| How do you guys feel about this season? Imo currently it's better than GX and AXZ so far. GX had scenes that made Hibiki unlikeable and mid season it turns to episodic doll fight. Meanwhile AXZ is just boring overall. As for S1 and G, I think I still need to see all episodes of this season before I decide which one is better. |

| This is not like Pokémon, Yugioh, or Gundam where it’s actually okay to watch out of order. Edit: nvm you actually did watch all four previous seasons in order, it seems, but the way you stated it sounded kinda weird. So I’ll try to answer your question. I think this is the best season so far because it’s making an effort to draw everything from the previous seasons together, which included the relatively dark content and atmosphere from back in s1. The animation quality is at a peak as well. The question is what kind of conclusion this show wants to reach, with four episodes left. |

| GX is my favorite season but this so far with 9 episodes is my second but with 4 episodes left that could change. My biggest worry though is that I don't want them to make this season any less pleasant than it already is because so far this season is the least pleasant, for better and worse. |

| The best analogy I've come up with to describe this season, is that it's the avengers endgame of anime. The characters are good, the action is great. But its the payoff of all of these plot lines from previous seasons all coming together for one big climactic season that pushes it in to a new tier of hype. |
| By far, the best season for me. The constant hype, the consistent production value, the GOAT henshin sequence, the returns of many characters, everything is just bigger and better. |
| My favorite season so far is GX, but depending on how the last few eps of XV turn out that could easily change, because the new season has everything I loved of previous seasons mixed into one. |

| I have no idea what this series is about and have personally never seen it before. That being said, can anyone that is currently watching this season fill me in as to whether or not it is worth watching the first few seasons to catch up to this? Also, if anyone can answer the reasoning behind the drastic difference in terms of ratings compared to this season and the earlier ones. |

| I agree with this being the best one, it has every good aspect of every previous season. With that being said, I hope they give us a proper ending after all this build up. |

| Personally XV is my favourite season. I just loved how dark this season is. Also Tsubasa became my favourite character in this series because of this season. I originally wasn't a fan of her on season but she grew on me from G onwards. My least favourite season was GX. It didn't have enough substance even for Symphogear standards plus Hibiki was just very unlikable in that season. It was just all flash no bite personally. Anyway I am planning to write a review for all the seasons of Symphogear at once XD. |

| Hmmm not really sure. So far it seems alright compared to other seasons. I still think G and season 1 were way better. I just feel they're referencing previous seasons too much and tons of this seasons content is just ripped from previous seasons. Hell an entire fight was stripped with the Maria Vs Tsubasa from season 2 back in XV. Same with returning characters such as Carol. Not enough focus on Shem Ha until super late into the season. And even when she gets introduced she was immediately denied and went back to sleep. The tonal shift this season is horrendous though. Symphogear has sort of always had this problem but its sooo apparent in XV. Episode 1 normal Symphogear, Episode 2 sudden dark tone suggesting a new different season, Episode 3 back to normal Symphogear. Their selling point for this season of being more dark is only used when convenient and to make Tsubasa suffer more but we all know nothing will actually happen to the Symphogear users themselves. They also seem to be adamant about staying with the three villain format they haven't stopped since season 2 (other than GX) with the three main villains and one larger one for the main villains to turn against. I just feel a lot of the format and plot elements haven't really changed from previous seasons which I really had high hopes they'd change. I guess it was just me over expecting from this season and being disappointed when its just another normal season of Symphogear. I think its just a matter of what they do in these last two episodes as to whether this season is any good. I think its better than GX and AXZ to an extent but no matter what they do I don't think it'll be better than S1 and G. Unless they do something super impactful like have HibiMiku become actual canon with a kiss or something since they are the focus (Apparently). (I highly doubt this will happen though.) |

| Each seasons is better then the previous in someway shape or form, even if they don't always transition perfectly. XV is the best for its animation, action and increasing stakes over the course of the whole season, and the callbacks to all the previous ones are fantastic. |
