| I love this! Im so glad I picked this up! Treasures like this are the reason why I watch all the generic garbage every season. Just to find something out of this world like this. I would be totally happy if this where to run as long as one piece. Watching the characters mature and grow.. I just hope when the season is over it will be more then generic manga teaser material. |

| Boy, that ending was so sad. It's sad knowing this is probably the last time they'll all ever see each other again, considering the Abyss sounds like a point of no return. I mean if Riko's mom never returned, there's certainly no way Riko is ever going to return. And on that note, I'm fearing for her life. |
| From 8 to 9/10. That was a great and sad episode. Jeez. I was crying with Riko and Nat. I hope Regu and Riko's journey will be safe. And somehow the mystery of Abyss got me hooked into this show. It's really good concept! |

| Shinobu? Is that you?? I didn't know Maaya was in this... So, I guess in the next episode we'll start the Abyss adventures. A sad departure from her friends, but it looks like Riko and Reg both have something important waiting for them at the bottom. I wonder how dark this show will get. There are some hints already that it could get pretty dark; I hope it does! Eager to see where this show takes us next, regardless. |

The only way to make them relevant is by sending messages/items back and forth. But if Riko comes back to surface occasionally, then the story wouldn't be as exciting as it seems right now. I feel like if they spent this much time on those characters already they won't just toss them aside, and seeing how near perfect everything about this show is so far it's safe to assume so. Maybe they will be involved with a conflict concerning the foreigners mentioned in episode 2, or they may even go into the abyss themselves. Anything is a possibility at this point, and I'm super hyped to see what happens. |

| Pacing and worldbuilding are still strong! Now the real adventure begins. I'm already sad that there are only 13 episodes, there are probably tons of stories that could be told for each layer. |

| I have a theory what if Robot-kun/Regu was sent by Lyza, Riko's mom to the surface to get help or warn Riko of something? Regu has no memory because the Abyss distorted it or something. Regu is completely unfazed but poor Nat vomited mom's spaghetti. :( Aww, poor Kiyui is sick. I hope he doesn't die. TT__TT He might be sleepy all the time because of the curse of the Abyss too. Don't die, he's the cutest one in this series. It's birthday the day after tomorrow too. So it was Nat with that backstory of rag-picking and a sister dying, poor Nat, he doesn't want to see Riko go. |

| Now that the dramatic component has come to light, I can give the most realistic judgment on this anime series: although chara can mislead the true nature of the anime, this series really has all the cards in order to do well. The narration has succeeded in mixing the sad moments with the fun ones, without ever overcoming or being forced. Drawings, animations and landscapes, all very well done, of course also the OST did not disappoint. The narrator voice has given more pathos and drama to narrative. Touching Reg farewell to Kiyui. |

| As I expected, Riko is going after her mother in the Abyss, no matter how dangerous it is. Though it seems she has support from Regu, who thinks that going deep into the Abyss will help him figure out what exactly he is. "Your mom died a long time ago!" Shiiiit, Nat, way to be blunt. Well, the truth hurts sometimes. This hope that she's at the bottom of the Abyss is a bit ridiculous. I'm glad that Riko and Nat managed to make up by the end of the episode before she heads down to the Abyss, possibly to never be seen again...oh god I'm worried. Someone needs to stop these innocent kids. They really don't know what they're getting into. |

| I've got this nagging feeling Nat will pursue Riko and Reg later on. Dunno how but it's definitely not the last time we'll see him. That final exchange between him and Riko was super adorable. Overall a nice episode and finally a start towards something greater. |

| Aw, this was so sad ;A; I'm glad Riko and Nat made up though. They have a solid friendship. Hope Nat and Shiggy don't get into deep shit for helping out Riko and Reg down to the Abyss >< So far, REALLY good. I'm really concerned bc Riko is still only a 12 year old Red Whistle and it's considered "suicide" once a Red Whistle goes down TT^TT I wanna see how well she fares down there >< |

| Holy cow! This show rocks! I've heard nothing but good things about this show.. and I know why! First of all, the environment is beyond immersive and so cool looking that it sucks that I have to read subs (might have to re-watch the series.. nothing wrong with that). The OST is awesome, and the characters are so darn cute. Also, it reminds me of an old video game called Threads of Fate and even a little Legend of Mania. It's a fun adventure and I cannot wait to keep following along! |

| Nat's worry is totally acceptable, to think that a 12-year-old descending down into the unknown depths of the abyss is absurd but at the same time, exciting... So the REAL ADVENTURE has begun... That farewell, even if it's short will be one of the most memorable memories Reg and Riko will have. (If Nat is in love with Riko, it must've hurt to imagine what would happen to her as she and Reg are descending into the abyss) |

| The brief explanations given for each layer of the Abyss were very interesting and informative. I can only wonder about their future adventures further into the darkness. I liked how Reg remembered about Nat's story and warned Kiyui and how he remembered about his made up backstory. A very heartfelt farewell...and the start of a perilous journey. I can't help but think about the relics Reg found earlier being some kind of freaky onahole though. |

| Meh episode. If Ghibli's films are like this then count me out. I think that radiation poisoning still applies. Robot don't get affected unlike people. Hope Nat is ok. There is nothing amusing about this anime till now. When will the action pick up?(Seems that the anime looks like it is overhyped) Journey to the Center of the earth.  So white whistles are considered truth? I wonder when Riko will get all demented in the pit, considering only white whistles were able to stay sane. How did white whistles build up a resistance to whatever the thing is down in the pit? Some pics just for fun.  Fear can hold you prisoner, hope can set you free.  Rise. |
