Oh yeah, Favaro is back!! I thought he will come back later after episode 12 or something, but the faster the better, eh...
But, I kinda get Jack Sparrow vibes from him now, like the last Pirate of Carribbean movie. A character that main characters need to help them accomplish their goals...
Don't like it? Just stop watching/reading it. Why become a masochist that keep going through something you don't like and bitching in the end of it?

Charioce is usually the biggest BA, but in that 3 way fight there were a few moment where Kaisar, of all people, snatched the title of biggest badass from him.

And yeah, Favaro. It's hilarious how imprisonment turned him into a bandit hobo, looks wise, while for Kaisar it made his pretty boy factor go up due to his hair now down.

I felt that the fight in this ep was not so dynamic as before. Although the graphics was awesome, it wasn't that good in whole.
And how Nina couldn't recognize Charioce/Chris when she appeared? It was broad daylight and they were not so far from each other. Ok, later Charioce was too far away or his features were hidden in the shadows. I don't like Charioce at all. He seems to be a totally indefferent and self-satisfied bastard to me. Maybe he has his own reasons, but either way his acts are not much better than how demons beheaved towards people. It was nice how he was being lectured by Nina.
On the other hand I disappointed in Nina. I thought she is a bit smarter. At least she tried her best to transform.

I'm really curious what Mugaro will be doing. I won't believe to Gabriel. She had the face of a candyman while speaking about wether he would like to see her mother again. I hope Mugaro won't let himself being used by angel. I would like to see the faces of angels when he declares in his own silent way that he would also like to save Azazel.
Oh, and poor Azazel :( He was thoughtless, but I guess he realized his own failures. I hope he would be ok and someone will set him free from prison. I guess that he underwent a great character development and is really promising.

There's only one thing though I could not understand. Why are demons (and angels) so weak? They should have magical powers at least. And how was humans able to overpower them in the first place?

So Favaro's back. I can see Kaisar yelling Favarooo again :S Maybe I'm the only one here who was not a fan of Favaro at all. But at least people will cease whining about him at last.

Not gonna lie, the moment when Kaisar blocked Charioce's sword with his hand was really badass. Too bad he ended captured anyway.

I had a feeling that Favaro would be in the prison, and as soon as the after-credits scene played out, I realized that was indeed the case. So glad to be right, even though he looks like shit. Now it's time for a prison break.

Oh well Favaro's back. Guess I'll follow the mob... "Hooray, hooray hooray".
Guess there's no end when it comes to Kaisar's nonsense. Still that's what makes Azazel able to fight another day, until this day. But thankfully Nina really said what Kaisar should said long time ago at that court.

Yeah and Azazel is a high rank demon or something, right? Isn't he supposed to be stronger than usual demon? Demon like him could easily beat human without weapons. The power levels in this show is weird. Even if humans have magic they're still humans. Still, this is a great show.

To me it seems demons are greatly weakened somehow. In the first season Favaro stabbed Azazel in the chest with a sword, run it all the way through and Azazel was unfazed. He said he can’t be harmed by human weapons. It looked like high level demons couldn’t be hurt by anything except god magic. They could also perform devastating feats of magic. For instance, Azazel’s henchmen (lion headed demon) summoned a tornado that almost destroyed the capital’s walls. It looks like that not only can the green energy incapacitate demons when they are caught by it but the king did something that has greatly dampened the power and magic of demons in general. This may be the reason he was able to destroy the demon capital. And I still want to know what Lucifer is doing. He should be by far the most powerful demon of all.

When I look back at the previous episode discussion threads I see just how ugly they looked like with fans whining they want Favaro back. It wasn't like he wouldn't appear at all, duh. All that mattered was some patience, now ya can all swim in an ocean of satisfaction that he's finally back.

I admire Nina. One moment she's like "Please~"(so hilarious), and in the second one she's freaking BOLD, spitting those words to the King.

Felt so sorry for Azazel when he was about to cry.

By the way, big props to MAPPA for the amazing action scenes. I enjoy how smooth they are.

Nina and Kaiser really lost this show for me. Her with her indecisiveness and inability to read the mood, him for his wishy washy attitude and charging into a fight with no plan for a favorable outcome. did he really think that just beating Charioce would set everyone free? This man is a goddamn idiot. Even Nina's speech before getting taken away couldn't win things back for me. I don't remember feeling so frustrated when watching the first season. Azazel may have failed to plan ahead, but these two idiots exacerbated the problem when they really didn't need to.

Thank god Favaro is back finally. Lets see how the true main character will finally get everyone out of this situation.

