I think the whole "punishment" scene made no sense. I guess if they want to cover up who captured stain because they are minors that would be fine, but to say their quirks were misused because the villain had injuries, that's just dumb. He was in the middle of killing someone, obviously he wasn't going to stop killing that person by someone using harsh language. Does that mean that no villain is allowed to be injured even if they are in the process of killing and refuse to stop? Stain was arrested but he was walking with the police, while some of the heroes left on stretchers, seems like his injuries weren't as bad.

Who would be willing to become a hero if the villain is able to kill or severely injure you, but if while you defend yourself or others you happen to injure the villain you get punished. Holding heroes to a higher standard is just a matter of investigating, was the amount of force used justifiable? If yes then no punishment. Clearly in this scenario where someone is being killed the amount of force used was justifiable.

True though What Iida did was possibly the furthest from self defense, he went after another person with the intent to kill for revenge, even if the Hero Killer was guilty. They have explained that people can use their quirks for self defense, but what they did, even if their motives were right (mainly Midoriya and Todoroki, trying to save their friend), they went after the Hero Killer even though they are just students without actual Hero licenses.

Luckily there were few witnesses and they can actually cover up what happened in that alleyway by saying Endeavor took him down.

I already really liked the hospital scene with the police chief, Midoriya, Iida and Todoroki in the manga and Bones did an awesome job at this part again, my highlight of the episode.

Overall it was a pretty exiting build up episode, Stain truly brought up a new wave of motivated villians there.

Also this

best girl finally appeared.

Toga chan huh? I'm more of a Tsuyu guy but guys who are in to her type of "crazy" are absolutely nuts about her lol.

I also love Tsuyu and Uraraka, the female cast in general is pretty good in BnHA and even tho it contradicts with the term best girl and how the community is defining it I have not just one, but many best girls in some shows hehe.

One Piece episode 914 & 915 & 1027 were a mistake and 957 brought the salvation - FMmatron

It's a bit frustrating that people won't know about what Midoriya and co. Did but all's good.

The hosu city policy chief tho.... Lol.
Seems like the League of Villains is getting more powerful too.

Can't wait for the characters to be back at UA tho...

Great episode.
The aftermath of the battle turned out to be something that influenced villains more. Nice.

Wow, didn't know All Might was 220 cm tall :O

I feel it's unfair for Stain to have been apprehended after the ending of the last episode!
It's ok I guess, but it only adds to the one dimensional nature of the series. I don't know what happens in the manga, but the lame league of villains (accidentally) taking advantage of his portrayal of sheer willpower and conviction is truly a letdown.
If stain doesn't somehow get out, the story goes from 10 to 8 for me. His character felt more real without any development than the kids. His agony with society is real, his conviction and motivation are real. He doesn't want to be the best hero/villain ever (like did it ever motivate you to want to be the richest/strongest in the world? Exactly), he focuses on the things immediately infront of him. What made him even more real, was how his quirk was handled which is friggin brilliant!
1v1 he can kill any hero because of his extremely amazing skill with blades and a quirk which he specialised for this. But even kids were able to beat him because of his quirks weakness, which becomes apparent in the alleyway fight.
Moreover I don't really like the way All for One and League of Villains are being handled.
Like... They portray that it was part of their plan somehow to have Stain beaten by kids who impulsively showed up at his scene even when the League leader tried his best distraction tactic by launching an unplanned attack on a whole city? Wow.
A brilliant plan I must say. Also I hate that palm guy. He's a waste of such a great character design. Even Bakugo was shown to be deeper than his angry mode in the sports festival (making him one of the less 1 dimensional character)! Shigaraki is impulsive. Wastes precious resources (Nomus) and time. Has no real plan of action. Has little to no skill. Then the show goes ahead and zooms in on his face in the end for an epic climax and calls it a day? Wtf! That dude literally did nothing but waste time! Everyone's time!

