| This is great! :D The opening was just excellent. That Charmander and Squirtle scene scared me so much. Red is like Ash. Only difference is that Red grew up. |

| A great pokemon adaptation is here, what else you can ask for? Too bad it's only 4 epsodes. Red is awesome, trying to steal other people's pokemon. Lol squirtle raped charmander there. So he won against Brock, not bad. Rushed but well-done. A great episode. |

| Nostalgia hit me with this episode Seeing Red throwing pokeballs at all pokemons really reminded me of my naive days of playing pokemon....until I used some cheats to make it work for owned pokemon.... This version of Brock is like the cool version compared to the one in the originsl series with Ash |

| This honestly for me is very nostalgic. An anime based around Pokemon that's adapting the games. Yes, yes, yes, yes. I'm liking this, I'm liking what I see so far. I like how they are fitting stuff from the games from Professor Oak's dialogue, the music, even the health-bars when the Pokemon battling each other in Brock's gym were there I thought was a very nice touch there. As nostalgic as I am to the main Pokemon anime and it being a thing that would get me into anime later on in life, there's nothing more satisfying than just seeing the ol' gameplay aesthetics as well as seeing Red take centre stage here. Plus he even has the same voice as Naruto, albeit the Japanese voice for him, but I don't mind and still I'd say a pretty neat episode nonetheless. |

| Having seen everything up until Pokemon Best Wishes and re-watching this after 10 years feels so good. The animation is beautiful and looks great in battle. Damn, that bite attack by Squirtle was hard to watch, it looked brutal. |