Kaiser was so epic at the beginning, his fighting skills outmatch both the King and Azazel when they both attack him, and he's not even breaking a sweat. And then fucking finally we have the REAL protagonist, can't believe he got locked himself up in prison.

But he mostly does? He drops top-tier black knights easily. Only plot-armored guys are a problem for him. And he seems to be weakened as mnedel said.

I mean that the "poor oppressed demons need to be freed" narrative doesn't work for me without nuance, and the show doesn't provide any. Demons are physically and magically superior, they're either evil or not friendly to humans, and, as far as I remember, it was their army that humans fought with Jeanne in the first season, they got Bahamut to rage. They aren't a harmless innocent underdog. What makes Kaisar think that demons want peaceful cohabilitation? Azazel sure doesn't seem to, on the opposite he wants to make humans suffer for his humiliation, while he killed them for fun before. We don't see any friendly or humane demons. Is Kaisar ok with humans being killed?
Nina is not right in that only demons built human cities, Kaisar is not right in that the threee races stood together out of sympathy or wish to work together. The previous status quo wasn't good for humans.

Yeah, Charioce puts humans at risk with his actions, yeah, oppression and slavery is very bad and will bite them in the ass in the end, it's just that simply "letting the poor demons free" is not enough for their plan to look sympathetic.

The show is good so far, but too many plot problems can put me off it, and it sadly starts to look as a possibility.

This episode made me remember how much I liked Jeanne D Arc in the first season, I hope we will see more of her. Despite beeing generic like the whole plot of season 1, she was kinda special.

Overall I like this season (plot) more then the first one. But I would still like to have Amira back. Nina is nice and all but her character screams "SoL, ecchi, romcom ... etc. anime!" to me.
That beeing said, the production quality is insanely high. facial expressions and stuff like that are meh, but thats what we have these days. The rest definitely raised the bar.

Also FAAAVAAAROOO is finally here. But also in prison. I was expecting him to safe Kaisar and Nina, but this explains his absence so far.

Dat prison's gonna get awfully loud very soon ~ Kaisar,Nina,Jean & FAVAROOO!

That aside, Kaisar was so badass when stepping in between Chaorice & Azazel, pretty much owning both of 'em ~ knocking Azazel aside & then the epic way he disarmed the king ~ all with a look on his face that was just saying "get on my level boy".

Why are you saying it as if a story must always have someone who is right? Especially now when everything tries to show only shades of grey? Normally there's someone to serve as an emotional anchor, but I think that an entertaining unlikeable cast is also possible.

I am pretty sure that neither Charioce nor Azazel should be seen as acting the right way by design of the show. Structurally and as far as it looks from the plot we're supposed to root for Kaisar, Nina and her company. But what I am saying is that I find it hard because a lot of problems with Nina's and Kaisar's stance are not addressed. You, me and everyone else can root for who we find right/attractive or nobody and debate our points of view.

The way i see it everyone is in the wrong here.

The Demons used to treat humans as nothing than disposable playthings and done horrific stuff to them so you can see why they are being repressed by them.

However what the humans are doing are also bad cause of them treating them like shit and slavery is never a good way to treat anybody.

The Gods are still arrogant and have the superiority complex where they feel humans should still worship and pray to them. I am actually hoping their overconfidence might come back to bite them. they seriously need a wake up call.

The Only real solution to all of this is to create an equality factor to this cycle otherwise this is just going to be continued in a loop.

that was a rather disappointing rebellion. The two interesting demons after Azazel just died. Bacchus and his duck got captured. Kaisar is probably still going to be a knight for the king (although is fight with Azazel and the king was pretty nice) and I still don't know if Mugaro is a boy or a girl. Seriously...

ahh well I guess Kaisar lost his position at least. Guess it'll get interesting soon then. I have no idea what is going to happen now. There is not really a bigger picture like there was in the first season. So far it was all about Azazel wanting revenge and, well, they could still go for that but who is going to follow Azazel after all of this? They'd need to rescue him first on top of that.

Seems like the angels want to stop Charioce? Seems ridiculously thoughtlessly. Although I guess he could invade their area as he did with the demons.

FINALLY FAVARO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Explains why he wasn't in the first episodes. But how the fuck did he end up in there!?

That 1v1v1 fight was just amazing imo. I don't get the hate on Nina, I think she is a great main character. I'm really hyped about what's gonna happen on the next episode actually though, how will they escape prison? Also I'm curious about Bacchus and the duck's past etc. Wonder what happened and they got kicked from the heavens. Really stoked for the new episode. Overall though I found this one really great!

Me neither. I don't know as a main, but as a character she's definitely awesome. Her airheadness is hilarious; she's there to break all the serious mood around. It's such a pleasant feeling having her in this series.
