THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE.
----------------------------------------
Seems this show likes to introduce more and more characters with each episode. I like the mood of this episode though with the tense competition at the arcade.

Wasn't really into the politican drama though. On the other hand, it feels like the monsters in the show are getting more and more fierce.

Well. it's Belo's turn and it looks like he becomes the perpetrator instead of the one he killed. Man, he should have stayed out of the other side.

Whoa, it look like there is a secret council that uses them demons to their dirty work.

Oh poor Snob Boy, his daddy got killed by the same demon that he also hired and now he's blaming Belo who just avenge hid daddy.

Nin sounds like Krauser II lol, so that's what his side job is

Also...idk what else to say another random episode I guess. Kinda reminds me of Darker than Black in a sense except the story, for now, doesn't really seem to be going anywhere apart from "which monster is gonna die today"

I Felt bad for Belo for being accused like that, after trying to trust someone. I guess he will never trust humans again!

Hope it isn't the end of this story though, it is a bit fine.

I enjoyed the venture into Belo's personality, I truly felt his indifference in the beginning, to his growing interest in the rich kid, and his hope for a friend, and then the despair from being misunderstood. I feel closer to him, by realizing, he like the others wants to be human and create deeper relations with the rest of the world, but is too scared to do so,and thus closes himself off by saying to himself, you know what happens when you try... you ultimately fail. I feel great empathy for Belo and as of now I announce him to be my favorite character of the show. I also enjoyed the show's focus on the disparity between the rich and poor, as well as the motivations of the side characters.

As you can tell I thoroughly enjoyed this, and I hope the overarching plot doesn't devolve into an all out brawl, rather, it fully expands on the themes introduced, as well as the main characters

Basically, THIS EPISODE WAS SOOOO GOOOOOOD!!!!!

Man they are trying REALLY hard to sell the "I'm a monster so I can't be happy, woe is me" bit. I wish they would do it in a more creative way than a cliche "YOU KILLED MY FATHER" misunderstanding. Also the politics in this show are overly simple but also too vague and really not at all important to the storyline. This show really can't seem to figure out what it wants to be and it's falling flat on all of it.

This was the first good episode of the series. Last week's episode would've been fine if it weren't for that weird bowling dude and that one woman's nonsensical actions.

I really like the design for Belo's demon form. Belo's probably my favorite character out of the main three, and it was nice to see an ep focused around him. This was probably the best episode of the series so far, and I can definitely say I enjoyed this one more than the previous ones. The mood of this one was calmer, with less over the top ridiculous action scenes and weird villains. The fight towards the end was nice, though.

A generic looking ninja that says "Nin" vs Belo. The broad conspiracy tale thus far is a doozy. The quest of the youkai trio trying to become human is interesting so hopefully next episode gives us more on that - or else thing could get hella boring real quick.

This is literally Garo - generic demons vs generic heroes EXCEPT the heroes are not that generic - demons who want to become humans. Basically this is more of drama than action, unlike Garo. Drama there sucked. Except for the Honou no Kokuin.

I can think of literally nothing but these thoughts for this episode.

This time it's Belo's turn to shine, and awfully not a ton of exposition is given, other than his recluse and solemn self.

And it seems that beside the people of Outside who is unknown to the trio (which is expected), there is the group of evildoers who have been casting the monsters we've seen these 3 weeks. Hopefully we'll get to see them soon, coz other than resonating with @papsoshea about Bem, Bela and Belo wanting to become human, I don't really know what this show is going for at this point.

Please pick up the pace soon though, it still feels so dragged on, even at the expense of character development.

I'm actually enjoying this episode slightly more than the last one, and I sad Belo lose his new friend rather quick.

Anyway, does they really want to make the episodic villains kind of silly? The annoying-sounded water monster, out-of-place bowling guy, and a ninja making "nin-nin" sound XD

Edit: And just realized that the end of Belo and Daryl scene (with his dead father) pretty much homage to Spiderman and Green Goblin

This anime improves with each episode.
Poor Belo, he found a friend, but then he lost it because of a misunderstanding. Got damn! Those misunderstandings never go out of style.

Ninja dude, while a bit on the stupid side, was FAR, FAR, FAAAAAAAAR BETTER... Than the Bowling dude from last time, this is something I can work with now. This anime is starting to get better.

Good to see an episode solely focused on Belo. The political approach did not really capture me, but I was sad to see that the dad got killed by this demon he just hired. I mean, it was rough. I am already looking forward to next weeks demon nevertheless!

Poor belo, just when he made a friend from the upper

Looks like the professor has made quite a lot of monsters already, knowing that the bowler from last episode already was a monster 10 years ago, that must mean that the 'mysterious murders' have happened quite often there

I really liked this gaming turf-war episode up until that stupid misunderstanding. It was so predictable and highly preventable yet it played out exactly as I guessed it would. Belo even had a chance to try and explain, but no, he just mumbles and runs away making it look even worse. That scene was SO frustrating to watch.

The dad did not hire that assassin did he? The dad was just moving his own timeline up due to the killings.
