| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Pretty decent fight scene. The animation looks a lot better than it was in the first episode. And seeing that specium ray again brought some nostalgia to me.  |

| Suplex! I'm surprised the Helicopter didn't break when Shinjiro slammed his fist against it... Stop crashing into the stadium and not breaking the ground! Hot damn, that's where all the animation budget went, right to the transformation sequence! Finally they put a crater in the ground.. You can hear Shinjiro's voice being muffled a bit by the suit. Nice detail... Attach the left wrist to right wrist. I knew it! Specium Ray! They really went in on the smoke and particle effects...And wow that was awesome how the smoke slowly cleared and you can see him just standing there staring back at you. Bemular...is the first enemy? And he looked mechanical. So how many enemies are there? This episode was like 95% action, and it looks like the animation is better when there are no human faces to animate. Alright then, we're going to need some exposition next episode. |

| Great fight. I really wasn't expecting it to be done so well. I guess the Ultraman suits have some amazing healing abilities because that hole through the intestines/organs healed up real quick. |

| yo, 2 years late, was bored, so I decide to check out some Netflix... came across this, decide to watch some of it. And... after ep 2... this wasn't what I was expecting for Ultraman... mainly cause it's not "really" Ultraman (or atleast how the original style was) The MC literally just have super strength (and possibly endurance/ healing capabilities), but he can't really do anything Ultraman can without the "suit". Which the suit itself duplicates the "powers" that Ultraman had with "science". CGI ain't bad tho, it's pretty good. |
