| Before episode 6, the other episodes of Hajimete No Gal were kind of hard to follow in the sea of immature jokes. The show's writers didn't take anything to build up and pace themselves when making these episodes. So what you are left with is bad voice acting with cringeworthy dialogue/jokes. There is no pacing or space in between the jokes. I mean we are halfway through and Yame hasn't even brought up why she is with the main dude. But that could be changing since episode 6....was decent. It was much more focus and cleaner than the other episodes. Thanks to that, they were able to hit on a couple of jokes and setup a good beginning, middle, and end leading into the fanservice beach episode. If the show was written like episode 6, it wouldn't be getting crap on as bad as it is now if you ask me. What are your thoughts? |

| You have your points but i really enjoy the show how it is in every ep. Hajimete No Gal is an anime full of perverted jokes(thats why i like this anime!) 2.In my opinion the writers had a good idea because they made us ask "Why does Yame like that guy????"(just cant wait to see why....) 3.Yeah it is true that the ep 6 was the best ep so far but idk...I just enjoyed the stress from ep 1-5 more And i'd like to add that the writers were a little bit scared that people won't watch the anime so they added the "UNCENSORED" (even if there is nothing to censor) And hey!!! I like their voices and the cringy dialogue -_- All the things that u kinda not like are the reasons why this anime is special i just suggest that if you dont like the anime just stop wasting your time watching it. |

I have not seen episode 6 yet, but as far as I've seen, I agree with you. I really enjoyed the jokes (especially the jokes of the firsts episodes). However, the story started having no sense after the episode of the karaoke (come on, Yui Kashii or Nene Fujinoki's episodes were totally gratuitous). I hope things get better in episode 6 !! |

I am not asking for a super serious story, but wanting the episodes to feel more organize and less clog up with nonsense. The manga is quite good imo, Pretty good slice of life romance and comedy. The anime pv however. Seems directed on Fanservice without point. |
