| Why can't Taniguchi stop doing cgi anime? ID-0 was mediocre but this probably will be worse. I doubt it wil even get subbed before shitflix releases it internationally. |

| CGI doesn't look too bad. Synopsis sounds interesting and staff seems pretty good. Also that thing from from the recent PV is giving me Combine from Half Life vibes. Hope this ends up being good. |

Subbing groups essentially no longer exist, so that's easy to imagine. It's very unusual for anything to be fansubbed these days. Yet I disagree, actually, since ID-0 was decent. I liked it. Not the best thing ever, but perfectly watchable. There are too many CGI haters around here though. Which seems like a case of living in denial, since the industry will keep making 3D shows. It's not going to stop. That said...right now, I don't see what's necessarily "worse" about this new series. It seems like a normal premise for a story. Neither inherently good nor inherently bad. You can describe all sorts of shows in ways that sound similar on paper, but the details are what makes a difference in practice. |
