| Boring and shoujo-ish episode, everything screams CLICHE CLICHE CLICHE. (Maybe they aim to cater for female audience that's why there are so many dumb things happening this episode), the writing is bad, just listen to some of the dialogue... super cringeworthy, the characterization has been done million times i'm bored already, the jokes are unfunny, FREE's jokes especially when it involves Nagisa, Haruka and Rei are mileeesss funnier than this, but i hope this anime wont be as melodramatic as free later on. I'm curious about their first match, the three member of that red school talk and act like they came from cheap shoujo manga...(there are good shoujo and bad shoujo you know the difference) The ED visual is so cool and the boys from that other school looks so good, while on actual episode they looks kinda meh |

| I agree with Hozumi for best girl. <333 But.... I did actually enjoy the episode. While it was a little slow, I'm sure the series will pick up the pace soon! Especially since they're already having their first match in the next one! Can't wait to see what goes on!! (And yeah, it does feel a tad like Free.... cept running instead of swimming. xDD But I like it so far, nonetheless) |

| Whoa, that moment when he wore that dress was so gay. Other than that good episode, which developed more the relationship between the main characters. First match next episode! 3/5 |
| Kyosuke and Yagami's brother, Tomoe will probably be one of the best striders. Lot's of fan service this episode for the ladies, especially Kohinata. This episode feels kinda slow compared to the first one, but hopefully the stride battle next episode will make up for it. |

It surprises me when people don't know this OT: Hopefully they just focus on the sport element as that's the only thing that the show has got going for it. Yagami's brother and also his past being mentioned is probably something that is delved into more in the source material. Not much an anime can do with that, unless it gets rid of the useless jokes but that would make it less cheerful. |

Is it standard practice to look into the source material before watching an anime nowadays? And even if I did, I still wouldn't necessarily know what an otome game is. I mean that doesn't strike me as common knowledge. |
| first half kinda felt like slice of life scene and the second half was the real thing. i just want to see the sport though....... can't wait for next episode. | Just started this: Unusual sport to be seeing in anime. Neat. Epic running parkour track racing sport. It's like rally racing on foot. Another anime that's lively with all the characters interacting: not taking turns like a screenplay. Diff chars doing diff things simultaneously and overlapping. Animation's inherent advantage over VNs and literature. ps: otome game is bishoujo game for girls, it's reverse dating sim. It's common knowledge in japan. |

| Hmm, felt refreshing as the first. A lot of focus in Fujiwara and Yagami, running and some funny moments with Hasekura's older sister and Kohinata, lol. He does look good as a girl. Also, the introduction of Suwa Reiji. Seems like a cool guy, hope he doensn't have a hidden personality. Expecting the appearance of Yagami Tomoe in front of the guys soon as well |

I'm bisexual, that should answer your question. But, regardless, I'm not enjoying fan service with male characters. It just feels weird. I love sports, and I like anime sports to be entirely focused on it. Free! was, they were pretty much always talking about swimming. But doing photo shoots, nah. I don't enjoy the character design that much. |

I kind of understand where you are coming from. Photo shoots don't have anything to do with the sport at all, they weren't even wearing team uniforms or anything. At least then it would have made a lot more sense... But they did use it for plot purposes in meeting future opponents and the information on the brother of one of the mains. I'm pretty meeeeeh on it, feelings are pretty split on the whole thing. |

| It was alright episode. While I got quite a few laughs throughout episode and it's nice to see the guys working to improve but still, it wasn't great. Hopefully next episodes will be better. Also, Takeru is truly a mix between Haru and Kageyama (especially pre-Karasuno). He has Haru's looks and sometimes his eyes with interest just like Haru's but he's also as serious about stride as Kageyama is about volleyball. That part about Takeru being unwilling to compromise really reminded me of the "King of Court". Let's see if Takeru can get at least some character development in that area. |

| Nice episode. Not as much action, but we got more characterization and progress. I'm surprised that their very first match is with that super strong school, I don't think I like that much. If they win, it would be ridiculous since they just reformed and this school is supposed to be really good. If they lose, then we only get to see one match. Anyway, I'm looking forward to episode 3. |

| I gave Ep1 a 9, but Ep2 fell to a 6. The character presentation (their ways, their personalities) felt too forced for me. It felt unnatural, it didn't feel like flowing. It feels like the anime is trying hard, exerting and imposing the characters, when it should just flow freely. The episode feels tight, not in the sense that many happenings are crammed in the 24 minutes. It just feels too tight and crammed, because of all the forced character presentation. |

D's NUTS these characters are really bland and i swear... there are these character archetypes in every other otome game adaptations. glasses guy seems like the most entertaining but he seems irrelevant really. The slice-of-life elements aren't entertaining/original and i feel like it is included for fanservice rather than characterization/development. Predictions for next episode: they lose, but conveniently there is a bigger tournament (or i might be wrong and this is the biggest... didnt pay attention) and they will train for the rematch. if this show focuses on characterization/drama instead of the sport, it better be done well but idk im already bored with the pacing and even the mystery behind the blond guy's brother etc |

| Yeah, the filler stuff was kind of overboard. I understand they needed to take model shoots but during the second episode? It was fun to watch but makes the flow a bit disconnected. The only "sports" scene that was done really well was the second time when the Takeru and Riku reached maximum speed and high fived before the thing. Seiyuu comments: The ED is A+++ Toshi and Mamo's singing were was amazing! |

| THE FANSERVICE IS STRONG IN THIS EPISODE..... well no really that alot but was fun lol, even we got "Armin" being an absolute trap xD and is nice that we gotta have a race the next episode instead of wait until the end of the season :D |

| Fujiwara is like the Haruka Nanase (from Free! Iwatobi Swim Club) of Prince of Stride. He's always ready to go running. If it involved stripping down to his birthday suit I'm pretty sure he'd do that too. Kohinata dressed up as a girl LOL he reminds me of Yukinohjo from Yamato Nadeshiko because he looked so pretty dressed up as a girl, they'd always do that to him even though he was straight and had a girlfriend. Obviously, the subject of Riku's brother is really touchy. I think deep in his heart he has a hatred for stride because it must've taken his "aniki" away from him or something. Like his brother focused more on stride than their relationship. I'm waiting for him to explode and yell at people, he's a happy-go-lucky guy but I'm sure he's pissed that people are pushing him into stride. Also, I didn't like the modeling session that much. I hate it when shoujo anime has a modeling episode it's like the quintessential beach episode in shounen mangas. Unnecessary and unrelated to the plot and mainly for fanservice. |
