DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Looks like an episode about piano and background storytelling regarding Hyde. I have to admit, the piano music is pretty classic and bought a melancholic story. This episode had a different feel to it imo with characterization on Orphelia. |

Yes, I had the same problem :D When these subclasses in the wale (?) costumes appeared, I knew something wasn't quite right. Deja-vu! Good, then it wasn't just me. I hope they somehow update the new episode. |
| FUNimation made a mistake with the episode and all other streaming sites have now episode 9 instead of episode 10, lol. Anyways, the episode was sad, but good at the same time. Ophelia was so pretty animated as well |

| Very good episode, Very nice characterization for Lawless brought out through his past. It was very interesting to see that Lawless who jumped from one Eve to another before meeting Licht was actually attached to Ophelia. Ophelia was a very nice character, Tragic death for her but her final words were spoken with real heart and a true desire for peace. :) Though I don't see why her country would launch an attack on the very country she was married into. Lawless's descent into nihilistic views after seeing Ophelia's statue break apart was sad. :( Was cool of Licht to help Lawless get a hold of himself after all these years. Loved the part where he showed Lawless through his music that it was alright to reach for whatever he wanted and become whoever he wants to be, I suppose we always need some greed in our lives. xD It's true that this episode seems a bit too much given we only a have a few more left and that we need to move the plot forward, However I think the strong points of this episode especially with Lawless breaking out of his shell clearly outweigh the complaints regarding it not moving the plot forward. This development could always play a major role in the following episodes. |

| This was the best episode so far... I don't really like Mahiru and I don't really care about the plot as I find it a little boring and disappointing (I was expecting way more before the anime started), so this episode was perfect to keep me motivated to watch this untill the end. |

| Damn I actually cried hard! XD To me that was the best episode so far! This is what was missing ( and is still missing) to this show: character development! And time to get to know each one of them! |
| I'm happy they showed Hyde's past, I thought they would skip it. I think the main reason they did it was because the final fight is short and 2 EPs for it will be perfect. Wow big spoilers in the preview of the next ep, really huge... |

| The only peace Ophelia wanted was the peace found in death (presumably). She gave up. She left peacemaking to everyone else because she didn't want to be alive to do it herself. And she left someone who loved her so much. She was a bitch yo. Selfish. I feel so bad for Lawless. |

| Such an amazing episode! This show could have been so much more, it's really a shame that it is only 12 episodes, we didn't really get to see Wrath and servamp like Pride has not really been fully fleshed out. I wish this was a 2-cour. Licht and Greed is my favorite pair of the series thus far. EDIT: Also, I don't get people who claim this to be irrelevant or is a filler episode, this claim is entirely false. This is not a filler episode, even though it doesn't have an immediate effect on the plot yet, saving Greed will increase their military prowess by a tons, and Licht is just as strong. I don't get people who have no patience to sit through a "side character" (not side character, supporting character who has a lot of screen time, only second to the protagonist at this point) backstory. I feel like you guys just have no interest in this show and are just watching it because it's airing. To the user above me, tear jerk plot device? Or character development plot device? Just because it's sad doesn't mean that it serves nothing more than just a sob story. It's the most (or second most) important plot point because that one event shaped Greed's character and changed him forever, and because of that one event, he came to hate Sloth's ultimate decision to take up the responsibility to end the Creator's life by himself. |

| I'm binge watching this series today and so far this has been its best episode yet. And it's not even about the main characters! It was a sad story, the classical music complimented it nicely. |
