I've played the game, and the story is interesting, in the anime they have only explored really little of the game story. |

| Really nothing is mentioned about a second season, if not during this year would come something related to the animated format series. With a season of 24 episodes like what they did with Shingeki no Bahamut they could easily cover the entire part of Girl in Blue chapter. (Spoilers) The game just finished a few weeks ago the second part of the story and you can only say good things, the story has improved a lot. |

| The first season was enjoyable, however i definitely would have enjoyed it way more with Djeeta. That special episode that had Djeeta instead had a WAY better dynamic between the characters that was far more interesting and unique. With Gran it feels a lot more generic and a bit lackluster, but with Djeeta it was quite a lovely fresh taste. There just aren't many female-lead adventure stories where a woman gets a gang( more accurately nakama) of companions on her journey. I'm sure i will end up talking about Djeeta vs Gran a fair bit more when the anime starts airing. |

What happens is that the Djeeta shown in episode 13 represents the players of rank 101+ in the game. People who have been playing for months or years now. |

Their personalities were a bit different even if they had the same motives, goals, and even if they shared lines. It gave off a different atmosphere and the characters were able to play off eachother with a tone that was unique and comfortable. With Gran it feels like a generic shounen fantasy doing the harem-esque party that occasionally has some "cool guys". Even just the factor of them being female instead of male made it feel way different. I often imagine how cool it would have been if say Lelouch in Code Geass had been female the whole time. It could be almost everything the exact same but with Lulu as a girl, and it would have felt way different. I didn't study it to see if the lines were different or what-have-you, and couldn't have known of any rank affecting the narrative or anything. Ultimately i just found it way better. Gran also just doesn't have any flare to make him stand-out despite being a regular male protag like say Izayoi Sakamaki does from Mondaijitachi for example. ps: i am not feminist, i just like female characters way better, relate better, and enjoy interesting personable & fun female protagonists more; especially with how they are such a rarity. |

| I know they're sticking with the main story, but man, I kinda wish they would tackle the "What Makes the Sky Blue" saga. Would love to see that for some of that great coffee animation. Although, that would make a great movie. |

Likes: A good story, characters, writing, romance, a good plot twist or something that breaks expectations (In a good way), 'backstory' and justice. Dislikes: Bad romance, too much fanservice, the harem genre, yuri, yaoi, and bad writing. |
