It looks like the show still wanted to give them their special moment before departing. The crying this episode though, especially from Lucy. |

| So Mavis and Zeref have passed on together. Not gonna lie, that actually was pretty emotional. Natsu was thought to be saved due to the END book being partly rewritten... however he still disappeared? I wonder... Well, I had a feeling Acnologia wouldn't be defeated so easily by sealing it into a time rift. So the battle is not over just yet. |

| Had to skip the first half....I mean who was that for? 12yo boys? older melodrama lovers? Makarov being alive is definitely super surprising, and Natsu is super definitely dead. /s |
| I mean I've always hated Fairy Tail for a while but that Mavis Zeref moment got me. D: Oh look Makarov came back alive I'm so surprised like I'm so mind blown. And yep we all know Acnologia isn't gonna be defeated like that easily. To wrap up this last series the last battle is going to be a bang I hope it turns out well this time... The dragon slayers all together. |

| It's amazing we will get one last big fight before the series is over. No time rift will stop Acnologia. I predict they will bring Natsu back since it's supposed to be a happy ending. Mavis and Zeref's death was interesting. |

| This was a really heart touching episode, Mavis and Zeref's last moment was beatiful. Rest in peace the first master of Fairy tail. Also time for the big fight vs Acnologia at the end of the series. |

| The Zeref X Mavis moment made me cry .. Even though Natsu disappeared, dunno how and why? maybe because the book of END got re-written again. And I'm curious about the crack in the sky at the end of the episode, Acnologia is coming back, i guess. |

| Ah, that horrid curse of contradiction. Zeref & Mavis passing away like that was sad but it’s in their best interests so I’m glad for them. “Power of love, the very essence of Magic” - Right. Mavis’s mixed feelings though, dang they’ve been through a lot for sure. Emotional first half, overall. But looks like they’ve shared whatever remaining life force they’d to (yet again) return Makarov. If there’s anyone who’d get this sort of a saving treatment, it’d to be him without a question lol. I didn’t honestly think he’d be gone for too long then and here it is. Seeing the two happy in afterlife was a really nice addition. Lucy, meanwhile, has completed ‘rewriting’ the book but that hasn’t stopped Natsu from disappearing. Seeing the three struggle to come to terms with that was depressing to see. To make matters even worse, Acnologia seems to be on course to making a grand return. Wow, just when you think the war is over, another bleak obstacle appears. Expecting Natsu to make a grand return to beat Acnologia or something of that sort. |

| RIP Zeref and Mavis, I really liked both of them, but since they died happily, I'm kinda glad for them, after they suffered during their whole lives. Also, Makarov inherited Zeref's curse, that's why he can't die no matter how many times he's at the gates of death. Probably. Time for the final battle. |

| Mavis and zeref are the main characters of the show -even though it was kinda cringy. But makarov, really, you just dont die, do you? Geez. Natsu seems to just have ran away... after saying all that about fighting acnilogia, he cant just disappear from the world. |

| That damn soundtrack is still so great after all this time. Looks like Acnologia will come back and the dragonslayers have to kill him together with Natsu of course finishing him. Well guess that end with the time rift was quite lame anyway. |
| The Mavis x Zeref moment was quite emotional. RIP to those two. Makarov is also back. Looks like Acnologia will be back and the dragon slayers will have to deal with them. The future episodes will be interesting. Natsu disappearing had me worried but he'll be back. |

| this ep was ok the part that was even sad was when natsu went away (though feels like Natsu felt Acnologia coming back so he went there is what im thinking ) everything else was pretty meh especially the whole first half of the ep as for Acnologia coming back lol should be no surprise as he is OP so he was coming back regardless with that said next ep looks like its gonna be good so am looking forward to it |

| Well I read the manga so I know what will come next,I can't get excited at all. But gonna point at one thing,Lucy had some sort of reaction after Gray removed END from her.(This wasn't in the manga). Maybe she is now the master of END book. This gonna come handy in 100YQ manga. |

| I actually enjoyed this episode because Mavis got more screen time. I'm glad that Mavis and Zeref were able to go to the afterlife in peace because they deserve to be together forever. |