Now I sound like I hate the show, but I actually absolutely love it and this episode annoyed me, because it took out a real villain and replaced a fake show off into the spotlight. Like, how are all the awesome villains who we saw glimpses of going to follow the league of villains based on Stain's actions?? When they show up and knock on the door of his bar, they are going to see a brat with anger management issues who really is 180 degrees opposite of what Stain was and claims to be responsible for Stain's actions. If I was a powerful villain in that situation, I would head back and bury myself into the "deep, dark" hole I climbed out of! Kickback and watch Breaking Bad for the 7th time, instead of wasting my time on phonies. What a joke.
If they do end up following him, they may as well click on the "Hot Girl waiting 7 miles away" ads over and over wondering what went wrong with their lives.

The rest of the episode was good, nothing else to add really. Damn. Sorry for the rant though.

believe it or not, this story is as much about deku becoming a hero as it is about shigaraki becoming a proper villain. He is not a proper bad guy because he is growing.

Also, during stain and shigaraki's conversation, it became apparant that shigaraki was a noob bad guy who didnt even have a clear goal.He didnt like stain and wanted to kill him. But the outcome was unexpected but he took advantage of it.shigaraki took stain's creed or goal and used it for himself and recruited people. In a way, he also has grown-though its not as apparant as most character development.

This was a good wrap up, calm down episode. I don't have a lot to say other then that. The Police Chief was a very surreal experience and I hope to see more of him.

The next episode appears to be a filler episode and while filler usually isn't the most high quality story telling, I predict that this show will give us Filler done right. An exploration into what characters were doing during their internships is something I want to see.
So yeah, I'm ready for the next one

And that is how we segway from one of the best arcs of the series into the NEXT best arc of the series XD

The revelations of One for All, as well as the arch-nemesis All for One, were slightly sprinkled in, but enough to whet appetites for sure.

A little disappointed in the anime-only content of next episode, but I'll forgive it if it means Tsuyu gets the shine-time that she truly deserves with her internship.

Todoroki the Hand Crusher. Oh god, if that becomes his hero name. XD!!!

I could not help myself laughing while Kacchan looked so triggered in the background.

Ah... I am excited for the surge of villains that is to come.

I have a strong feeling that Stain's story will be similar to Scar's from Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. (You'll get it if you've seen that anime.) He's not dead yet so there is a possibility for an epic comeback for season 4... Perhaps he will wait till he heals fully and then seek revenge from the League of Villains who used him to attract more evil from the shadows, which was obviously not his intention at all. Ah... I really don't want to read the manga because I want to keep guessing.

I wish this show would have many many seasons. TT

Once again BONES knocking it out of the park with this adaption. Season 3 is surely a must with the massive sales the anime is bringing in.

Also, for anyone wondering what an actual handcrusher looks like;

Next episode is entirely anime-original content, however it seems Horikoshi had some input. I'm fine with it, as there's still plenty of time to cover the last arc for Season 2.

Wait how do people know that Stain was connected to the League of Villains, or that the League of Villains represents Stain's ideology?
“Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's first law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only, truth. But the world isn't perfect, and the law is incomplete..." -Alphonse Elric

"Then and now, what I protect has never changed!" -Sakata Gintoki

I kind of happy about it being a filler. Looks like they're really trying to flesh out the side cast. I really doubt this filler will be useless. They added it to improve the quality of the series. They could have easily just made the series 24 episodes. It's almost bonus content.

In real-world law, you are allowed to apprehend your assailant, but there may still be penalties if you cause grievous harm, even in the name of self defense.

In a world with superpowers, regulations would have to be even stricter. As the chief said, they gave him several broken bones and severe burns. Midoriya's punches to his face alone would be enough to leave permanent brain damage, Todoroki's fire could cause permanent scarring and limb contractures, whereas his ice could cause frostbites requiring amputation, Iida's vehicle-grade collisions could cause internal organ rupture.

Being a hero is about stopping wrongdoing. It's awfully hypocritical if you achieved that by permanently disabling the perpetrator.
