| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Pretty relaxing episode. Kinda fun watching Ronja and Birk enjoying nature and be themselves. Birk also seems to be familiar with horses huh? Second half of the episode felt more intense though with that race. Horses can be so wild.. |

| I've seen the movie... but that preview still gave quite a spoiler for the next ep...0_0 I like how the harsh winter was connected with why Borka robbers ambushed Mattis robbers, something you can only assume in the movie, which also gives off more of a 'because they're jerks' vibe. That scene is also very telling of how much more childish Mattis is compared to Borka. Besides... Ronja, Birk stop looking at each other like lovers! I'm gonna melt... >ω< |

| I love the pacing of this so much! It ties together some things that I never really got in the movie as a kid. The preview tough. . . .HORY FUDGE!! He looks 50 times more beat up than in the movie! Don't kill Birk!! X'O Can't wait for the next ep! |
| The 2002 Tokyo Mew Mew adaptation is not as great as you remember it being. |
| The first half was indeed relaxing with the two enjoying their time! The horse taming part was surprisingly enjoyable, it almost felt like a game when Ronja made that sound. Feeding the horse like that! It was nice to see how Ronja and Birk was able to laugh and enjoy themselves no matter what! Mattis's maturity in front of Borka lol. The Borka's robbers are surprisingly daring to shoot arrows with their boss in the sight. Peace being broken as Sturka is injured. Ronja being able to keep a tough appearance and think rather calmly despite her feelings. That preview with the Mattis's robbers getting mad and Birk getting captured and roughen up :/ Wonder how the equilibrium would be established again, perhaps Ronja has to do something. |

| Wow, it suddenly escalated into violence. The Borka robbers are undisciplined though! He ignored his bosses orders. Thankfully I think he'll live. I thought it was a headshot when that scene happened. >_< BIRK!? That was such a shock, one moment it's a preview of Ronja arguing with Mattis, then talking about the dispute with Birk, then next scene is Birk all beaten up?? His face looks terrible. Why do I have to wait until next week?? QQ |

Borka actually asked nicely and threw away his pride yet Mattis is just caught up on the brainwashing he had when he was younger that Borka robbers are their enemies. But ugh, now everything is going downhill just because that stupid guy didn't listen to his leader!!! Like what??? -_- Poor Birk in the preview ;__; That will be heartbreaking to watch. Also, beating up a little boy isn't the way to go guys. Unless I'm wrong that they didn't beat up Birk, which I doubt. |

| This eo was so fun just seeing Birk and Ronja have fun together. The ending was so sad I felt bad...things look tense between daughter and father. Oh god that preview, seeing Birk like that made me want to cry, he's so good to Ronja he doesn't deserve what he's going to get. :( |

| The squirrels were particularly nice this episode. Birk getting wrecked in that preview. Can't wait to see Ronja stepping up for him. |

| Man, I'm also getting angry at Mattis. Watching the previews for next week and wow. If Mattis beats up Birk, I'll be even more angry. Ronja, you're my only hope, stop this childish man before it gets even worse! Enjoyable episode 7/10 |

| Wow, I wasn't expecting them pulling something like this. But I agree with others on Mattis, sometimes Ronja seems to be more mature than him. The story with horses was kinda random though as it lead to nothing. But I take it it had to emphasize how Ronja and Birk grew close to each other. And somewhere along the way they managed to pull this relaxing atmosphere that makes this show special when they sit by the huge rock. After seeing preview I really wonder what happens next. |
