The Princess is being taken to another castle Kodai, Sorry

Lucky for Kodai and Yurisha that Melda was there to start a coup de tat but he just missed Yuki by a hair. With this act Melda has officially become a rebel of the Gamilan Empire. Are Melda and Kodai going to cross paths since they're on the same planet? Maybe team up for their own interests?

They had a good chemistry when she was a prisoner on the Yamato so I wouldn't mind that

Well that was unexpected....

It looks like the relationship between Iscandar and Gamilas is key to ending the war and bringing peace to the Galaxy. I hope the sub captain was able to rescue Elk's wife. I don't think we saw what happened to her.

Damn, Yurisha was awfully cute when she "appeared" on the seat beside Kodai.

I knew Garmillians had Iscandar in awe, but never that they would be twin planets of the sort.

The ep. felt a bit rushed but there were some interesting developments. By now it's clear Kodai has strong feelings for Yuki. It must be strange for him to be together with Yurisha in this context.

Episode I was not very satisfied, I found it too short, alas! Yet it was not as bad as plot and narrative, perhaps the twists han not yielded the right expectations, except the final! The next episode at least from the promo, it seems a little light as history. Technically I can not complain!

Ito has not shone much as a character, even on his deathbed! LOL

I dispaice but I wanted to say ... ASD

I don't understand what motivation Ito still had to make a mess since the Izumo plan is impossible at this point. Oh well, I guess he just wanted revenge.

Impressive character animation this episode.
The timing of that riot was convenient.

Yurisha's affected mode of speech is very annoying.

It was a little difficult to take Yuki's gesture to her captor seriously while her butt-crack was sitting in the middle of the frame.

In the end i felt sorry for ito. I think he just did not want to be in the rig again so he got into the seagull.
there seems to be a great admiration from garmillas to iscandar. Desler himself is always looking up.
and kodai is kind of cute in love...

Nice to get confirmation that Iscandar is right next to Garmillian as an twin planet. I think they alluded to that somewhat in one episode at the beginning. Can't remember exactly what episode that was anymore.

YYYYYYYYUUUUUUUUUUKKKKKKIIIIIIIIIII!!!!! I was screaming with Kodai at the moment :(((. Yurisha is pretty cute too. I wonder what would happen if Yurisha fell for Kodai...I wouldn't know who to choose XDDD.

I really did not see the twin planet coming. Maybe I wasn't observant enough. They did give hints when Desler kept looking up at it, but at the time I thought he was looking at Earth...

RIP Ito. Nice to know you love Earth.

Edit: I think I'm falling for Yurisha XDDD Those purple eyes

Yuki was downright mentally retarded this episode, just wow.Don't try and break a nail sweetheart ,just believe and let yourself follow the same person that kidnapped you 1 episode earlier....

Ofc they have to extend the damsels in distress cliche even longer.

Not going to lie I'm going to miss that sleazy rat bastard Ito. I'm going to miss his voice the most I loved it for some reason. I bet he would be an master at seduction. xD

Also guy that got shot last episode survived I'm so glad he is one of my favorite characters. He is so cute. <3

I don't like the Iscandar reveal in the remake. It was a much bigger plot twist in the original. The whole episode was original to the remake, but it was still really good.

I now officially question myself: why am I still watching this

Shit goes on without being explained
All of a sudden, a riot
sheit dawg
And then Ito had almost a complete change in character
fuck man

And let me take a guess

Ditz is now a full-branded traitor, and they'll side with Yamato
oh gee, where did i see this scenario before

Oh no, they're going with the hippy peace and love crap by giving a dam about some random guy who just kidnapped you or mourning dead enemy soldiers in the middle of a dangerous situation. Then Ito dies a pointless death without any redemption so how can one actually care for him after all the stuff he's pulled lol.

Great revelation of what the Iscandar planet really is! This episode also had some really intense action but for some reason I do prefer the story telling of the original more as it had something more "dramatic" attached to it, while here the drama seems forced and is mainly focused on the action?

Oh well, with 5 episodes remaining I do wonder how they'll finish it!

Itou's reprisal in death. I suppose all he really wanted was what was best for Earth. Or what he thought was best for it, anyway.

I fucking knew it, though, that that was Iscandar. God, this is going to be a tough trip.

Ofc they have to extend the damsels in distress cliche even longer.

To be fair, it's more than a cliche, it's embedded into both the male and female mind. Girls like men that can protect them, men want to be that man. A cliche of nature, I suppose?

This moment of pause within the main story is not a bad thing, indeed it is interesting as far as I am concerned to see in the meantime how is the situation of the various characters aboard the Yamato. The episode almost seems to mean that in life there is almost a law of retaliation that sees Niimi return to the staff of the ship and the treacherous Ito give his life to save the life of Yurisha. Compelling the riot that ensued in the enemy's prison, the excuse used in the plot, to chase Yuki, proves not so trivial to link this event to what leads to discover the secret that binds the planet of Gamillas with that of Iskandar. Kodai always makes a good impression this time too. Wow, I did not expect the character of Yabu to have his moment of glory in history, who knows what will be his destiny now forward.

1) He shot a part of the Seagulls controls, why did the left turbine suddenly catch fire?

2) Yurisha says she loves Yuki. Yurisha was the Iscandarian who went to earth "1 year" ago and got involved in that accident with Yuki there, right? Then how is Yuki supposed to be an Iscandarian? Did she go to earth before Yurisha? Or are all the Gamilas wrong in the assumption that she is one?

And what is up with that storytelling? Yurisha finally got out of that pot and nobody questions her? I want to know more about here, but there aren't that many episodes left...

Tbh the twin planets revelation was kinda expected, there were some hints, and Desler was literally watching Iscandar several times, and even sent an expedition there (or planned to)

"The princess is in another castle" are they really pulling this shit? Get this kidnapping stuff over with, i am sick and tired of these tropes. Yes, i know this is probably where that trope originated (or one of the originals) i guess that gives more reason to be annoyed by it by how much old anime and jrpg's depend on that specific scenario.