| No, no, no, no, no, no! Where is Natsu?! Fuuuuck, i was tricked into thinking it was over but now Natsu's gone and the sky is cracking! I cried so much when Zeref and Mavis died. Like i've said right from the start, i never hated Zeref and i really wanted him to live a happy life. I know that he and Mavis are happy together now but i just wish they didn't have to die. At least they got to go together 😭 |

| Damn what was I expecting from Fairy Tails ending. Of course the only way to win is through love! Oh Guild Master is alive too, wow what a shock! I totally was sure he died!! Oh and look Jellal survived too! But wait did Natsu die?!?! No way they would never have the balls to do that... He's not even in the preview! He might actually be dead! HA! as if. Doe's anyone actually find these fake deaths emotional anymore? Fairy Tail rules: Love/friendship overpowers everything Zeref wasn't even special because everyone is actually immortal Every 'evil' character will be redeemed It's fine if you want your anime/manga to be cheesy, just stop acting as if there are actual stakes.. I don't even know what I wanted from Fairy Tail, I guess it just got too repetitive in the end. Maybe just a little bit of tension would have been nice. Maybe we'll get a good climax now, we'll see. |

| Watching Natsu and Gray get into fights with each other never gets old, makes me laugh everytime. Looking forward to the final battle that's to come. |

| I mean, Mavis and Zeref's overarching plot was the last good thing Fairy Tail had left at this point. I actually feel like it was genuinely well established, melodrama and unfortunate implications aside. Happy to see that it was well adapted. But the rest is just... Let's just say I'll give a "4 out of 5" to the Zeref and Mavis segment. |

| I like to post in manga forum when I feel it is worth it, so people will think. "Shit, is her again" or something. People asked me where I read certain thing but the rules say no telling where did you read so maybe I am too boring for not saying? Or salty because you didn't check my profile that says don't ask because I hate people to ghost me after that. I love learning languages so maybe I did not read the manga in English. |
| About time that lovey-dovey couple could rest in pieces (peace). Must be a great relive for him to finally die after 400 years. Well, he was still younger than prophet Noah which became "900 years". ^^ Anyways, Natsu is gone and Acnologia is back. It would indeed be strange if he went down that fast. Interesting how they are going to defeat him in only 4 ep. Huh, only 4 ep. left. Now I am curious how rushed this ending is gonna become. ^^ PS! What a shock that Makarov is still alive. I am expecting to see both Ichiya and Anna alive and kicking. It will probably come. |

| Zeref is too good for this series... a bit of the dialogue was almost too corny but I was still releasing my "emotion juice." I'm a huge sucker for that sort of romantic tragedy, and it paid off. Beautiful, heartbreaking stuff. :'( |

| Man Mavis and Zeref's story is actually pretty good. You just have all the FT nonsense in between that gets in the way. Zeref is the real tragic hero of FT. Natsu and his band of friendship idiots are the psychopaths constantly getting in the tragic heroes way. And well, being tragic he does lose in the end. Worry not sweet Zeref, your legendary quest will not end in vain. The other pure evil of this show, Acnalogia the unstoppable dragon, will surely be stopped. There is only one thing in this world capable of defeating the all powerful dragon - that is friendship. You know there's not a lot of anime where the bad guys win. I guess FT is pretty unique in that regard. |

| Dat kiss. Dat light. The power of love. Makarov is alive? The pendant. Happy all up in Lucy oppai. Natsu appears. An adventure to track down Aquarius key. Where is Natsu? Dat crack. Dat ending. Crazy that Zeref and Mavis had a kid and they both didnt know. For someone as powerful as Zeref, he couldn't even sense that August was his kid. Heck, Natsu was right in front of August and didn't think he smelled like Zeref or Mavis (not sure if you can smell a ghost). In the end, all 3 died and it amounted to nothing. With that said, with Mavis gone, my waifu Zera is gone forever. NO!!!!!!!!!! She deserved a 3rd life. Dammit!!!! 2 chapters. They didn't show the full kiss. They didn't show a piece of Lucy's pantsu when she dropped to the ground. |
