| Awesome episode. I prefer when the series revolves around aesthetic matters rather than political affairs. This episode had both an "absolute" disquisition and a political disquisition about aesthetics, and they both were great. |
| Personally I find the extremeness of simplicity in this case to be dull on the eyes. It is the exact opposite of some of the gaudiness 'eyesores' at the beginning of the series that Oribe was obssessed with. I mean I get that it is highly dependent on your attitude, your philosophy for uncomplicated peace etc... But nah, I would much rather go home to Oribe's estate than this dump. |

| Highlight of this episode was seeing Sasuke naked, tbh. I've noticed as this series gets closer to the end, Sasuke is becoming more attractive as a character and as a man. He seems more refined and level headed now than he was before. I like him but this show is still boring as heck. Can't wait to see Osen again. She's like a ray of sunshine on a cloudy day. |

| Oribe was caught in Hechikan's pace. I really liked their interaction, and that opening of the wall was impressive from Oribe. I like how Rikyu will say something harsh without batting an eye. Highlight of the episode was Souji's frustration. |

| The bitter over the samurai mistreating the merchants is well-founded; I can't remember if it was Hideyoshi or it happened later but at some point the Shogunate officially imposes a four-class system on Japanese society and merchants are the lowest class. |
