His relationship with Ronja is much better now imo and in fact something I would even call as close to being the closest he has to a family. |

| Birk and Ronja getting to meet every morning! Didn't imagine that the Borka robbers are struggling with food by that much. Having to climb a rope ladder in heavy wind and snow :/ Sharing a secret between them :3 The two was really close with each other! It was nice to see the simple moments they shared. Ronja giving food to Birk to keep him alive. The preview with everyone naked in the snow, looks like fun! |

| The way Mattis ended up getting away from his lice checking :P Ronja is just doing what she has been taught all the time, stealing. She is giving away food to the "enemy" therefore one can only imagine of the things Mattis would do if he found out. |
| Birk is so cute I don't know what to do with myself~! Also. . . Are there no other swedes here?? I sorta wanna get an opinion from someone else who read/watched this when they were kids. Many of my friends are still refusing to watch the anime version >.< |

| I like how Birk was talking about his family's current misfortune while trying to keep a happy face. This little guy is way mature than his age. Nice seeing Ronja bringing foods for him everyday. Such great siblings. (^^) Very decent episode, once again. A lot of fanservice incoming next week though. |

I just love the way he talks and his expressions. <33 Ronja's voice and way of talking is really cute too, like when she was complaining about old saltfish and long winters. XD And Ronja just called Birk handsome! Lovely stuff, they might end up together in the end after all. (Though I haven't read the books, so I wouldn't know.) Probably my favorite episode for the sole amount of Ronja and Birk. :D Their conversations are light-hearted but serious, and sometimes strange, but I love their interactions. And Ronja giving him food and taking care of him is very sweet. |

Waiting for each episode eagerly and I consider the anime really well done and a perfect match to the book. I guess Ronja-book is not actually thick enough plot-wise, but I kind of like how they animate little details, which are mentioned in passing in the book (like the lice-combing thing and washing up Ronja in this episode). The anime does make me feel very happy! :) I think, people who have not read the book, need to stop expecting a action-fantasy series from this, when it really is a slice of life (the book was also, most of Lindgren's books are sol, I think probably Mio and Brothers Lionheart and the Blomqvist-series being the exceptions of not being pure sol). |

Wonderful news to me! I could sit through this show with everyone just talking and I'd still enjoy it. The dialogue and voices are really good! Ronja's voice in particular is very expressive, and that laugh of Birk... <3 Out of curiosity, I checked out the movie (and spoiled myself of the ending :P) And judging from that I could see the anime is much more detailed, and thank goodness for that, because I have no means to get the book! |

| Aww Birk and Ronja :D It's really sad that Birk and his family are not getting enough to eat. Birk is so mature, able to laugh his suffering away (well not really, but he's good at coping) and also for feeling bad for taking from Ronja. It was interesting though when Ronja said since she's a daughter of a robber, she's just learning from them and stealing to give her "kyoudai" food. Makes sense if you think about it that way :P Birk is important to her, so of course she wouldn't want to see him, or even the people he cares about have to suffer. The winter is really harsh. |
| Still not quite sure how I feel about Ronja self talking, but it was a good episode. And hey, the self talking was definitely less than the previous episode, which is good. By the way, does anybody know how well this anime show is doing in Japan? Because this show is definitely not doing well around here. |

| THIS is the cutest thing! It's strange for them to call each other "kyoudai" when they're going to fall in love? Ah, nevermind. just being picky. Matthis group have such a HUGE food stock. Do they seriously hunt and pick that out?! And yet the Borka are poor? |

| Well, Mattis Castle is up in the mountains, the King's soldiers cannot reach them that easily or attack them without risk, while the Borka lived in the woods and probably had to change locations to escape the soldiers. I guess Mattis have to steal food Lovis can't grow or have otherwise - wheat, different beans, oil, clothes and weapons. It's easier to steal or trade them, such that the stock reaches a surplus till spring comes. The Borka have it bad this winter, without a roof to hide during the long winters, and they brought whatever they had salvaged in the escape. Climbing that steep slope and the north castle wall helped as much to give them shelter, but nothing else really, not even water. |

I've only seen the live-action movie and never read the book but I'm really enjoying this series, even if it's really slow at times. one or two of my friends don't really wanna watch this series because of the 3D animation which is a bummer. Once you get past it the series is just amazing and being a much better adaptation than I thought it would be. |
