| So after the first four episodes in, I am totally confident in saying that Bakuon!! is the most underrated show this spring. 6.42 for a show THIS good? Unbelievable. So people who are watching this show and are loving it like me, what are your opinions on this? On a side note, my top 3 underrated shows this season: 1) Bakuon!! (By far the most underrated) 2) Kuma Miko (Too good to be rated at 7.08) 3) Endride (It has cryptic dialogues and you don't really know whats going on but I think it'll improve. It's rated even below 6.00 and that is just shoving it down.) |
| It definitely deserves at least a 7. I said as much in another thread last week. It's girls, their designs/personality/chemistry, beat out several other shows with a primarily female cast this season like Sansha Sanyou and Anne Happy. For me anyway. |
| Should be at least a 7, if not closer to 8, based on how funny it is. I think a lot of people just watched one episode and rated it low (if they even watched the entire episode). I'm still undecided on Kuma Miko though. The loli fan service is really off putting, even if it has some really funny moments. |
| Bakuon's pretty good, but keep in mind scores while airing don't mean much since the majority of people (like me) don't score until the show is done. Here we have 2800 scores on 11400 viewers, so that's like 24%. |

| Most scores on myanimelist are completely inflated and overated, 5-7 seem like perfectly reasonable scores for theses shows it's only surprising because of how highly everything else is. Keep in mind that people who like everything and use a scale from 9 to 10 often only watch the most popular shows which is why steampunk attack on zombies for example has such a high score. Bakuon would be rated higher if it was more popular but it has about 100 000 less ppl entries than kabenari. The fact that it has worst girl Suzuki girl with the least appealing fanservice in a while, hit and miss comedy and inconsistent art isn't helping it either. Kuma miko isn't even good. |

| I only a agree with Endride. It is underrated, I say it deserve around 6.5 score so far, and it has the potential to be better in the future (it is 2 cour long) I dropped Kuma Miko after 1 episode, it was so boring and comedy was not not funny at all. Bakuon!! is average. It would have been better if it has some racing competition, but so far it is just mediocre comedy series. It does not deserve more than 6.42 The most underrated series in this season in my opinion is Endride, Terra Formars Revenge, Seisen Cerberus and Hundred. I'm not saying that those are great shows, but I think they deserve higher score |

| Besides Hai-Furi, it's the best cute girls doing cute things show this season. Anne-Happy fell off after it's genuinely heartwarming 1st episode. And Sansa Sanyou is just a little too mundane. Those two declined after their otherwise very good premiere episodes, unlike Bakuon and Hai-Furi. |
| I'd add Kuromukuro to this list of criminally underrated shows, but it's only airing on Netflix Japan so most people probably haven't seen it. The only way to get it outside of Japan is gg fansubs at the moment. Eventually it will be on Netflix outside of Japan, but I don't think they have a date yet. |
| I cant say its criminally underrated for Bakuon, but more like expectedly underrated because TMS Entertainment is not exactly famous and their graphic quality is no match to KyoAni. My 1st impression after reading the synopsis is: cute girls in motorcycle club? hmmm must be a lame attempt to make a story about lame club activity. But then I got curious & finds out it was really funny & loveable. I give them 7-8 for now. Will give them 9 if not because of the low quality in term of graphic. |

| The bike wash scene from the most recent episode got me slightly interested in the show. Will check it out eventually when I'm lacking in material. |

| Bad pacing, badly delivered jokes, bad adaptation overall. Onsa should have had more cheesy lines with Uchiyama Yumi as her VA, such a waste. Oh.. and raimu's burning bike animation is...ugh...disgusting. |

| This series is one of my favorites this season, yes. But the rating doesn't really come at a surprise. MAL users generally don't like bizarre comedies or standard SOL shows (with a few exceptions of course). It'll likely get a boost when it ends anyway. (If bloody Active Raid (which I fucking loved by way, but mostly everyone else who watched it called it mediocre at best or completely awful; and the latter is why I was surprised it even got a boost when it ended) did than I can't see why this won't) |
| I've given the show a temporary rating of 6 (a low-6 to be precise). But in my terms, that's a pretty decent score. I don't really go off the score guide that MAL gives. If a show holds my interest and entertains me, it's a 5. A 6 means it's better than average and is quite enjoyable. For a 7 rating, there has to be something distinctive. It has to click in a kinda personal way. I can definitely see this being a 7 for those who love bikes and ride one themselves. animefan8800 said: It definitely deserves at least a 7. | well nope, it's bad. for some reason people were comparing it to K-On! and first few episodes had this vibe. now if they were to keep it up that would be great - I like cute girls doing cute things series and had hight expectations for this. but than we've got that stupid fanservice, characters that make no sense (what is the deal with that girl in helmet?) and lack of humor. so 3/10 is more appropriate. |
