| 4/5 Episode that I really enjoyed, I like the story between the serious and the light-hearted, between the SOL and the rich context of action. Plot that not contempt, while still not understanding where is direct, not a afan then I have not read anything about Gundam. Beautiful designs and beautiful animation, CG excellent. Also promoted the ending which, while not endorsing the fact of revealing future events, but is a certain charm in the way it reveals. I can not wait to see the next episode! |

| Now that was awesome, the battled coupled with the OST was fantastic. But Bellri himself is pretty weird...hes OK with killing other soldiers of the Captial Army and feels nothing about it...Dellensen's death should have been done a little slowly I think, it was quick and left no impact to me.. | Second important death, Dellensen of the Capital Army and Bell Instructor!!! I think that Bell is a little hypocrite for his tears when killed the instructor!!! If you have a gun in your hands in a middle of a brawl, the normal is use it, and exists the possibility of kill someone! |
| This has been pure Tomino all along, with the needless deaths and the 'if you weren't here I wouldn't have to kill you' stuff. But, with Bell's reaction at the end, and considering Aida's continued mourning of her Capt, the way the deaths are handled is interesting. Certainly not forgotten in an instant in the darkness of space. |

| I was annoyed by Bellri's ability to fight (kill) his compatriots, good to see some effect here (pretty early though for the usual pilot's removal troubles). I guess he will be more and more "stuck" with the Pirates, following his actions. The further we go, the more Capital Tower seems to simply search for an excuse to up its military/technical power and use it. 4/5 "You want to see more of it, don't you?" deg said: Dellensen died but I feel no impact at all, the deaths on this anime are not sad at all, but maybe that is what they are going for since this show is meant for kids viewing This series was an after-midnight show, I doubt it was intended for children. In case this was not obvious enough, the death here is meant to be meaningful to the hero and affect him (à la Victory). What would serve the purpose of saddening the audience with it? o_o |

| Just noticed that the core fighter from the OP just kinda disappears without any in-between animation lol. Just a new frame and it vanishes "in the clouds". Also I guess it's the first episode with some narration after the OP. Didn't expect to see segways in Gundam but here we are. Also cool elevators and those space gums. Old-school explosions looked nice. Apparently the woman with the steering wheel is named...Steer. She's voiced by some Michelle Yumiko Payne, and it's her only seiyuu role in an anime. Classic Tomino. In any case Steer is becoming my favorite crew side character xD That outfit (look at her head!), those lines and movements...so charismatic. Occasionally some drawings feel off (faces during the briefing at the end?) but the show mostly looks good. Wondering how Bellri thinks that it's fine to shoot your former comrade unless it's not Dellensen :p Well just more personal experience I guess. P.S. Dellensen and Cahill are absent from the collective shots in the ED, and are instead walking together with Bellri. Both of them are dead...surely that must symbolize that they both contributed to Bellri's character development, not that he's going to join them later? P.P.S. Aida-sama didn't seem to contribute anything to the battle again. |

| Poor bellri, it was unintentional to kill dellensen but obviously he blame himself for his death. I like how this show handles death, i think bellri's reaction was realistic. |
