Uso is pretty ballsy going into a battlefield with a parachute like that. xD

The guillotine scared Uso for life poor guy keeps on having nightmares about it.

5/5

Uso using parachutes and then jumping into the cockpit, lol

Nice episode, It was good to see one more pilot. I hope they get a lot of new Mobile Suits

I still didn't understand what kind of relationship Uso and Shakti have. Looks like they're not brothers, so what are they? Cousins? Friends that were raised together? I hope they explain that.

Uso you silly goose, aim for the cockpit, not the throat. You don't slit a mech's throat.

"Your sight, my delight. Will you marry me?"

I don't mind Uso's constant change of resolution since he's the youngest pilot until now. But to constantly hear the adults discharge everything on him is annoying. Especially Marbeth, wasn't she supposed to be the pilot for the first Victory produced? The fact it was created for mass-production purposes makes it worse if only a child is really able to pilot it. And where are their other pilots for the additional V they were planning to make?
At least, a new (adult) pilot is here now.

3/5 Because of the titular Gundam's nature, I was expecting a duo or trio of Victory units to work together. I guess it won't happen.

They're definitely no relative: Uso is an Earthling and Shakti is without any doubt the (probably puppet) queen's daughter, but the reason of her abandonment is yet to be revealed. It looks like they spend some time together in the village where Uso's family lived. Uso also mentionned he was an illegal immigrant.

@Sapewloth Bingo, you won. ^^" He'll cope in a very singular way.

I have to agree with @Rei366 on this: the adults in this show are insufferable in their incompetence and tendency to leave it all to a single child. Marbet especially is particularly disappointing with her lack of an actual stance on the issue: one minute she chastises others for pushing Uso too far, then the next she says there's no choice but to use him because he's special. Doesn't change the fact that he's a kid and that the titular pilot is supposed to be you, you silly goose. Now I'm afraid Uso will have to work on his own and take most of the psychological damage for the majority of the show, and it makes me mad.

I am worried about MC mental state/PTSD after all... you don't ever get over it and his age may prove too much from him.

That parachute scene was so ridiculous, but some part me also really loved it haha. And I loved the location for the battle this episode! The half-sunken ruins of a city is such a unique setting and it makes me excited for what other fights in Victory might be like!

The League Militaire still isn't appealing to me though. The one guy going on about how they're not forcing Uso to be a murderer while also both putting him in a position where he feels like he has to defend everyone, and them just allowing themselves to be defended by him bugs me a lot. I get that they're supposed to be like a motley crew and Uso's the only reason they haven't been entirely killed off yet, but it's just not likable...

And it was surprising to see Katejina find beauty in Zanscare's mobile suits. Makes me wonder how her character's going to develop over the next couple ep's

Poor Uso. That opening scene with him watching the guillotine execution with lifeless bodies around him was brutal.

Love this show so far, but can we please stop with docking.. please?!?

The OP sounds like a song from some battle shounen anime. The narrator decided to tell me the same thing at the beginning for the 5th time.

Grandpa at the end of the previous episode: "Kill your enemies when you have a chance"
Grandpa now: "We're not asking you to murder people"

Uso's nightmare is motivating him well, it seems.

Still unclear how did Katajina manage to escape the same treatment as the Count. I predict a romance between her and Chronicle. And looks like the pink-haired lover of executions is heading straight for the guillotine herself (well, after the court martial). Ah, these references to the French Revolution.

P.S. Maria Armonia - an in-universe version of Marie Antoinette? I'm probably imagining things though.

I really like how believable Victory is. Uso is having a really hard time. Now he's afraid of being captured and executed by the Zanscare Empire.
