch to see Erina name her dish after Megumi as well). The remaining matches in this round should have obvious results, especially with Azami as the judge now. |

| Another great episode! Damn! Erina taught her a lesson, and probably in the best way possible, love that she named the dish after Megumin! That ending... it's the only thing i find ridiculous, this would be the same thing as FIFA's president changing the rules and saying that he will be the judge...a little bit stupid tbh. |
